DESCRIPTION
The CZ MSBR has long been the front runner of burst rifles on the market. But Blast-tech has caught on to the demand and has since began producing their own version. More or less the same performance as Czerka's product it boasts a few minor differences that some consumers consider are major improvements in a practical sense. It was noted that the size of the weapon is still required. The length and weight are unavoidable. While the BT DTAR, often simplified to the name "Dee-tar", has the firing mechanism located towards the rear of the weapon instead of the middle of the blaster it's housing still requires the extended length of the barrel to provide the same performance. Blast-Tech is still working on finding ways of uncovering the secrets of Czerka's ability to have a shorter 'barrel' though information has been either limited or unproductive. The conclusion is the bullpup design of the MSBR is just an alternative design but ultimately not adding any major benefit to the user.
The design of the DTAR is meant to be more practical for those of smaller size though the weapon is still large. It boasts an edge for those capable of utilizing it. But even larger and more skilled warriors still have their reservations against using such a large and cumbersome weapon, arguing that it's benefits do not outweigh its drawbacks.
