After this election, he is a clearly going to be a Republican Party front runner. He is young, loads of people like him.

Why, so that the Republican racists can say that he's really an Indian trying to be white so its okay? Please. The Fascist Republicans won't let anyone other than a country club conservative into office.

Uhm, you shouldn't be watching FOX News. This guy won't even be considered in a serious Republican Primary.

Wow, that's offensive. Let's say you don't be an ignorant jerk, shall we? I myself am a Republican (not a "yipee kay ay" one) and I can tell you that, considering the majority of the Republican party is made of mainstream Republicans and not crazy members of the religious right and neocons (just as the Democratic party is made up of mainstream Democrats and not ultra-liberals), the Republican party will go through significant changes over the next four years to the point where people like Sarah Palin will not be the figure heads.

I'm not a jerk, I'm just not an idiot. Look at the various McCain rallies and Palin rallies. The vast majority of Republicans are racist xenophobic fascists. Not all of them are and you may indeed be the exception, however most republicans are unfit to vote, and not worthy of being a citizen of this country. Same goes to the democrats thinking bush ought to be killed or assassinated for "war crimes". I don't take either side, because both sides are wrong.

My thoughts exactly.

Alright, the arrogance aside, I could easily say that the vast majority of Democrats are sexist, elitist, and violent. Would that make it true? No, because it isn't. The fact of the matter is, the majority of both parties - as Brandon said earlier - are actually quite moderate, and shouldn't be classified by the antics of far-rights like Sarah Palin and far-lefts like Barbara Boxer or somebody. The truth of the matter is, there will always be bad apples on both sides, and they'll always be the one's who get publicized, because crazies like them make the news.

It depends on your definition of moderate.

What is "moderate" for you is an "extremist" for us.

Possibly, though, my definition of "moderate" would be someone who is willing to work in a bi-partisan manner, go against his party on certain issues if it means that it will strengthen the country, and willing to change and revise old policies and agendas as the need arises. It might be different for other countries, but from a purely U.S. point of view, that's my take on it.

Except that the antics as you claim existed from the get go, and almost everyone that attened the rallies of John McCain and Sarah Palin were involved in the dehumanizing of Obama and the out and out racism that existed there. You had an 80 year old woman that said he was an Arab on national TV, and that shows you what sort of people attend those rallies. Not to mention the numerous supposed links to Osama Bin Laden and Obama because of his middle name and skin color. You have people going to palin's rallies and saying Bomb Obama, and picketing folks' homes and what not for supporting him.

Yes, there will be bad apples on both sides, yes, there are always extermists, which is why I said I am not an idiot, and I will never believe some naive person who thinks that there are only a few bad apples in a barrel, when the whole system is rotten. Both sides are at fault, both sides are immoral and unfit and both sides should be ashamed, and trying to rationalize it behind a facade of realism and denial only prolongs the issue which has past the point of becoming systemic.

Bi-Partisanship is a lie that was sold by the Democrats and taken hostage by the republican "maverick" John McCain during this election. It is neither here nor there since the whole history of American Politics after the Federalist/Anti Federalist argument has been one of a divided and derisive government where cut throat policies and ruthless implementation of the party line is what is the norm. Look at lieberman and you shall see where bi partisanship gets you in this country.

In that same vein, there have been several reports of violence among Obama supporters. For example, some Obama supporters shot at one of McCain's buses with a a .22 caliber weapon, and paint balls. In Philadelphia, some anti-Palin rallists shouted "Let's stone her [Palin], old school." Even in my own neighborhood, one of my friend's cars got shot at for having a 'McCain-Palin bumper' sticker on it. Broken windows and ruined doors, the whole deal. Republicians aren't the only ones that have crazies, they're just the only ones that get televised.

I still don't see how the vast majority of Democrats and Republicans would classify as 'radical' or 'extremist'. You're insisting that there are more bad apples than good. I would argue that the opposite is the case. Only a handful of Republicans and Democrats would actually go out and set fire to buildings or attack someone at the opposite end of the political spectrum. Sure, at times the system gets crazy and you have Democrats vs. Republicans, but at the end of the day, we're all still Americans, and I seriously doubt that the lot of us in the majority would go out and perform some extremist act of any sort.
