DESCRIPTION​

The Lightsaber-blaster hybrid was invented by the remaining Jedi during the reign of the Galactic Empire. After the purge the remaining members of the order had to hide their relationship with the force and could not use their signature weapon, the lightsaber openly so devised a way to conceal them to look like blasters. Adding a second that could discharge the weapons energy as a blaster bolt. Because the energy bolt is not encased in the focusing field the bolts fired where weak and only capable of stunning its target.

Byron had made his lightsaber with available and hand picked parts in the wake of losing his lightsabers on Kessel. Keeping in mind his previous design's unassuming appearance, he opted for the blaster hybrid design after making the Mk 1 design blaster pistol. With his previous lightsaber having four kyber crystals, the loss of the tool was heavy on Byron. For this reason he has abstained from using the dual phase function of a lightsaber since it requires two crystals for fast adjustment efficiently. For the time being the lightsaber can have its blade length adjusted but not in a fast clicking manner that others would use to their advantage in combat. The blade of the saber is orange, similar to its predecessor.

Create a weapon for Byron. Based on this but unique for Byron after he lost his last lightsaber.
