"Final weight...40 kilos". Nurse Sol marked her clipboard one last time.
"Okay Rokuro, you can let him off the scale now" The young woman smiled, walking over the counter, she placed her clipboard and pen down. Thoughtful for a moment she turned on her heel "You've been a big help these past few months...I think Biscuit has really taking a liking to you...and not just a force-connection."
The woman walked forward, kneeling on the ground she scratched the underneath of the Kath Hound's jaw. The pup had certainly been on a journey. His family corrupted by the force until they met their end, Biscuit almost receiving that same fate had he not been taken in by on of the Jedi. Slight corruption, through trial and error the Jedi were able to cure the pup. Even find a way to cure others like him in the future. She looked into his wide happy eyes, oblivious of what these past few months meant for galaxy-wide cures. It was a leap forward in scientific discovery. Sure his disease was niche-specific. None-the-less they had been successful.
She turned over her shoulder knowing Rokuro was probably more excited today than any other day. "Well. That should be it." She fished a leash out of her medical coat. Attaching it to Biscuit's collar, she stood up and held the other end to Rokuro. "May the force be with you both."
