I stood waiting in underground barracks of the dueling arena pit, waiting to be called into the elevator tube. The crowd was anxious tonight; probably the enjoyment of seeing blood spilt on the ground made them a bit egger to see more. Some fight for money, while others fight for honor. I fight for me, the name of my clan, my people, and my home world. The hallways were covered in dry trails of blood. The musty odor didn’t bother me. Whenever I slept at the night, the familiar scent of death fills my nostrils. I wake up in a pool of my own sweat, pointing a blaster at the moving shadows. My Mandalorian armor, my iron skin, is modified for an event such as this. No blasters, no wrist rockets, no knifes, no flamethrower, and no jetpack. Only the weapons they give you and your two fists. Situations like this are not new to me. Only this time I’m not the one being hunted by a hundred armed men who want to put my head on a pike. Nevertheless, I must be able to engage my opponent with a force unlike none other. The fighting spirit of a Mandalorian.

GREETINGS LADIES AND RODIANS, I WELCOME YOU TO ONE OF THE TOUGHEST DUELING RINGS IN ALL OF THE ENTIRE MID RIM. WARRIORS OF ALL OVER THE GALAXY COME TO COMPETE FOR ANNUAL PRIZE OF 50,000 CREDITS!

The elevator hatch opens with a hiss and a friendly image appears on the old dusty screen.

Please step into the tube and await further instructions..”

His armored boot enters first through the hatch and the door seals itself closed as his body full enters the grimy tub.

It’s show time.”

STANDING ABOUT 6 FEET TALL AND ARMORED FROM HEAD TO TOE IN MANDALORIAN ARMOR! HE IS ONE OF OUR NEWEST WARRIORS TO PARTICIPATE IN THE PIT HAVING FOUR CONSECUTIVE WINS. HAILING FROM PLANET MANDALORE,
LOGAN RAX!

The elevator travels upward through the tunnel and emerges from the underground layers of the stadium. The door opens and a bright light gleams upon the visor of the Mandalorian’s helmet. As he stepped out of the tube, it lowered itself into the surface of the arena.

"AND THE FIRST OPPONENT OF THE NIGHT... LADIES AND RODIANS WE HAVE A SURPRISE FOR YOU TODAY! SHE'S WON HER FAIR SHARE OF UNDERGROUND FIGHTS WITH LITTLE TROUBLE, GAINING THE REPUTATION OF BEING ONE OF THE MOST WELL-TRAINED FIGHTERS IN THE UNDERGROUND SCENE.... THE MANDALORIAN MASH-UP, STANDING AT A MEASLY 5 FOOT EIGHT INCHES, THE CRAZY BITCH FROM ROON AND ALSO A MANDALORIAN -- A RARITY TO EVER SEE TWO MANDALORIANS IN ONE FIGHT -- SANDY RAJAX!!!"

The annoying announcer's voice would bother Sandy had she not focused on not being the sole Mandalorian in the battle. Her interest had peaked. She had recently taken to underground fighting. It wasn't something that she particularly liked, but it was something that kept her skills sharp, and a good way to make connections with strong fighters, she would need them in time, she thought. She was a bit nervous as the elevator stopped, opening to the sounds of a booming cheering crowd, noticing the armored figure, her opponent for the day. Sandy made her move to the center of the arena, as the crowd continued to cheer, but lessened in anticipation of the two fighters. The arena was also a bit bigger than the fights she was used to, an arena this size wasn't epic in size, but it was still large enough to catch Sandy by surprise. She honestly didn't expect it to be this large from the look from the outside.

Still, she came here to fight, not to become some rock star. She looked at her armored opponent, while she herself was in casual clothing, holding a vibroknife in her hand, and the other behind her neck as she tilted her head to the side, sending a smile to her opponent. She slid the vibroknife onto it's holster on her leg, as she began to speak, "Su'cuy, vod. Jate'kara. K'oyacyi!" she spoke in their native Mando'a. She had respect for other Mandalorians, but it was an age-old tradition that within the battle, dictated their honor and respect for one another. And Sandy would make sure this man would remember her name.

She changed her stance after she spoke, spreading her legs and balancing her body's weight, keeping her center of gravity low. Pulling her hands out, in this stance, she was safe from most forms of takedowns, and in good position to take the first move, as she quickly pulled in to her opponent to grab him by his left elbow and left wrist, pulling him back and behind her, as she tuck her left foot out, in order to trip him. Even if he managed to move out of the way, she would make it an effort to get him on the ground. There, she would have the advantage.

She's a Mandalorian. An honorable and worthy battle. Her height was small, but he never underestimated his opponents. He nodded his head to the female warrior and got into his fighting position. She charged at Logan with lightening speed. She's quick on her toes, Logan thought to himself. Twisting his arm behind him, she had a firm grip. She's been trained well, I give her that. However, Logan knew what she was trying to do. He looked to the right of him and saw parts of the ground moving. Shelves upon shelves were rising from the ground. Hand-to-hand Weapons. He turned his black glossy helmet visor to the woman, where her reflection gazed back at her.

"Ori'jate" - Very.......Good.

But.....

"Not good enough."

Gaining enough momentum and speed, he loosened the grip on his arm by running to the right. Still having the female warrior firmly attached to his arm, he rolled on to the opposite side the floor and sent a strong front kick towards her left rib cage.

As she gripped his shoulder, it seemed the armored warrior quickly moved out from her grasp, the armor too thick for her to really grab a hold of. He managed to worm his way from her grip, and roll away, though as he got up he sent a wide kick to her rib cage. She grinned, as she put her left arm down in anticipation, and though the kick had some force behind it, she managed to wrap her entire forearm around his leg, yanking it back, and tossing him off his balance, and onto his back.

She let go of his leg as he fell, and moved to his right side sending a swift kick to his helmet, she knew her body weight and power wouldn't be enough to kill him or really do much damage given his head was protected, but her boot would make sure he at least got a nagging headache for the next few minutes. She stepped back, pulling out a vibroblade from the weapons rack, spinning it to a reverse grip, as she held it up against her face defensively. With the vibroblade in tow, the man's armor wouldn't protect him for long, she simply had to aim her strikes correctly, and wait for the correct opening. Given they were in a close battle, well, Sandy wouldn't have such a hard time, not unless he had some other trick up his sleeve. She simply hoped the kick would be enough to disorient him, at least for a while.

"Well, come on brother. Show me what ya' got." she said with a grin, enticing the warrior to get back up. She hoped he didn't disappoint. Then again, Sandy had always been known to beat up the other boys her age, growing up, so she didn't fear fighting another warrior from her people. She did have the reputation of enjoying beating boys up, maybe too much.

Logan was sent to the floor with a kick to his helmet. He staggered to the ground as his head rang and the dizziness made his head swoon. As his torso slowly rose along with the rest of his body, his helmet tilted side to side as he cracked his neck. Her vibro blade was unsheathed placed against her face, waiting to strike. To every armor there is a weakness. As mandalorians, they both knew that. With that knife, she was like a surgeon. Hitting every opening precisely on the mark.

She is good, I give her that. Her ego, however, will not save her.

He rolled a few feet away from her, yet kept his view on her. He slowly approached the weapons rack beside him, grabbing a doubled vibro claw gauntlet and a miniature shield that covered his arm. As it Clamped on his wrist, it locked into place and he pointed at the female mandalorian. The blades sprung out and extended about eight inches away from his wrist. He curved finger in a gesture, telling her to come at him.

"Your move."
