Caelian's Sith Robes
Custom designed by Caelian, this set of robes were made to be worn during his official duties as a Sith Champion - offering the best protection possible while avoiding limiting manoverability.
The robes are woven from blended durasilks with a complete armorweave underlay - utilizing high-quality materials while not compromising on protection from shrapnel and other unpowered weaponry. They are fitted with a segmented, armorplast cuirass over the chest and abdomen - as well as additional plating on the lower legs - for ablation, and with the capacity to be replaced when needed. Durasteel vambraces protect the tops of the hands and forearms, while plain leather gloves cover the hands. A utility belt is typically worn with the robes.
The accompanying half-cape is woven from the same material and provide no more protection than a cloth would.
LEGALITY
Legal. There is nothing inherently illegal about the robes, and they are inconspicuous enough that they are unlikely to draw attention.

- Torso: The entirety of Caelian's torso is covered with segmented armorplast plates, with an armorweave underlay

- Lower Legs: The entirety of Caelian's lower legs (beneath the knees) are covered in segmented armorplast plates, with an armorweave underlay
Functions
Function 1: Armorweave Underlay
- Most often in the form of a heavy cape, pants, or underlay beneath armor, armor weave provides some protection against the penetrating effects of shrapnel from explosives and other unpowered high velocity impacts, with only a small amount of bleed through damage (bruising or very minor wounds). It offers no protection against kinetic impact or energy, vibroweapons, or similar "powered" weapons. Having more than one accessory (example: Cape + underweave) provides no additional effect.
