Sol spent an inordinate amount of spare time reading about one or the other subject, absorbing knowledge at a ludicrous pace. His tendency to leap down the rabbit hole of whatever subject he'd last latched onto was precisely what lead him to being spurred into actually doing something with another Sith. It wasn't that he avoided others so much that he didn't really think of overt socialization in the midst of everything else he did.

Luckily, the young acolyte was fairly shameless when it came to interacting with others. Sol'd thrown out a message to another acolyte with very tempting language about finding some kind of long-hidden treasure he'd discovered a trail to. Which was why he was waiting in a hangar for the purpose of getting to the first step of a quest of sorts. He'd already arrived in-system as a secret stowaway.

The young Acolyte had both an oversized black hoodie and a well-worn backpack of stuff ready, prepared to go off to who-knows-where. As much as Sol enjoyed what he did around Dromund Kaas to some degree, sitting around the temple until the heat death of the universe wasn't on his to-do list. If he didn't go of to do something he might actually die of boredom. A Kubrik's cube twisted about between his fingers while he waited, idly trying to get all the coloured sides to match.

He and Ashla had met only rarely, but she seemed reliable from the rumours he'd heard. People seemed to forget Sol was around because of how quiet he was and blabbed away about anything and everything. Tales of a ballet-dancing Jedi causing an avalanche during a battle Ashla'd survived convinced him to invite her along. Maybe he'd even hear about it first-hand!

Arriving planetside by her own means, Ashla managed to get a bite before she returned to the rendezvous point to meet with Sol. She had met the young Sith once, though the time felt much shorter than it must have been, because the boy looked much older than the last time they had met. Not like that made much difference, her list of contacts within the Empire was so limited that she couldn't really turn down an interesting proposition just because she wasn't entirely familiar with someone. Some of the most productive adventures she had had were with complete strangers.

Spotting Sol, bent over something she could not see, she slowly snuck up behind the big before leaning in over a shoulder to see what he was so occupied with. "Whatcha doin?" She asked as she took a peek at what was in his hand, recognizing the puzzle from...somewhere, and recent experiences making her think of some mischief. "Ahh, a thingamabob! I tried solving one a long time ago, unfortunately all Togruta are color-blind, so I got nowhere."

The statement was false of course, but she was sure the lie would reap humorous results some time in the future, be it sooner or later. So with a content smile on her lips she leaned back from Sol and took a step back to give him room to turn and face her. Noticing the backpack he carried, she nodded in approval, more to herself than to him, and waited till he had put away his puzzle.

"So," she finally asked, "what's this once in a lifetime opportunity you messaged me about?"

Sol abruptly straightened, not having paid all that much attention to his immediate surrounding, taken in by his little puzzle. His head turned to look in Ashla's direction, nearly making contact in the process, although he seemed unconcerned by their surprise proximity. Dark brows rose cynically at her statement. He almost took his datapad out to look that up and verify it, but they had stuff to do, so instead, he glanced at his cube again and put it away.

His right hand flattened and nearly touched his lips, lowering and moving slightly toward Ashla in thanks, then went through another couple of eager motions. Sol paused mid-movement and reached into his pack for his datapad, swiped a bit to type messages out, and presented it toward the other acolyte.

>Possible treasure trove on Dxun. Need local information and transport.
>I only have clues.

When it came to studying, Sol considered himself unmatched, finding patterns in seemingly unconnected tidbits buried in old books. One particular battle on the Demon Moon had left no side the victor. A skirmish in a secret place. Sol gave Ashla a sly smirk that lit up his fairly still face, dry winds brushing through ink-black hair.

>No one's found it. I think we can. Will you help me?

First, they'd have to go out into the city of Iziz. Sol's clues were geographical and historical and only the locals really kept half-decent maps of the forest moon above.

Ashla was a little surprised by the means of communication, but didn't say anything on the matter. She assumed this was another instance of her not being as worldly as everyone else, a direct result of her rather restrained childhood. After all the Galaxy was a big place, so it was a certainty that there was a great deal that she did not know.

"Treasure?" She asked, making her think about Senin and a similar request that he had made. "What is it with boys and treasure?" She didn't wait for him to answer the question, and continued speaking. "Sure," she said, "I'll help you. Where do we start? Is it like a X marks the spot sort of deal or are we talking a Galactic Treasure type of scenario where we have to find a hunky history buff to help solve all sorts of puzzles?"

While she talked she started moving, gesturing for him to follow, not leading them in any particular direction but just to keep them on the move. She didn't much like staying at one spot when on a job, and given what Sol had described she considered this to be one. One that she had just signed up to help with.
