A com link huh? Lorcan held out a hand towards the insectoid Jedi to take the com link. Looking it over, he would admit that it looked quite similar to the ones that the Rangers used from time to time. As they were heading back to the bunker he attempted to access the functions of the com link.
It immediately zapped him and he dropped it quickly, cursing at the electrical burns across his fingers.
"They activated the locking system." he explain while shaking his hand, "Clever... didn't realize they had it in them to be so clever actually. Guess they're not entirely hopeless."
With confirmation from Corran that they weren't being tailed, he was confident that they were going to be assaulting the bunker after having fallen back to consolidate their forces. They had thrown themselves all-in with this attack and they could hardly afford to just let it go now that some of them weren't coming back from it.
The dude must have had one hell of an idea.
"Escort the package back to the bunker." he spoke over the com links, leaving them as he made off through the undergrowth to the side, "I'm going to the ship to see if I can't trigger a com-burst that might reach Onderon. A message is probably out of the question but I might be able to force a single communication through."
SOS was an incredibly easy signal to send after all.
Reaching the crashed ship, he marched up to the cockpit and began tearing some wires and skinning others. He cannibalized the cockpit quickly until he was able to attach it to the power supply for his blaster pistol. With the weaker power supply it barely lit up but he was still able to hit the SOS button before the power cut out.
"Alright SOS away - heading back to bunker."
