Blood Ore
If you're ever on Korriban, and decide to dig through it's red soil, you may come across an unusual ore. Blood Ore, it's called. Also called by the Sith as Stone of the Dark Lords. More precious than Kyber, you can forge it into anything. ~ Hemiway Zelcon; Blacksmith of Rare Metals
History
Not much is known of this peculiar ore, but it is believed to be the fossilized remnants of ancient pooled blood left from the numerous wars that plagued Korriban's history. Few deposits have ever been discovered, mainly due to the Sith's presence and lack of outside opportunists, its rarely even known by the Sith themselves.
Description
Much like Korriban's naturally crimson soil, it harbors a dark red hue that is almost obsidian in color. It permeates a deep iron smell to it, and its density and melting temperatures range very high. In order to forge this ore into a fashionable weapon, one must be a Master Blacksmith or hold knowledge to the similar ore known as Beskar.
Properties
It's dark crimson hue and deep iron smell isn't the only properties that Blood Ore produces. It is a dense metal that is predominantly blaster resistant, but cannot withstand a lightsaber's blade strike indefinitely. It also akin to that of Bled Kyber, resonating with the Darkside and corrupting that of a Lightside. During smelting, it looses its darkened hue and becomes crimson in completion.
Intent
This is intended to be used as a Darksided Sith variant of Mandalorian Beskar. Can be found mainly on Korriban, there are known veins to be found around war torn worlds where Sith Atrocities have been committed as well as worlds with Darkside Nexus.
