Cyzyn-Itza-Rus was not one to look down on the everyday citizen for their simplistic way of life. He understood that they were all part of a larger galaxy and could affect one another in a larger picture. While he had grand schemes, capable of great feats and holding power that some could not even imagine, he did not lord himself over the miners of Gromas 16. In fact he still respected their hard work and understood that it was sometimes a thankless life.

Traveling to Tatooine he had seen moisture farmers, scrapping by to make ends meet. Here, the people on Blood Moon seemed to be similar though their careers were in the area of crushing stone and digging out the ores that the planet had imbedded deep within itself. If the desert environment was not harsh enough already there were beasts roaming the area and harassing the miners. Some had even been injured by the hungry animals. Property damage was an issue and people were getting fed up. The Lunar Brigands had done little to stifle the creatures thinking it was probably of little importance to them as long as they still turned a profit by skimming the books with their extortion operation. Miners had been forced to carry cheap and low end blasters or simple utilitarian tools as protection.

From their reports it sounded like a medium sized creature among other things. Discriptions made it sound about the size of a land speeder if not a little larger with spikes and reptilian in appearance. Cyzyn-Itza-Rus immediately wondered if there were Krayt dragons on the planet but as far as he knew they only existed on Tatooine. The Sith wondered if his cohort had any input. He wished there was more documentation on the planet itself and what flora and fauna. There was a Corona vehicle nearby that they could use to pursue any leads and track down the creature they were after.

Kano had participated in many missions recently, as a warden, he now was tasked to defend the Empire and their citiziens, something that he loved doing, but being a warden was not an easy job, it kept him very busy and didn't give him much time to relax and do what he wanted. Today? Well, he was on a mission once again, but this one was a hunting mission, something different, something he didn't do in a long time, the Warden might be a monstruous abomination right now, but he was a Kaleesh on the inside, a warrior and a hunter, there was nothing that entertained him more than a good hunt.

The Kaleesh abomination was wearing his usual armor, which was hidden under his cloak, his five lightsabers secured on his waist, a hood covering his head, protecting it from the heat and the gaze of those that might fear the Kaleesh's looks. The Kaleesh looked at Cyzyn, it was not the first time they met, the Kaleesh knew the lizard was capable and was happy to work alongside him. While Kano wondered if he had hunting experience, he was willing to be the one guiding the hunt operation and share his experience with him, after all, he could track the beast using what he knew, but it is combat prowess what is needed in order to strike it down, something that Cyzyn didn't lack.

They had little information about what they were about to fight, but to be honest, the Kaleesh abomination didn't mind, it was more fun that way, hopefully the beast would surprise them and give them a challenge, a good time, if not? Well, he still enjoyed simple, easy hunts, and he would learn more about the planet's fauna "Well, lets get right to it" Kano said, looking at his partner.

They were at one of the more remote homesteads to the nearest village. It would be roughly an hour or so to get back to the village by vehicle but Cyzyn-Itza-Rus had a feeling that the beast was actually living out here in terms of a personal lair and just harassing the townsfolk like a predator stalking hunting grounds. It probably did not know humans very well and was still wary of them for the time being. However if this continued then it would likely find out that there were no consequences for its actions and wreck complete havoc on the townsfolk.

The two sith were here to stop that though and their presence was to show the townsfolk that they were here to help. In addition once they had secured the Blood Moon they would have needed to deal with the creature anyways. It hindered the productivity of the mining and was just a factor that needed to be neutralized.

Looking over at the four armed Master, Cyzyn nodded in response. Some small amount of supplies were loaded into the terrestrial vehicle. It was a wheeled mode of transportation, inferior to repulsor craft but still better than trekking the location on foot. It just showed how remote and behind in technology the people of Gromas 16 were. It was probably intentionally restricted with the control the Lunar Brigands had on the planet.

Kano was a kaleesh that he had remembered and worked with. He could understand the man and respect him. They were very similar, but that did not make the cold blooded sith overly sentimental. Instead it was more of just a bit of pleasant circumstance he observed. They were both from hunting cultures. The Tiss'shar species were hunters though far more civilized in their mannerisms and society than other reptilian species like trandoshans. Cyzyn-Itza-Rus preferred to not be lopped in with that species just because they had some biological similarities.

The two Masters were both forever changed by the dark side of the force. Warped and made stronger, more powerful and argueably monstrous. Kano had four arms, was larger and physically stronger. Aside from the appendages Cyzyn was the same, only he had large malicious spikes running from the crest of his head all the way down to his tail. He wondered what kind of nightmare they could instill in someone if they wanted to.

Taking off they headed towards the pinpointed direction of the creature they were hunting. The area was barren for the most part but there were rock formations that looked to make a decent lair and some slight protection from the elements. Indeed it would seem to have a large cave that they could fit the Corona inside of if they wished. Hopefully the creature would be smaller than that though Cyzyn had taken down a Bull Rancor before several stories tall with nothing more than his light sabers and some assistance from associates. Hunting something smaller would not be impossible.

The Kaleesh abomination let Cyzyn be the one driving the primitive vehicle in search of the animal, Kano taking the copilot seat while looking for anything strange, while they didn't know what the animal looked like, such a troublesome predator would probably draw their attention and look fairly more different that the common desert critters, and specially stand out in the barren lands they were driving in.

They obviously didn't find the creature in the open, however, but it was to be expected, something stupid enough to not have a shelter would have died and not even survived this far. The cave they just found was more than probably the beast's lair, the place where it rested before hunting, and the place they had to investigate "We should stop the vehicle here" The Kaleesh said to his partner before they got too close to the cave "This vehicle is far too loud, if we enter the cave with it, the beast will be alerted" He explained to his partner, who probably had already thought of that too. Kano would jump off the vehicle once Cyzyn stopped it, heading towards the cave on foot while looking at the sand, trying to find any footprints or something that would make him even more sure that the beast was hiding there, if not well...he would still have to make sure the cave was clear just in case.

They would approach the cave that they believed the creature resided in. The surrounding area was stark and lacking any particular attraction. But the surface could easily deceive. Cyzyn-Itza-Rus had studied in short desert environments. Hidden stores of water under ground, vast catacombs and secret oasis could exist. In fact that was how Utapau survived for the most part. They built their cities around the large holes in the ground. Some were even large enough to fit corvettes in and still have room to maneuver.

Gromas 16 was not the same though. It had a dusty surface that was better than Tatooine but worse off than other planets. Its remote location on the galactic map made it lacking in terms of import and export. Dangers like the local beast were significant threats.

Cyzyn was already planning on leaving the vehicle outside but was glad Kano was on the same page. The cave could become dangerously cramped if they came upon a narrow or low hanging passage. The two Sith were already large and if the animal was possibly big enough to fill the cave then they would be in between a literal rock and a hard place.

The Tiss'shar took out his light saber and his thunder slug pulse wave pistol. He killed with his claws just as much as his light saber but whatever they were after it would need to get something more than tooth and claw to take it down. He waited in the entrance way, the cool shadow air was a high contrast to the outer heat. Reaching out he tried to see if he could sense the creature. His sense found it almost immediatly. "It is most definitely large, and predatory. I sense it is hungry. Use caution, we are likely backing it into a corner so it will be particularly ferocious."

The two sith entered the cave with no problem, Kano would still be looking around inside the cave and trying to find with his gaze the animal, the Kaleesh abomination being cautious already, wielding his four lightsabers, one in each hand but without activating them, trying to keep the surprise factor for as long as he could. "I know, the more desperate the beast is, the most dangerous it will be, be it a feral creature or be it a sentient man or woman, every single animal fight harder when their life are at peril" Kano commented after the lizard's words, his words being nothing but whispers that only his partner could hear because the more silent they were, the better.

"I can see two ways we can do this" The Kaleesh abomination whispered, looking as his partner before presenting his two options "It is very unlikely that this beast is lightsaber resistant, so we could either go on the offensive, attacking each one from one side to divide his attention and make it harder to dodge us and a good strike would be more than enough to end the fight" He commented, Kano almost never hunted with lightsabers, made it far too easy, but when hunting was part of the mission, it was far more reasonable to make use of his lightsaber collection "Plan B would be as simple as plan A, I would enter in melee range, make advantage of my four arms to damage the beast, while you control its movement and protect me from his attacks with the force, making it a much easier target" Kano said, looking at the deepest parts of the cave "So, plan A, B, or do you have a better one?"

Continuing down the tunnel Cyzyn listened to the kalesh's ideas. "I believe the first option would be best for this situation." If the circumstances changed then the two sith would also learn to adapt. He doubted the creature was light saber resistant but as the Tiss'shar so readily remembered it would still take some effort to cut through the body of a hardy beast. The neck of a bull rancor had taken two clean strikes from his own lightsaber and another before the animal had been felled. Those had been strikes on the animal's weak points too. Thankfully, the reports seemed to make the animal out to be smaller than a two story rall bull rancor from Vatol. That planet churned out some deadly big game and Gromas 16 did not have the habitat to support such large fauna.

Cyzyn-Itza-Rus was two meters tall, and close to being even noticably taller than that at the present time. He wore heavy armor underneath his protective cloak and along with other equipment he had significant mass. Even with his training to be stealthy he was not able to stay undetected from the animals senses.

As he came around a corner he saw the beast staring directly at him. Its mouth was slightly open, its body on all fours ready to charge the sith in a moment's notice. It looked like a toad like version of a krayt dragon. It was a kell dragon or some sort of cousin to the species if Cyzyn had to assume. The Dread Lord activated his lightsaber knowing full well that for him there was no point in waiting any longer. He fired half of his thunderslug pistol into the creature. It would both do damage to its scaled hide but mostly attract aggression so that Kano could get a good angle on the dragon.

Kano followes the lizard man closely behind, the Kaleesh warrior was as big as the lizard, but his hunter training and his use of medium armor over heavy armor made him a bit more stealthy than Cyzyn, so, when the two of them encountered the beast, it would focus on the dread lord that was shooting at him instead of paying attention to the Kaleesh abomination.

So, Kano would quickly run around the creature and position behind it, using the force to move much faster than the average sentient creature would, when the opportunity came, Kano lifted his two lightsabers and striked, hitting thd Kell dragon's tail from each side, the cuts were precise, strong and decisive, dodging the tail's spikes to make it easier to cut, the two blades would meet in the middle and the tail would fall to the ground, being completely cut off.

Kano would dash back, looking at the dragon as it roared in pain and turned around to see what happened and who dared to cut his tail, the beast now had one of its main natural weapons cut off, the tail was long and the spikes were hard, being hit by that would've really hurt and dealing with it in general would have made things harder. Cyzyn would be now able to strike too, seeing how the Kaleesh abomination had caught the dragon's attention.

It would have been ideal iif Cyzyn's own ranged attack had done more damage but at least it had distracted the kell dragon long enough for Kano to do some serious damage. Cyzyn could only wonder at what it must have felt like to lose its tail. He had his own tail to worry about. As the creature turned to face the Tiss'shar's fellow Sith Master he would make his move. Igniting his lightsaber he would dash towards it using the follow up distraction to his advantage.

Working just as intended Cyzyn lept upon the kell dragon's back and plunged his saber into the base of its skull. The blade would pierce its thick neck. For a moment it would let out a cry of anger, pain and death before falling to the ground. A last bit of air escaped the creatures mouth as it fell to the ground in a jarring thump that made even the condensation on the cave ceiling drip.

Stepping off of the creature Cyzyn could tell that it was dead. He had made a calculated risk stepping onto its back despite its spiked surface. He turned to Kano, observing that he was fine and not needing to ask. The Tiss'shar look back at the dragon and made several more slices into the side of the creature to make a meal out of the animal. The whole creature was still quite large and he did not think even with the two large Sith Masters it would be worth it to drag it back to the wheeled vehicle only for him to eat it. A small sample would do.

And just as Kano thought, cutting the beast's tail attracted his attention and gave Cyzyn enough time to finish it, the Kell dragon had fell in just a couple seconds, his corpse being nothing but Cyzyn's next meal, the deadly predator would be a problem no more, their task was done and Kano was just watching the lizard man slicing the dragon while putting one of his lightsabers away, moving towards the beast's face and opening his mouth just to cut all of its teeth, Kano would use those teeth to create a collar or maybe decorate his armor, but it would not go to waste, if he had time, he would probably take the head just to mount it on the wall of his ship, but he doubted Cyzyn would wait for him to do that.

"This went much more smoothly that I anticipated, thought this hunt would have been a bit more...challenging" Kano commented while putting away his other lightsaber and the teeth he collected, he was a bit disappointed but also felt proud of himself, this is what happened when two experienced hunted locked their eyes on a prey, they executed the beast with a few swifts movements and a plan they didn't even have to discuss to perform perfectly, perhaps the dragon would have been more challenging if the two sith didn't use their lightsabers, but even then, it would have fallen, seeing how they managed to outsmart it, the dragon would have only lived a couple of seconds more before perishing. The Kaleesh abomination would accompany Cyzyn back to the vehicle once he was done and inform the locals of the good news, the Sith empire had took care of their problem and in return would gain their favor.

Cyzyn finished a gulp of the raw flesh for a moment. Blood dripped from his scarred maw onto the dry cave floor. "I the colonists had attempted it surely several of them would have died in the process. I think this creature was used to being at the top of the food chain. A pause followed as he looked at the corpse for a moment before continuing. "Obviously this was not the case. Do not sound disappointed Master Taes. The ease at which we dispatched this beast shows how far we have come in our own prowess." The reptilian sith followed this with a final chomp and headed out of the cave.

Starting up the vehicle the two Sith would head back to the town they had come from. They would inform the locals that the creature was dealt with and their harsh life style could be eased by one less threat. There would probably be a celebration and merriment among the towns folk but Cyzyn would not take part. A dust cloud rose behind the four wheeled vehicle as Cyzyn thought of what had occured so far and what would happen. The sun setting always tended to give him a sense of introspection more so than usual.
