Tomic agrees to an assassination contract against a local crime boss in the underworld of Coruscant. He and his partner must locate the boss and pull off the assassination. Being undetected is not required but escaping without issue is. Tomic Domin + Jayscreec Alecwit + Irolia Shen

Time to get to work.

Tomic didn't really enjoy spending any amount of time in the undercity of Coruscant but he had gotten the contract for the assassination from his contact and it was time to get it done. The contact was someone from the underworld of Coruscant but he came highly recommended by other members of the Imperial Military who had used his services to get their hands on items they weren't really supposed to be able to have.

He knew some of his allies who had disruptor technology and that kark was banned on literally every world he could name - even the ones that normally didn't give a damn about any kind of laws. But he didn't want anything like that.

He just wanted some guns that hit harder or faster or both.

Both would be good.

Equipped with his long blaster rifle, slung over one shoulder, Tomic stood on the street corner and waited for his allies to arrive. Once they were here they could hash out a plan of attack and, well, attack.

The attacking part was always a part of it, naturally.

Jaysreec took his time before the get-together. He was probably flagged down at the spaceport because they spent nearly an hour answering questions about his itinerary.

Eventually Jay paid for a cheap grimy place as their base of operations in the lower city.

He had no idea about what was happening. Not that it mattered to him, he only knew someone overstepped and they must interfere.

In plain clothes with concealed weapons Jay joined Tomic Domin, someone he never heard of. "You must be my new partner. Name's Jay. I've got a hideout down the block in case-- That's it from me, are we waiting for someone else?"

Irolia normally wouldn't do assassination missions, she never was much for killing someone without confronting them or at least just taking them by surprise. Maybe it was her Mandalorian training and Sith teaching, or maybe she just liked to fight an opponent head-on. But this time she thought, *what the hell, let's see what they are like* as she took on the mission. She knew very little about her target, which she didn't mind, the blue sith was however curious to see who she would be grouped up with. The only thing she was told, was that they were agents of the Empire. She guessed that was enough, they probably knew about how this whole ordeal, since they were after all more part of the military than Irolia.

Irolia had checked both her blasters, to make sure they were working as they should. She had dismantled her hilt, clean it and put it back together. It didn't take long to arrive at the street where they would meet. Walking down the street she noticed, not many people were on the street. Getting closer to the corner of the meeting point, her droid Parrot, let go off her shoulder and was now floating beside her. Looking from the first man to the second one at the corner, "you two must be the other on the job" assumed the blue-skinned sith.

Tomic nodded to Jay as he arrived before doing the same to Irolia when she arrived as well. The two of them seemed to have a handle on what they were doing because no one asked any stupid questions about what they were going to be doing. The two of them knew what they were doing and what they were doing was not the kind of thing that was spoken about in public spaces even on Coruscant.

"I've got a vantage point." he gestured for the other two to follow him into the building he was leaning against, taking the lift up to a floor a dozen levels higher than their starting point, "The target is some smuggling ring boss - likes to show off his credits with some big parties."

Stepping out of the lift, he continued into a floor that seemed to be under construction. He gestured to one of the rooms and entered himself with his long rifle now in his hands.

"See that building over there? Big apartment with a large balcony/landing pad?"

He tapped his rifle.

"You two get him onto that landing pad and I'll take the shot to take him down - sound good?"

Jay could see the building and recognized the landing pad. Let's say he wanted to escape, he would go up there, he said. The sniper gave them a huge advantage, but that also meant the agent had to go with the Sith. Her blue skin and red eyes still gave him chills.

While alone with Irolia Shen he decided to spark up a conversation to find her motives and ease up. Seems to be a pretty standard mission. I was wondering if we should expect something hard since you're here, he asked. Jay was different than average imperial troops. He couldn't care less about formalities. Recently he was seen more in plain clothes handling black ops than in his battle dress uniform. He knew that every single soldier was expendable. Staying in the long game seemed easier like this. At least he wasn't part of - with his own words - the shit, when thousands die from artillery.

He hid his long rifle in a bag that he carried over his shoulder. The location was popular, with a quick search on the HoloNet he recognized the floor-plan and the basic idea of the building. Jay walked to the vent access from the outside and paid a lot of attention to avoid being seen, or being seen suspicious. He removed the vent's access and used a combat mirror to peer inside.

We can climb this, he said. He went inside and started climbing. As he was getting closer the crime-lord's party broke the silence. He stopped underneath the target's floor.

Do you want to enter directly? I got a breaching charge and we can bring down a floor from above, he suggested. Lead the way, I've got your back.

Irolia hadn't said much, she just listened and followed the two agents. This wasn't much her way of doing it, so she figured that she might as well just go with the flow for now. By listening, you start to notice certain things, not to mention the force, of course, helped rather much. But she especially notices Jayscreec feeling sort of nervous around her and in a way, it made her smile internally.

"I have no doubt a man of that status, got the money to have guards, seems a bit silly to not have" expressed the blue Sith with a raised eyebrow, walking along Jayscreec. She looked at the vent, he wanted her to enter that? Ugh... fine, but it would just have been much easier to go the direct way. Never-the-less she followed the agent through the vent until they got beneath the party's floor. The party was loud, as in stupidly loud, Irolia could just about hear herself think and Jay talk to her. "You would think they would go deaf with how damn loud the music is" commented Irolia, petting her little droid, that was on her should, beeping quietly to its owner. "Sure, go ahead agent" replied Irolia, going back a bit, to get some distance from where Jay would place the breaching charge.

Tomic was situated well away from the part and even further away from the infiltration itself as well. He checked his sights for his long rifle again before lining up with it. Taking a deep breath, he rested the barrel on a crate as he looked down through the scope, adding some basic magnification as he did so.

Just because he was this far away didn't mean he couldn't help however.

"Hold up - I see an unmanned turret covering the rest of the way ahead of you. Let me see if I can't get a shot in to take it down before it can open fire."

Taking a deep breath, he lined up a shot with the turret before pulling the trigger three times as quickly as possible.

The first shot broke a small section of the window apart, allowing the second and third shots to destroy the turret before it could notice the other Sith agents and before it could raise the alarm. The pounding music kept his shots from being heard.

"All clear, move up."

Watching the breaching charge being placed Irolia had taken a few steps back, just to be sure. "This is Irolia, Jay is going to breach us in, so be~" Unfortunate it didn't matter, at all. Before Irolia got to finish her sentence the charge went off too early and Irolia felt a serious heat and shockwave hit her. Not just hit her but really smash her hard in the front. Irolia got sent back a few meters, landing with a heavy thud, winded her on the metal beneath her. Irolia shoulder and leg got pierced by something sharp, embedded deep within her flesh. If it hadn't been because all of her air in her lungs had left her, she would be crying out in pain from getting pierced by metal.

The vent got covered in smoke and dust, making it impossible to see through. The only thing Tomic could hear was static on his comm from Irolia's end. Trying to breath felt like getting burned and the dust didn't help at all. Coughing, bleeding and in a world of pain, Irolia tried to crawl out of the vent, away from where the breaching happened. She really hated getting blown back by explosions, you would think a damn jokster god or some form of ancient being found it funny to put Irolia in these kinds of situation. Her head was ringing from the loud explosion as she tried painfully to get out of the vent.

For some reasons Irolia felt the breaching charge's impact that threw her on the ground. Jay made a mental note to pay more attention next time, or at least, double-check his calculations.

The guards and the guests all got surprised.

Those too close to the wall probably weren't happy about it either. Every second mattered in this situation. To win some time for Irolia, Jay threw a consconcussion grenade into the hole. Get ready, throwing a banger, he said. The stunner bounced off on the wall. Some of the sparkles met the entry-team's sight. Still being in the vent, the agent heard a loud pitch sound that made him pause.

He didn't enter yet.

Alright looked like his allies were in a spot of bother and they were no longer going to be benefiting from any longer range cover - it was time now to engage in something stupid to save his allies. Tomic was beginning to think that doing stupid things that shouldn't work, and somehow making them work, was going to be his most used skillset. He was a marksman but honestly he had done more damage to enemies of the Empire with mad rushes than with his gun.

He was almost offended by that truth if he was being honest with himself.

But that being said? He was reasonably sure that it was time to be just as crazed as before. He tapped at his datapad, calling for an airspeeder taxi to his location before stashing his rifle. It was too long to be of any use to him so instead he drew his blaster pistol and fired once when the airspeeder arrived, shooting the driver through the head. Pulling the corpse from behind the controls, Tomic took control of the airspeeder.

"Incoming back up."

The grenade detonated but Tomic didn't much care about that - he crashed the airspeeder in through the window, crashing into one of the guards and killing him on impact. He dropped out of the speeder into cover with his blaster pistol at the ready.

"I brought an escape route."

Irolia hissed and moaned in pain, feeling her shoulder and leg were on fire. But even though she was still in pain, she used it to fuel her anger and hatred. Holding her breath, she slowly but surely fought her way to the breached area to the party. Coughing and with a layer of wheezing as the dust from the vent had done a fairly good job in making it difficult to breathe for her. But she fought through it and the moment she appeared in the breaching hole, she drew her blaster, while leaning up against the wall.

two guards were about to shoot at Tomic as the made a sudden entrance with the speeder, but got shot down by Irolia. "Fark... Jay, I swear, if we survive this, I am so gonna kill you" hissed Irolia angry, as she coughed up a bit of blood. Man, she was not feeling great, it felt like she was burning in the wounded areas. More guards started to shoot at the 3 unwelcomed guests. The blue alien had to let herself slide down beside a large potted plant, so she wouldn't get hit by the incoming fire.

The entry so far went horrible. They collected little to no intel about the interior. Breaching went so bad that Tomic had to bring a speeder through the window. Is this even real? He entered with that? Jay thought. Jay grinned beneath his mask upon hearing Irolia's comment. "I love you too!" he said.

The clock was ticking. Jay finally joined the fight. The two seemed to be having control of the room. The agent immediately noticed that they could be flanked from the right, with a door standing there. He stepped back and rammed his foot into the door. He immediately entered with his Gladius Blaster Rifle held high-ready.

Three guards met him in the room. One on a comlink, one running towards him, and one raising a blaster in his direction. In a mere fifth of one second Jay took a shot at the armed person. He registered the hit, but he couldn't waste time for a second shot. The sprinting guard was too close. The agent dashed forward and rammed the stock of his blaster rifle into the guard's kidney underneath his ribs. Then he executed him. The third guard slightly opened his mouth and dropped his comlink. He was too late to resist. "Get on your knees!" Jay ordered. The agent tied his hands behind his back with zip cuffs. After a brief frisk he took the comlink. "Lay flat like a starfish. If you're found anywhere else I'll throw you out the window."

They were in, the people in the building were all getting down on their hands and knees and all that was left was to identify the target. At the end of the day this wasn't a raid or a robbery; this was an assassination. Taking out his datapad, Tomic pulled up a picture of the target and held his blaster pistol in his other hand.

"Irolia, Jay - get in the speeder." he told them simply as he moved down the line of guests and guards, looking at their faces and back to the datapad before moving on, "Because we..."

He paused in front of a prone man.

The man looked up and Tomic checked with the datapad once before firing his blaster pistol, blasting the target's skull apart and painting some of the other people with his brains. Tomic didn't much care though, he just fired another three times, executing the remaining guards even as he left the other civilians alone.

"... have completed the mission."

He put his datapad away and climbed behind the wheel of the airspeeder before piloting it away from the scene of the kill with his two allies safely secured.
