Serie and seven of her Sith shock troopers made her was through the spaceport, generally causing mayhem and destruction as they went. She was here with Vincent of course. More or less her second in command, and another friend she had just recently made, Ren.

Together the three of them and her soldiers were going to capture the largest spaceport at the capital no less. With all the other simultaneous attacks going on around the planet, she figured there was no way that these poor verpine would resist them. They would be slaves to the Empire at the end of the day, especially if Serie had anything to say about it.

Surrender is the only way you'll live through this. Just become willing slaves. It'll make it better I promise. She yelled, albeit nonchalantly over the sound of blaster fire and the humming of her light saber.

Vincent was thoroughly enjoying himself, as he generally did while on a trip with Serie. He had become an unofficial second in command to her, so every now and then he would bark an order to the nearest shock troops just for fun.

Vincent himself was basically just strolling along a few feet to the right of Serie, his saber twirling left and right to cut down anyone in his way. He didn't even stop to see if his victims were dead, just kept on walking. The rhythmic sound of his breathing apparatus in time with his purpiseful steps. "I'd listen to the lady people, sst much fun as I'm havin' here we kinda need folks left over ta subjugate 'em!sst"

Ren followed along with the duo as they went, dragging one of the security detail along beside him, the force being the hand he was not using. The creature screamed in agony as Ren focused his darkness not on killing him, but on setting his nervous system ablaze. He looked around the spaceport, the way it reached further back towards the landing bays and hangars, and he deposited the screaming vermin when unconsciousness finally claimed him. The worldwide operation was to conquer the planet and enslave the Verpine inhabitants. Seemed easy enough, and all he had to do was aid Serie and her ally in claiming the spaceport, and thus the capital.

"Someone should make their way to spaceport security, assuming the planet isn't full of heathens and they actually have one. Control of locks, cameras, communications, and defenses could help counter any resistance," Ren remarked idly, looking over towards Serie and Vincent, voice as cold and metallic as ever. He reached down and grabbed the curved hilt of one of his sabers, igniting the crimson blade as he looked out over the space they occupied. He hoped this wouldn't get dull.

Vincent laughed as he snapped his fingers and immolated one of the locals who had the lapse in judgement to try and stop them, the screams of the people around him almost louder than the screams of the burning defender.

"Ya know that idea ain't half bad Ren.sst You wanna do that or should we send a few troopers?sst"

He would have done it himself but he was just having way too much fun, and he felt that he may need to watch out for Serie.

Ren turned and watched as Vincent incinerated yet another Verpine local, the scent of burning flesh filling the air. Most of the people running around the gatehouse and terminals of the spaceport seemed to be only civilians. Their submission was irrelevant to Ren, it would only waste his time if he went person to person and started subjecting them to torment. No, he needed to focus his attention on matters that would attempt to prevent him from completing his objectives. He turned back to his fellow Knight and decided that perhaps it was best to just let him have his fun.

"Very well, you stay here and try to secure the rest of the spaceport. I'll press on towards security and ensure we have full control. Do try not to die while I'm gone," he said, turning off to head down a side hall that leads towards the service halls of the facility, tattered capes rippling in the churning panicked air around him. Ren steadily worked his way down the hall, shoving by several chitinous locals to make his way, never caring enough to strike any of them down. As he turned a corner Ren was confronted by two Verpine guards who, upon noticing him, quickly lowered their blasters on his chest. They each took a shot, and Ren stopped in his tracks, quickly but casually lifting his ignited saber into the air, deflecting both shots back into their direction. The shots landed home, one flying through their skull, leaving a burning tunnel where it's left eye had once been. The other slammed into the chest of the surviving guard, a shower of sparks and smoke quickly filling the air before the creature collapsed.

Ren proceeded forward before turning down the service hall they were guarding, noticing the security door at the end. Ren quickly keyed his comms line open, speaking to the internal microphone he had built into his helmet,
"I think I've located the entrance to Spaceport Security. Bumped into a few guards on the way, but not as many as you'd expect. The rest have likely deployed to defend the facility, keep an eye out." Ren proceeded down the service hall further, eventually coming to the door before looking up at the camera that was staring directly at him. With a tilt of his head, he called on the force, reaching out towards the camera with a dark invisible hand and crushing it, tossing it aside so that it hanged loosely from its cables. With that, he lowered his head to the security lock that sealed the thick metal door ahead of him and lashed out with his saber.

Serie walked along the spaceport looking here and there to see if everyone had surrendered yet when she heard what sounded like boots running on the duracrete floors. She stopped and looked down one hallway and saw four armed guards from the space port security branch running at her. Blasters in their hands and some light armor to boot. She smiled a bit more widely. She was pretty bored so far, so at least this would give her something to do now.

She twirled her lightsaber in front of her, deflecting shots as they were now being fired from the guards blasters. She didn't feel like being extravagant or anything today, just get rid of the pests as they came up and she would have the spaceport under her control in no time.

She sent a quick force blast from her right hand at the four guards in the hallway as the troops started to lay down some fire as well around her. Not that she needed it but at least they were doing something to help. The force blast would rip apart the walls of the hallway as it traveled through and ragdoll the poor beings that were stuck in the way of it. With that settled she pointed down the hallway and nodded towards her soldiers to start moving in. She could only assume that the guards had come from some sort of area designed for the security team as well and there could be more of them waiting in the wings. She waited for them to move in before following behind, keeping her sense open to make sure she wasn't taken by surprise by anything, plus with Ren on his way to the camera control area she figured they would see anything coming between the two of them, not to mention Vincent.

As Vincent advanced he began to hear the sounds of blaster fire, which actually excited him a little. Not only did it mean he got a challenge but he also got to watch Serie in action again. And see this Ren fella in action as well. So far the guy had a good head on his shoulders and seemed tactically sane.

Then he stopped dead as eight guards rounded a corner in front of him and leveled blasters at him, Well kriff me sideways. he thought to himself.

Before any of them had a chance to think he pulled his left hand revolver and fired two shots into one of the centernost guards' chest. The guard fell instantly dead with two smoking holes in his sternum.

Then the remaining guards fired, leaving Vincent with seconds to figure out what to do about seven hot bolts of plasma. Being short on time he opted to go up. Pooling the force into his mechanical legs and launching himself about fifteen feet in the air, he fired two more shots. One shot went into the skull of one guard, and one into the skull of another. They crumpled to the ground dead as he landed.

With three guards down in seconds, the remaining five were somewhat shaken. Still keeping their weapons trained on the Sith knight, they looked to their squad leader for direction.

Ren stepped into the dark room as the security door slid open, the control panel still sparking and hissing smoke as he pushed forward. His lightsaber cast a glaring crimson glow across the simple metal walls of the chamber, and Ren narrowed his eyes in suspicion as he took another cautious step forward. This place was too dark and too quiet for a security monitoring station in a spaceport presently under siege. No, they were somewhere inside waiting for his approach. Ren closed his eyes as he stepped forward again, reaching out with his senses to feel the life of those hiding in the room. The short hall stretched only a few feet from the door, followed by corners that opened up in the central station. They were here. Two of them. Two hearts pounding quickly, two blips in the fabric of the force. His eyes flew open as he surged forward, sensing the first creature quickly pop around the corner.

Before he could even get a shot off Ren impaled him on his saber, hearing the burning whine of the blade as it boiled the Verpine's blood and burned until it was char, instantly cauterizing the wound. With a shove, he discarded the corpse to the side as the second one lifted it's blaster and fired three shots, each one Ren quickly deflecting away from himself, although none of them landing home at such a short distance. Ren quickly threw his hand out and felt the life force inside of the guard, felt it pulsate through the air and savored the smell of it. Raw, and natural. With a tug he ripped at the essence of it, drawing the life straight from the only remaining opposition Ren had. It gagged at the loss of its own vitality, falling to its knees as it grasped at the hollowing shell of its new corpse. A moment of silence filled the room as the pitiful thing fell with only a dull thud and then nothing.

Ren sighed and disengaged his saber, keying the lights back on as he walked over to the terminals and monitors that lined the wall just above them. Before him, he saw a cycling layout of the many cameras that lined the airport. Locals no longer running about in panic, but now either surrendering, hiding, or quickly being executed for any small amount of resistance they might put forth. Ren watched as his fellow Knight, Cross, stumbling upon the large group of security personnel, now engaging him in combat. That was a lot of opponents, even for someone with his experience. Lord Fond, on the other hand, seemed to be handling herself much better, with far less opposition as well as a detail of troopers to assist her. And that's when Ren noticed them.

A sense of anxious anticipation setting in, Ren set the majority of the cameras to focus on the stretch of hall than he had just noticed casually pan by. Two figures, dressed in reserved garbs. A bright blue light. How hadn't he felt them before now? He must've been too absorbed in the resulting chaos of his own arrival to have taken the time to be cautious. Ren watched the two Jedi Knights sprint down the hallway, and in tow behind them five security guards rushing to keep up, blasters in hand. He quickly activated his comms system, speaking as calmly as possible, "Vincent, Serie, you have another detachment of security personnel coming your way. Five of them. And they're not alone either. They have two Jedi with them."

Serie heard Ren come over the comlink informing her that there were more forces on their way. Not the least of which being two Jedi. She directed the soldiers to take up defensive positions along the hallways and listened for the Jedi and other guards to make their way to her.

She was looking the force together in her hand as the Jedi came around the corner of the hallway, some ten meters in front of her. She didn't know where the other Jedi was, or even the other soldiers, but she didn't care. She was going to deal with this one first then move on to the others if no one else took care of them first. Creating a extremely powerful force bubble so cold it was visibly blue and white in her hand, she thrust her hand out and sent it towards the Jedi.

Unfortunately for him, he was caught unaware by her attack and it hit him full in the chest, the frost and ice instantly expanding over his torso and the top part of his thighs. The worst part for him being that it also covered his shoulders and top of his arms, meaning her be unable to move his lightsaber properly to defend himself.

Serie smiled and did a quick victory strut towards him, ready to finish him off with her lightsaber before he got the chance to free himself, almost skipping as she went.

Vincent rushed forward at the remaining five guards from the group that was causing him problems, inciting another volley of blaster fire. He deflected two of the bolts back into the heads of those who fired them, immediately dropping the number to three. He ducked or dodged the remaining bolts and spun, bringing his crimson blade through the chests of all three guards in one movement.

As the remaining guards fell Vincent heard ren's warning over his comms just before seeing one of the Jedi and two soldiers accompanying him, he quickly hurled a fireball before pulling one of his pistols and shooting the leftmost guard in the head. The second guard fired at Vincent as the Jedi threw off his burning cloak -only suffering light singes- and drew his own green lightsaber.

Vincent holstered his pistol and rushed forward using the force to speed his movements, the bolt passing through the space he had been in after he was already gone. The Jedi swung his saber and the Sith smirked under his helmet, stopping himself short and pulling the guard into the path of the Jedi's strike with the force.

The Jedi's eyes widened in horror as he cleaved his own ally in two, causing Vincent to cackle madly. As the guard fell Vincent lashed out with the force, striking the Jedi in the stomach with an invisible fist. The man doubled over and Vincent brought up his right knee, the metal prosthetic clanging as it hit the Jedi and the man flew back from the force of the hit and landed on his back hard. Vincent was on top of him in moments, placing his left foot on his opponents chest and ripping his saber from his hand with the force before using the pleading Jedi's own blade to sever his head from his body.

Ren watched as the Jedi split up along with the accompanying soldiers, and took notice of the ensuing battles with his Sith allies. The two of them certainly knew how to handle themselves, that much was for sure, and their talents in the force were foreign to anything Ren had seen before. Fire and Ice, huh? What a peculiar duo. Ren panned the other cameras that covered the entire spaceport, noticing many civilian evacuation shuttles taking off in the hopes of breaching the Imperial Blockade. And on top of that, it looked like reinforcements from elsewhere on the planet were trying to land in the hangar bays as to provide support to the city. That would have to be brought to a halt.

"Lord Fond, I've done what I can here, but we need to take the landing pads and hangar bays if we ever hope to hold this spaceport. As long as they are open civilians can be evacuated and additional reinforcements can be brought in to oppose us. I will be making my way there now, but assistance may be needed."

Ren turned and began to head back towards the doorway that he entered from when he felt it. The approaching Verpine vermin were gathering outside of the security center to try and retake control. He could feel the life force of four of the units entering into the hallway cautiously, a few more waiting outside. It appeared as though he would be late to the rendezvous. Ren keyed his comms alive once more, speaking into them, "It appears I will be held up. Do proceed without me, I will catch up soon."

With that, Ren gathered the Dark Side within himself and donned both of his lightsabers, their curved hilts smooth and familiar in his hands. Still, they were not his primary weapon like so many other Sith. No, his strength laid in his power over the Force. Every step he took towards the hall built up the power within him like a dark storm on the horizon, a mass of shadows filling the sky. Every step filled the air with dread and misery. Every step brought the grotesque life forms opposing him closer to their doom. As Ren rounded the corner he appeared not as a man in armor and a mask, but as a monster wreathed in darkness with the visage of nightmares.

The Verpines lifted their blasters to take aim at Ren, but he threw his hands out and let out a cry of agony, channelling his own suffering to fuel the power he would use to cripple his foes. It rolled out from him, like an inhuman wail to fill the hall outside, and many halls past it, the dark side shrieking with unchecked might. Ren lept forward towards the foolish fiends that thought to oppose him, a wall of darkness and growing storm, and fell upon them like a nightmare brought to life.

Serie proceeded to cut the Jedis head off before he could free himself from the ice encapsulating his body. She received the transmission from Ren and got her troops moving into the security area of the starport. They would sweep through each and every room until it was finally cleared.

Ren seemed to have some issues with some remaining guards buy she could sense that he could deal with them easy enough. Vincent likewise would be having some trouble so she in turn decided to deal with it. She wasn't needed however as she saw the other Jedi get cleaved in two by his light saber. She smiled at him at informed him..

The starport is ours, along with the city. Mission accomplished.
