The ex-Jedi Shadow was tagging along with Darth Evandrus to a business trip to the Core Worlds to discuss legitimate business with a company. This trip to them to the Coruscant. While Evandrus was content with doing all of the talking, Spencer was pretty much just standing around looking good, and occasionally chipping in. This meeting is done, but everything moved faster than expected, and thus they were left with plenty of spare time before there were scheduled to leave. So, Evandrus thought it wouldn't hurt to maybe have some fun at one of the nightclubs.

So, they came to this nightclub they call 'Purgatory' on the upper levels. It was a large one, had lots of exotic dancers, flashing lights, and loud music. There would also be a bar as well.

As him and Evandrus stepped through the entrance door, Spencer looked towards Evandrus as everyone around them went on with their own devices. He wondered what they should do first "So, what now?" he said loud enough to be heard over the music and general commotion in the busy nightclub. He really isn't sure about these places either, they've never been his thing.

Spencer would be wearing a double-breasted navy blue suit with pinstripes, a white dress shirt, a nice striped tie. He would also have some thick black glasses and his hair combed neatly. Random people wouldn't be able to recognize him very easily. Evandrus wouldn't be wearing his very recognizable Sith armor, so they wouldn't stick out as sore thumbs as Sith.

Some people might be rather alarmed to know that the Sith Empire and the Galactic Republic? Were not at war. No matter how many people on either side wanted it, it seemed that war was not about to break out anywhere near as quickly as people originally believed. Instead, war was far from the minds of the traders and businesses that operated both in the Republic and in the Empire.

As the Prince of Lothal, Evandrus was actually the single largest businessman on said planet and that did mean that he had to take some visits into Coruscant to discuss issues and non-issues with people the planet traded with.

And now?

Now it was time to get a little drunk and dance a lot.

Or the other way around.

Either way - it was time to blow off some steam and this club seemed like it was doing well for itself so here he was with Spencer in tow to try and have some fun!

Dressed in black trousers and a black jacket, with a lighter shade of blade shirt underneath, Evandrus probably looked like a sexy goth or something but he wasn't immediate recognisable as Evandrus.

Unless they'd watched the news... but this was a club, who watched the news and went to a club?

"Now?" he grinned as he shouted to be heard, "Now we make sure we grab some over-priced drinks!"

"Alright then!" Spencer cracked a bit of a smile. If they are indeed going for overpriced drinks, then hopefully they will be on Cregan's tab. Although he could afford it, he doesn't spend credits on much, Evandrus has a much larger bank account. So with that, Spencer would head over towards the bar up the steps. Once over towards the bartender, there would be plenty of colorful characters up there. Taking a seat, Spencer would then have the ear of a bartender who would ask for his order. "Gin please. Preferably stirred for ten seconds. Probably while looking at an unopened bottle of vermouth." he said with a flat expression on his face, and of course his usual Alderaanian accent. The ex-Jedi Shadow would look towards at his partner in crime Evandrus and then it would be his turn to order.

Looking around, being in this nightclub on Courscant is a nice change. He is usually only either on Lothal or out on some kind of mission. The night life scene isn't his thing but Lothal doesn't have that much of one if one at all (?). Maybe it's not the worst idea to try something new or differentevery once in awhile. It's been a long time since he's been back to Republic space as well. Even with his best friend, it's really hard for Spencer to be really completely at ease. He always is cautious to a certain degree. That's just this thing as a Jedi Shadow and something that's probably not going away.

Nothing wrong with getting a bit of a drink in with some friends! The overpriced bit would have put him off if it wasn't for the fact that he wasn't Cregan Doldan, penniless Jedi Knight, anymore. He was Lord Evandrus and he had the credits to pay for the drinks even if they were five times the price they should be!

He still hoped they weren't but still.

Rolling his eyes at Spencer's drink order, Evandrus smirked a little bit,

"And I, good sir, shall have a Zeltron Sunrise!" he declared with a wide grin, "And you make sure there's extra vodka in there, you hear me?!"

The Zeltron sunrise was a drink that had alcohol in it... and then had another five different types of alcohol mixed in. The idea was that if you drank enough of it it was the same as being drugged and pheromone'd on Zeltros. Naturally it was also bright pink and sweeter than sin.

Paying for the drinks, Evandrus turned to Spencer,

"So are we going to try and get you laid or are we here to get plastered and dance?"

As the bartender was preparing their drinks, Spencer would have his attention turned towards Cregan. "Uhhhh..." when asked of what they are going to do next, not quite knowing how to respond to the first option of getting laid. Spencer was wondering on what to do. None of those things have really interested the ex-Jedi Shadow particularly, perhaps something a remnant of his days as a Jedi, or it's just the way Spencer is wired. But he is a free man now, he can get laid freely (and he has to looks to make that not a problem) and he can get 'plastered' all he wants as well. Spencer isn't shackled to the Jedi teachings any more, he has all the freedom he can want. The problem is he hasn't quite figured out one-hundred percent what to do with it beyond working for Evandrus.

"Well. I guess we could try that first option". The ex-Jedi still remembers at Draco's party him blacking out from being too 'plastered' before and having a nasty hangover when he woke up the next day. No thanks. Spencer would shrug his shoulders lightly and would then turn around and look outwards towards the other patrons, who are pretty well diverse. Looking back to Cregan again "Care to help a bro out?" he ask while smiling chuckling lightly as would ask the High Judge to be his wingman pretty much. Romance is a foreign world to him, not only that, he doesn't know where in here to start either. And with that, the two's drinks would be placed on the counter by the bartender.

Teasing Spencer was both too easy and too much fun.

Honestly, Evandrus felt like all he ever did with Spencer was think up ways to make the young man blush or feel awkward - and he only did that because it was cute to see how Spencer reacted. Ah the young man really hadn't changed all that much since he had become a member of the Sith Empire rather than being a Shadow.

He supposed it was a good sign.

Oh ho ho!

Trying the first option? Well hell, he had suggested it as a joke but if Spencer was down then he wasn't going to beat around the bush! Time for Operation Get Spencer Some Strange was go go go! Leaning against the bar, Evandrus grinned a little bit as he accepted the drink he got from the bartender. At Spencer's ask for help, Evandrus just chuckled,

"Oh as if I was going to NOT be your wingman!" he joked with a wink before adding, "Alright Spencer - what we looking for here? What's the ideal target looking like?"

"Well thank you!" he chuckled and smiled in appreciation of Evandrus going along with this. Spencer took a sip of his drink shortly after it was made available, and it looks like the High Judge his at Spencer's side as his wingman. Sweet. He would smile. He didn't know Cregan was joking at first, but it looks like they are going through with this. He is treading in unfamiliar territory. As he was once a loyal Code-abiding Jedi, romance was never an interest of his, not even something he dabbled in a little. Spencer would look up and try to picture what his ideal target would look like, and then look at Cregan. If he were being honest, his ideal target would be like Cregan. Spencer has always felt attracted to him even during his Jedi days, but he's taken but is fine with that. Spencer would then answer. "Well..." he would grit his teeth brief moment before stroking his chin with his left hand as he ponders in thought "Lets see... human, male, young and good looking. Blond hair perhaps, though that's not a deal breaker." so, pretty much an attractive young male. He would keep grinning towards Evandrus and then once again seeing if he could find someone who sticks out from his seat. Not yet. The nightclub is still pretty busy with the music and the commotion. Now, does Spencer's description give Evandrus enough to work with?

The Imperial Military hadn't been too happy with Fester's appointment to Imperial Judge, which the latter realized all too quickly by the looks and obnoxiously loyal behavior towards the Empire that the ordinary rank-and-file showed in his presence. As he was a Serenno Cadet in the army of the Grand Count before the Empire had even formed, this complete and utter devotion shown towards the Sith Lords was foreign even to him. He could understand devotion to the Grand Countess because she saved Serenno in its hour of need, although one cannot ignore the suspicious presence of Force-monsters that hadn't been on the planet since the Exile forces ravaged the planet's D'Astan Sector, but for Corporal Olonn it became increasingly difficult to be devoted to his direct superior, the Hugh Judge. Darth Evandrus wasn't a man who acted out of military or judicial protocol, instead preferring to cheat on the Grand Countess with young boys who he bestowed important roles upon as if they actually earned it. Spencer Ward was such a favorite and it wasn't the first time Fester had seen it happen. Pre-Andraste Serenno had known Counts that appointed that promoted intended lovers to well sought after and influential position so they could get something in return.

If anything this wasn't the behavior of a High Judge.

Corporal Olonn was seated in a booth that provided him with good view of the Darth and his lover. Dressed in ordinary Coruscant nightlife attire, with concealable urban protection armor and a perfectly legal hold-out blaster, he had paid much of his wages on bottles of Chandrilan Champagne and a human woman of long-abandoned-virtues. It had cost him a lot of credits, but it did allow him to melt in with the Coruscant nightlife and observe his targets without them knowing.

Why they had chosen Coruscant for this dalliance was beyond him. The Grand Countess didn't care about Lothal so just do it there where you have absolute control. Fester had his datapad in his hand the thought of ringing the Coruscant Underworld Police had crossed his mind if it wasn't for the Grand Countess' whole Non-Aggression Pact.

Oh wow...

Okay so apparently Spencer's type was... well apparently Spencer's type was him. Huh that was rather... well he supposed it was rather obvious when you thought about it. He had hoped that Spencer had another type though, someone more obtainable considering the situation that Evandrus found himself in where he refused to be with anyone but his wife.

Well if he had gotten to know Spencer's preference before his marriage it might have been something that happened but now? Yeah, Evandrus wasn't about to be doing anything like that, especially not in a nightclub on Coruscant. But he was still happy to help his friend get laid - they deserved a little bit of time off from the hard work and such.

Hmmm... now who to try and get interested in Spencer?

Oh hello.

Out of the corner of his eye, Evandrus spotted a man sat at a booth who seemed to be looking at them rather intently. Sure, he was looking away often but it was... too regimented. Like he was looking away but knew that he was going to be looking back any minute now.

Either he was interested in Spencer... or the man was spying on them. Either way...

"Bartender! Another glass of what my friend is having!" he ordered, paying for a duplicate drink of Spencer's before handing it to him and using telepathy to point out which person he meant without looking at him, "How about him? Give it a shot! Just wander over and say you bought this drink for him because you wanted an excuse to talk to him, alright?"

Spencer knew full and well that Cregan is out of his reach. He knew before anyone else in the Jedi that he married Andraste, and despite this the Jedi Shadow still betrayed the Jedi so that he could be with him. The attachment was locked in since they met and he can't seem to let go. Spencer is under no illusions he can compete with Andraste over Cregan has no intentions to do so. He sees him as his best friend although he is still attracted to the Sith Lord. That and everything the younger ex-Jedi does now, he does it for him. Still, that doesn't mean he can't pursue his own happiness. It's a waste of the freedom he is given himself.

The Sith Master was unaware of the person observing them in the booth. He felt at ease now. Then after Evandrus ponders in thought he suggests that he go to this one booth with a drink he just had ordered, and give it to the guy as as a greeting to start a conversation. Spencer was told which booth to go towards with telepathy. "Sounds good!" he would then get up out his seat, with a smile on his face, with both drinks in hand. He would go over towards the man's booth (@Ecclessey). He would then sit-down on the opposite of the table where the man was. Here goes nothing. "Hello there sir, hope I'm not intruding! Interested in a glass of gin by any chance? I got it for you, if you would like?" the the ex-Jedi would keep a firm smile accompanied with a light chuckle as he hopefully got the man's attention, in a positive manner.

When he was in the academy on Chandrila, Trenton rarely frequented places like these despite the stereotype of rowdy college students. He was only here now under advisement of his campaign manager, that he had to be seen as more of a people person instead of a politician. Good thing for him, then, that the wiles of anyone here weren't very effective on him. He'd manage to satisfy those urges during the academy through alternate means, which only served to help his self-control. At least now he could be in a place like this without the risk of being seduced easily, plus he wasn't expecting to find his type here anyway.

Dressed in some denim pants and a black shirt under a red jacket, Trenton had his hair combed back as always as he held a drink in one hand. He sat at the bar, looking occasionally around at what was going on, taking in conversations while people walked by him not knowing his status as a Senator. That was probably a good thing, and a sign that he still had a lot more work to do to become someone truly important. It was almost amusing to see how many people were using a place like this to try to fill the emptiness inside themselves, some more awkwardly than others. He took a sip of his Corellian Lager, a drink a floral shirt-wearing man had once recommended to him on a vacation to Chandrila. It was indeed quite good.

The gamorrean lady walked into the cantina, eyeing up everyone in the bar. She was in a previously white dress which was now stained different browns from rolling around in mud before getting to the cantina. She wanted to smell beautifully for everyone and the mud smelled perfect. One or two fish must have died in it, which was a little odd. Someone must have put the fish in it; maybe someone tossed a garbage bag in it and rats ripped it open. Either way, she smelled wonderful. At least to her. To others she would smell like the most horrible thing they could imagine.

As her eyes traced the beings in the cantina, they settled on one man (@Faster Than Light). He... he was extremely handsome. So handsome that she felt her cheeks change to a different color. His hair was dark. His eyes a bright blue like the bugs she cooked for dinner this morning. The only thing wrong with him was he was a little skinny, but that could be easily fixed if needed.

Flub fanned herself with her hand as she walked towards him, stopping at the table while he was talking to another gentlemen (@Ecclessey) who was not nearly as attractive. Placing her muddy hand on the table, she leaned over to whisper to the man. "You handsome," she whispered with her hot breath. "Am very attracted to you." Flub winked. "We sex later, but am now dance for you okay?"

Kriff. Fester knew he had been made when Spencer Ward came over to him. Him pretending like he didn't know him from his Imperial file as a Judge was an easily seen-through ploy. Fester's eyes shot from Spencer to Darth Evandrus and back, closing to slids as he tried to make sense of their move. Were they trying to say they were untouchable? Is that the level of corruption that had infested the Empire? Was the Hutt Cartel, while caught in a two-front war, actually morphed into a deep state controlling the Empire behind the Empress' back? Had Fester, while enforcing the cartel's monopoly within Imperial Space, contributed to the fall of his Grand Countess?

Corporal Olonn's head began to swirl and he might've lost it if it wasn't for the immense smell that suddenly broke his focus and brought him back into the real galaxy.. Holy Karking Bantha, that Gamorrean stank! "Excuse me," he said, nodding to Spencer and then to the Gamorrean, before quickly leaving the cantina. He had a lot to think about and even more to investigate.

Had the Hutts infiltrated the Empire?

Okay, before the man could respond to his offer of a drink, Gamorrean then came out of nowhere and stood at the table and made her presence known (other than with her smell). Whatever she (?) is, she seemed really into Spencer. Spencer could only look towards her in surprise and shock. How did that thing get into this fancy nightclub? Wouldn't the bouncers like... eject her for ruining the atmosphere? Spencer looked towards the man he was sitting across as abruptly stood up and left the table in short order. That ruined what Spencer thought was a good start, but as soon as the Gamorrean turned up it was ruined and he really can't be blamed for that. That just leaves him alone with the Gamorrean in front of him, who the ex-Jedi is now looking at ready to reply back to shoot down her unwanted advances. The ex-Jedi Master's two glasses of gin would be laying on the table, he would have pulled them back already so the Gamorrean's muddy hand isn't anywhere need them. Spencer's smile that he previous had would well be off by now and he would be really annoyed, and it would come across in his tone as he would respond to the Gamorrean's. "I'm sorry. But I'm not interested. Go away, thank you." he bluntly dismissed her. As he said that, Spencer would have gotten out of his seat and then make his way past her the booth to go towards Cregan. If she tries to stop him or try touching him from behind (or anything else)... well the Force is a nice thing to have.

Oh... oh this was just amazing.

Ok so it seemed that the target he had sent Spencer after had quickly left and that was fine he supposed - but then Spencer seemed to have attracted a female Gamorrean... he hadn't even known that that species actually came in female. You learned something new everyday it would seem.

Letting his friend deal with that... hot mess, Evandrus moved down the bar to someone who looked like he might be Spencer's type... and someone Evandrus recognised.

"Senator Kaizer." he greeted the man with a smile as he came to stand beside him at the bar, "What brings an upstanding man like yourself to such a place?"

The disguise wasn't perfect, yet it wasn't one that should have been so easy to see through, either. Of course it would be a Sith who would be here today, a powerful one, at that. He didn't let any of the slight annoyance he felt come across his face, yet this man didn't need to know the real reason he was here, either. It wouldn't do to lie to him either, so a middle ground would need to be found. "Evandrus, wasn't it? I could ask you much the same question." He took a sip from his drink, turning to look at the man with the same measured gaze he gave everyone. "As for me, well, I'm human just like anyone else. Being a Senator doesn't turn me into an unfeeling creature devoted entirely to politics. A person needs to be able to unwind, especially with that kind of stressful job, otherwise you end up like former Senator Faunus and just snap during a heated debate." Nothing he said was a lie, just a different correct version of the truth. Some answers were just more correct than others. He doubted Evandrus wanted to really interrogate him here anyway.

The ex-Jedi was able to get past the female Gamorrean who wanted to dance and then have sex with him afterwards. That is still very bizarre and he wants that image out of his head as soon as possible to be buried and forgotten. Spencer as he got up he then sees that Evandrus changed his seat at the bar, looks like he is talking to someone else at the moment. Another male, blond hair... Hmmm. Spencer would go over towards the bar heading towards the two, once there, he would take a seat on the other side of the Senator, so that the Trenton would be positioned in between the two Sith. Spencer would only taken his seat after Trenton had just finished talking, missing out on the conversation. Spencer wouldn't recognize the guy if he saw his face. The last session of senate he watched was the one with the Senate pod race and that is all he recalls of it.

"Oh hey there, hope you two don't mind me sitting here." He said towards the two. The ex-Jedi would look towards the two as he sat down with a friendly smile,. He would then sit his two drinks down on the counter in front of him. He would look more towards the senator and then introduce himself to him. "How are you? Nice to meet you. I'm Spencer" he said, lightly chuckling afterwards. This person looks like Spencer's type. Looks like after the other guy bailed earlier there is still plenty of fish in the sea here, ain't that nice. And hopefully the Gamorrean would stay away.

Octadar liked nightclubs. You could dance your sorrows away, and being Octadar, he had plenty of them. This was a new one which he decided to try out. And so, he had arrived in relatively plain clothing. He had no real disguise, just normal clothes and normal hair which everyone usually had. So... He was here! He decided to take a few drinks first. Usually getting drinks meant that his dance moves was better. So he walked up to the bar, and ordered a cocktail. He leaned on the counter, and waited patiently for the drink, before receiving it and sipping on the straw. He looked round a little, and observed his surroundings.

He supposed the senator had a point there - down time was useful. Even the worst military commanders recognised that having their men in a state of constant alert wasn't a good thing. Sure, it sounded great to have all of your soldiers ready to fight at a moment's notice but it tired them in every sense of the word and that left you with men and women who were more likely to shoot their own side than the enemy.

Men and women who were more likely to fall asleep than actually follow orders.

"Oh I understand - it's the same reason I'm here with my friend." he admitted to the senator, noticing Spencer coming over, "With that in mind... please keep an open mind about said friend? He's single and I think you might be his type."

Evandrus smiled a little bit,

"I certainly don't mind." he admitted before nodding to the senator, "I can't speak for our new friend here though."

With that, Evandrus ordered another drink for himself from the bartender to keep himself out of the introductory conversation between Spencer and Trenton - and kept an eye on the woman, Flub. Spencer was a 25 year old virgin for gods' sake - he needed this!

A variety of things ran through Trenton's head as the new young man sat down and Evandrus ordered more drinks. The observations, the deeper ones, he would keep to himself for later. For now, it seemed like he had an actually interested taker in the usual purpose of these kinds of clubs. How curious. This young man had his attention now. It would be interesting to see how far it went. Trenton extended a hand, a smile on his face and genuinely friendly in demeanor. "Nice to meet you, Spencer. I go by Trent. How is the evening finding you this day?" He would start out the conversation easily, drop an ice breaking question and hopefully let the other young man feel more comfortable. He had as suspicion that this was the first time Spencer was in this kind of situation so he'd do his best to help out the man. He'd keep an eye on his body language and his responses, still keeping that friendly look on his face. He was just a genuinely nice person.
