(Note that this thread is set up around a duel with Saren and Phil's Mandalore. People should not interfere for the most part.)

Saren stood alone within the mobs of fellow Mandalorians who trotted down the vast stairs that laid before the H.Q. that served Mandalore's center of operations. The place was built like a damn fortress, anything else would've been a smack in the face to the entire culture.

Many of the men and women passing by him bore the symbol of the New Mandalorian forces, declaring their allegiance to one man. Formally he was known to be "The Exalted One", but had later switched it to another title that he felt to be more fitting. To Saren, these titles meant little to nothing. Instead The Exalted One was a mere fool prancing around in his armor, pretending to fill shoes that were never meant for him.

Today he would tear Mandalore's head straight from his shoulders, treating it like a trophy to prove that he was nothing more than pretentious bastard, leading his people down a short road filled with the mangled corpses and torn flags.

"Today your reign comes to an end, Mandalore! I'll show everyone how much of a pitiful bitch you really are! One of us will walk away with a head on their shoulders and the other will be a limp corpse to display who was the better man!"

Saren's voice rang out like the roar of a lion! Many stopped immediately at his declarations, staring at him strangely with both anger and curiosity filling their minds. Much of the security surrounding the area merely called back to inform Mandalore of Saren's small speech. Arresting wasn't something that they did in situations like these, instead it was by customs to allow both sides to meet and discuss what was being said. Even if it meant the two battling it out.

Mandalore was in his office, going through some of his work he had going before Aspect entered his office. After a bow, it went to address the rabble going on outside.

"Mandalore, there appears to be a challenge for your title outside?"

Mandalore turned to face his droid fully at this, sighing slightly. They really did not need this now.

"Who is it?"

"Unknown, he goes by the name Saren in our records. He has no place in any rank in your military."

"I'll deal with him, stick close though."

Mandalore said as he rose from his seat, wearing his armor and helmet as he made sure his cape was clipped on rightly. As he went to address this issue, Mandalorian Primes had made their way to where the Challenger was. He was not only speaking of a challenge, but death threats to their Mandalore and that they did not take lightly. They had orders though, and both on the streets and on several roof tops they had their rifles aimed and trained on the man.

On his balcony, Mandalore came out of it with Aspect and two Primes standing behind him. He looked down below and was quickly able to see who was causing this commotion. He didn't look like much, but looks could be quite deceiving.

"You have ten seconds to identify yourself and speak your reasoning for this before I have you arrested for disturbing the peace. Starting now."

He spoke in a demanding tone. Challenging him was one thing, a non Mandalorian challenging him when War was right around the corner was something not just unacceptable to him, but to everything he taught his people.

"Saren Te Adenn is my name, Mandalore. My family's long held beliefs have driven me here to remove you from your seat of power, I'm impressed to see that even one such as you has to have armed guards when dealing with a potential adversary? Now where's the fighter's pride?"

Saren merely took a step forward, listening to the quickening grips of the Prime's hands upon their weapons as he did so.

"It's one thing to lead your people in such a diminishing way, but to make us fight against ever growing tide out of pure insolence? Perhaps my father was right in dying against your foolish reign, but I will not share the same fate."

Saren was fearless with his words and merely stared back at the foolish man hiding behind a title that didn't belong to him. By now his visor had painted a perfect line around each and every prime, dictating to where Saren might need to strike in-case things became hairier than they needed to be. His chances were slim however, escaping was practically impossible, but Saren only needed one move if it came to that.

Mandalore stared back at the man down below, Saren was indeed his name, and his accusations were heard. He turned back to Aspect for a moment, not worried that Saren would do a surprise attack.

"Anything yet?"

"Negative. No official records of him are found."

"Pity."

Mandalore once more turned back to look down at his so called challenger. He was going to tell him the truth in not just what will happen to him, but also give him some education.

"Your challenge falls on deaf ears, Saren. Were you apart of my people and at a respectful rank at different times, we would fight. However, I am to refuse your challenge. Not for my sake, but for my people's sake. We do not kill our own unless it be severe crimes, you want to kill me and prance around with my head like a savage. We are above such things and you should know that. You also do not have the standing, honor or respect to even consider challenging a Mandalore, we're more then just following a leader blindly, and I'll die before I see us going back to the dark ages of such things as killing anything worthy of fighting, or even following someone who will see us destroyed. This is also not the time to be fighting among ourselves, not with our enemies just beyond our borders and wanting us destroyed."

Regardless if he listened to him or not, Mandalore was not done with him yet.

"You still have a lot to learn, Saren. It was not my intention to explain this to you infront of my people, but I had no choice. I am now asking you to leave my city, and only to come back when you have learned what I told you. Don't make this difficult."

Mandalore then gave the order, the Primes would go to escort Saren out of his city. If he attacked back, or refused, then they had the order to take him out. This was not negotiable, and the Primes knew only loyalty to their lord.

"I'll leave, but know that you now appear as a coward before the dogs you threaten to unleash on me. Know that these little seeds of doubt will blossom within their minds. Today it's them, tomorrow, everyone you lead. You have doomed yourself."

The Exalted One's men quickly mashed their weapons into Saren's back, forcing him down the steps as they made their way back into the lower sections of the city. Hundreds seemed to follow as Saren was treated like a Pariah while many shouted profanity and hurtled many small objects at Saren, merely bouncing off his armor with a slight ping. In due time they arrived at Saren's ship while hundreds more had gathered at the docks, trying to wrestle him from the hollow safety of the Primes.

Stepping aboard his ship and quickly engaging into his flight back home, Saren found himself speeding away into the blackness of space. There was no glory today, but he would find his way back to The Exalted One. Fate would declare it so.
