DESCRIPTION
Early instances of the Bulwark speeder bike were recorded following ossus where Republic commanders identified that many scouting missions using Assault speeders were compromised due to the light armor plating and minimal offensive capabilities. To combat this, the republic military arm invested in the research and development of a more robust speeder, that would afford the forward rider, sufficient time to hold back the enemy whilst reinforcements arrived. The end result was the Bulwark, a tri engined speeder bike, that although was significantly heavier than their counterparts in terms of armor and fire power. Was able to maintain maneuverability when operating at the designated maximum design speed. Anything beyond that would make the speeder unstable to fly
Unlike the most common assault speeder bikes, the Bulwark is limited to a single driver with no passenger capabilties. Contained within the snub nose of the speeder four light blaster cannons are integrated into the hull. Capable of semi automatic fire. Unable to fire on one specific target, the Bulwark is designed for large volumes of blaster fire to cut into enemy infrantry ranks
LEGALITY
Illegal mostly everywhere except for the Outer Rim. Also used by several military organizations.INTENT
The intent is to provide a more durable and heavy hitting Assualt speeder to be used as an offensive means of attack during significant engagements or to allow any forward riders to hold their position within enemy lines.ADVANCED TECH
Yes. Unlike many of the more commonly available recreational speeders available on various markets, the Bulwark was designed for military applications. Providing various military and planetary enforcement arms with a durable but heavy hitting speeder designed for solitary scouting missions or providing heavy covering fire in the thick of a mounted charge against infantry position
