Time: 2 days after the duel between Par'jilla and Alarann
Location: The Endless Dawn, office of Prudii Al'verde Par'jilla Brevin

Par'jilla sat behind his desk listening to opera music he had asked the young Fosh to meet him here at approximately this time, he wanted to discuss certain aspects of a new job with the younger combatant, and so he waited, in his uniform his one eye closed, his pipe held loosely in his right hand, he took a long drag from the pipe while the opera music played softly in the back ground.

A bottle of brandy was sitting in the center of the desk, and 2 silver cups were laid before it both empty at this point.

Alarann for the first time in a LONG time walked with his helmet tucked under his arm, his blades were still on his person, though a day ago he had requisitioned one of his blades to be customed into a spear, though attempting to forge a spear ouf of songsteel would have been madness, the phryk-courtosis conglomerate alloy was cheaper and just as effective time constraints being taken into account.

Sir... Alarann said walking into his office and saluting until he was told to do otherwise. The fosh's lightning blue plumage shimmered under the light of the office, although the his armour glittered in a soft platinum sheen. I've come as requested Sir, how may o be of service to you? The loyal corperal showed experieance beyond his rank, though from where and what background no-one really knew... not that he was hiding it.

He awaited the reply of the general, standing at attention until told otherwise. The position he was about to recieve hopefully would further the cause of the brotherhood. Though... little could be determined.

Par'jilla saluted and motioned to the chair opposite his desk.
"Sit, have a drink, I have a proposition for you." Par'jilla poured the brandy into the 2 silver mugs sitting on the desk and sat back to let Alarann choose first, meanwhile he repacked his pipe and lit it using a match.

Alarann nodded, and stepping to one side of the proposed chair and pulling it out he sat within its confines. He looked at the glass, and the brandy that was poured into the glistening circumference of the cup. Placing his helmet on the side of the table Alarann sipped the brandy, it burned down his throat, he didn't like strong alcohol like this, the Fosh in him couldn't handle it very well, and it would only take a glass or two for the effects of blurred vision and impaired balance to set in...

Birds found it hard to hold their heavy booze.

But the age of the brandy was nice, and although it was not his thing Alarann could still taste and distinguish a fine brandy when it was presented.

Quite a nice brandy sir, you have remarkable taste. He remarked raising the cup again and taking another swish. Feeling the lava like liquid scold down his throat causing his next words to rasp a little.

I'm all ears, he said in regards to the proposition, he would likely agree, as he saw no reason to decline or deny anything given to him from the mandalorians, he did after all want to prove himself.

"Obviously I'm old, out spar the other day proved that I'm not much for front line work any more." Par'jilla took a drink of the brandy and grinned, taking a drag from his pipe he set it down on the desk.
"How would you like to work for me, I know it's not very Mandalorian of me to use a body guard but these are troubling times, we are on the brink of war and there are traitors among us, a Man in my position can not afford to go without some form of protection." Par'jilla took another drag from his pipe before speaking more.
"How would you like a permanent job?"

Alarann thought about this for a moment, the thought of the danger of being his bodyguard as well as the repute that the position would instantly give him. He stipulates this for a while, of course he was goin to accept. But should their be any further grounds? Such a position meant he would be possibly removed entirely from the Chain of command, or perhaps ascend it... After being alone with his mind a moment he came to a conclusion.

of course I accept, but, I'd like to push the envelope so to speak and perhaps ask me to be trained as your second... While I served as your guard of course. These are dangerous times. And the men would begin to associate me with you after a time. he was forward, which he felt the veteran would respect, one never killed their chances in the mandos by trying.

either way I accept, but I feel as if such a training would not go wasted, should something unexpected happen, people need someone familiar to instantly turn to. And these are dangerous times... Alarann stopped taking another sip of his brandy, beginning to gain a taste for it...

But he eagerly awaited a reply

"What do you mean exactly by my second, I already have an Executive Officer, if you are asking to serve as my right hand then that is doable." Par'jilla sipped his brandy and took a toke off his pipe, his cybernetic left eye was scanning the man across from him.
"You are a Corporal yes? perhaps I can assist you in moving up in rank, you will need to under take a very serious mission and I will need to know I can trust you utterly, what I do, what WE do is not exactly deemed honorable by most Mandalorians, how do you feel about that?"

Aye, something like that, a second is a term we used for understudy, or replacement in training. Without it seeming foreboding or grim. the fosh still spoke bluntly lowering his mug to the table. Stopping for now and letting his body deal with the first wave of toxin.

with full disclosure, I was trained mostly by an echani assassin, as well as my father who was a high ranking mandolorian... I'm ready for any mission you throw my way, and I WILL complete it. Although I'm sworn to honor and reichousness, sometimes the right thing to do, isn't the most honorable... And I accept that, because someone must do it. he said as best as he could. Describing in such a way as to mean he was ready for any burden he had to bare for the faction should they need him to. He considered himself a weapon, and armour, belonging to the mandolorians more than himself, loyalty that was hard to find these days

"Well, my official rank within the Mandalorian military is Prudii Al'verde, I am head of Mandalorian Intelligence and I over see all Special Forces operations, you will be given missions when it is deemed fit otherwise you will be responsible for sorting through data, officially you will remain a corporal for now, but you will be designated a Watcher, your primary duty will be to distinguish usable data from the garbage we collect from listening posts."Par'jilla gave the young man a chance to collect his thoughts, and decipher what he had just told him.

He was unsure if this position really befitted his skills. Killing without satisfaction was one of them, as well as his acceptional poise. Black hand missions was what he thought he was accepting, but he wasn't much of a decoder, if that's what was implied.

Sounds somewhat like a desk job than a suicide mission. he said taking a gulp of his glass. Though, relaying information like that, as he assumed much of what he would be reading would be volitile, and important messages and intercepted relays. Or perhaps alarann did not quite get the idea of the job in its whole.

His mind was sharp on the battlefield, but in other places it was dull. Alarann was average but no intellectual in high reguard. He only hoped to relay this without a/ sounding an utter fool, or b/ disappointing the man who no doubt offered him a rather important job, as well as a bodyguard position.

I have little training in deciphering script, though important info, yes I'll recognize, though it sounds like something that a secretary would do, as opposed to an fully armoured fighter... it was the best way he could put it, again, he wasn't denying the job, merely questioning further, as well as assuring that his mental image of it was correct. Which seemed logical. To him at least.

"If you look around my crew you will that the only armored individuals are my commando's, I have field operatives, not to say you won't be given field missions for the most part you will be kept close by." Par'jilla wasn't trying to insult the kid or make it seem like a desk job he was trying to relay the importance of the position.
"I have a field mission you can take, there's a star destroyer in deep space, I'll give you the coordinates where it can be found, I need you to sneak on board and secure the deep space transmission codes, and bring them back here."

Alarann nodded, confirming his suspicians, although not entirely unexpected. He was fine with the joba nd the duty he had been placed with. Excellent, crossed his lips in a single positive phrase as he raised his glass to his new commanding officer.

It seemed now that the sleeping assassin was being placed in higher and higher roles. He always saw himself as a commanging officer charging and striking headfirst in formation at enemy ranks, on missions that some or many would deem impossible. But, intel was just as important a field, if not more 'in want of a nail' so to speak.

To the future, and i suppose i'll dispatch on this mission soon... Star destroyer... sounds, interesting. Why not simply hijack the ship and drive it back? He asked, it would require a much larger team, but it would also have a higher success rate... at least to Alaranns' mind.

"We don't want to raise Imperial suspicions, if the Deep space codes are stolen that won't raise as much attention as an entire Star Destroyer being stolen." Par'jilla raised his mug to Alarann and drank some of the brandy.

What i Don't see, is why we havn't launched a counterattack while they're trying to accumulate all of our resourses. Not, before they settle would be the ultimate time to swoop down and rid them of our worlds... But, i guess that bird flew...

Alarann sat and enjoyed a brandy with his new boss. he wis hired on as intel collectionas well as a close by potential bodyguard. In that sense, he guessed he was now increadibly important individual... Watcher... it raises a mental image of a witch finder hunting for spies within the ranks of ourselves. He laughed... Though, the idea of leaving his armour behind was... unacceptable. He was his armour, they were one and the same... Though, he doubted he'd need to for any long space of time.

I'm free for this mission anytime sir, just tell me when, where and if anyone else is coming, and i'll be there as fast as i can muster. He said finally reaching the bottom of his first mug.

Then standing, replacing his helmet, and leaving the room
