Remiel had found himself alone in one of the numerous training bunkers of the Alsakan Union. Due to a lack of prior military experience, Remiel had been assigned to a higher-up for training. His normal apparel of a large hat and long, flowing overcoat had been replaced by a basic leather long-sleeve shirt and ragged trousers. He didn't want to ruin his good clothes, especially when he invested so much money to keep them clean and usable.
Glancing around the room, he calmly waited for his master to arrive. He expected his master to get here soon, but there were no guarantees. Life was busy around here, especially with so much to do during the ceasefire. Taking one last shot with his battle rifle, he scored a clear hit on the target he was practicing with before placing it back in the weapon's cache for use by other training cadets.
"And now to wait," he muttered to himself.
