Astraia Munro stood in a training room on Korriban. It was her second try at training and hopefully this master would stay around for more than the basic 'what are sith?' questions. Lame!

She didn't know who her new master was, but she just wanted to get this done and over with. They wanted to change her, but it wasn't going to work. She was her own person and nothing was going to change that.

She started to pasce as she waited for her master.

To the untrained eye, Gienn would have looked like a wanderer lost in the halls of the Sith temple on Korriban. He was, in fact, deep in thought about nothing in particular. He had heard his new apprentice was stubborn to the Sith philosophy.

That's alright. I can kill her if she persists.

The training room, lit by glowrods that seemed to emanate a menacing light, was about thirty square meters. Other than the few training sabers on a table at the far corner, it was empty, save for Astraia. Gienn cloaked himself and walked across the room to stop in front of her.

"Hello Astraia. I'm Gienn, your new master. You will treat me as such, and address me only as Master. Are we clear?"

Gienn focused with minimal effort to bend the particles of light around him. Even the most advanced machine would see only one being in the room.

Astraia jumped and spun around quickly. It was an honest response to someone speaking in a seemingly empty room. She thought for a second that she had lost her mind, but then decided that she was not crazy and should respond. She turned back to where they voice was coming from.

"Yes, Master"

She had nothing else to say at the moment. Being her normal self when she couldn't see her opponent.

"I will never abandon you. This should not bring comfort, for doing so would allow you to live. No no no.... You must survive training. If you disrespect me, I will dishonor you. If you ignore me, I will make you listen. If you attempt to distract me, I will break your fragile body until you're void of all that allows you satisfaction. Is that clear?"

Gienn stepped back and pressed against Astraia with the Force. First against her neck, a slight build of pressure, like a lump in the throat. Then, the temples, like a splitting migraine. As the pain built, Gienn appeared slowly. This was the perfect first impression. Astraia would forever associate her master with pain.

Astraia wanted to scream as the pain started to course through her body. It was not an experience that she wanted to feel again, but it was something she was getting used to her masters inflicting pain.

She saw him appear from thin air as the pain continued. She slowly struggled out a nod to show that his words were clear.

((Sorry, posts will lengthen when questioning is done.))

Gienn released his hold and paced around his new apprentice. "What do you know of the Sith, our ways, beliefs, techniques?"

Astraia felt the pain receed from her body and slumped a little as her new master started to pace around. Great entry and right to the point. She liked him...in that 'I really you hate you' kinda way...already.

"I know the code, but that is it. My last master left before we got any further than that"

He couldn't control me, she mentally added to herself.

"The next time you see him, kill him. He is a fool. I will help you achieve this, but only because I want to create a killer, to be pleased with myself. If you know the code, that is well enough. Straight forward for most."

Gienn continued to pace billet his eyes trailed toward the walls, he was bored with ranting, but he knew Astraia needed to learn by listening. For now...

"It is important, however, that you know the reason we are here. It is to rule. That is what the Dark Side is for. Dominance. Lords go down in legend for killing and controlling. Have you heard of a Jedi Master who was famous to the public for sitting and twittling his hair? After one who is destined to rule comes to an end, the Sith must rebuild themselves through determination, and when they regain control, the Jedi continue to survive and rise again. Nature takes it's course. I will make you into a Sith, one who rules with an iron fist and commands the Force as you command the weak. And you will not get in my way. Those are live lightsabers on that table, take any you choose, and force me to draw my own blade. Then, kill me."

Gienn said all he needed, and awaited his apprentices response.

((You can choose any hilt style: double, Shoto, etc. Any color too. Unless you'd rather not use a lightsaber at all.))
