"Literally, oh my gods, words cannot describe how much I do. not. care." Laila's tongue practically lashed against the screen of her NalPhone, and her perfectly manicured nail hit the screen shortly thereafter as she hung up the call. Her pink lips pushed out into a pout, and she let out an audible and dramatic sigh as she crossed her arms and began to walk noticeably slower.

"Is there a problem, my lady?" The teen's escort, an older human woman dressed sharply in the black clothes of a butler, looked down and across at the princess almost on cue, her expression and tone unchanging and perfectly neutral. Laila's little fits were nothing new to her and had not been for some time.

"No, it's fine," Laila responded with another dramatic huff. Her escort hummed to acknowledge the child's response and turned to look back ahead. Of course, Laila was actually quite bothered, and the lack of a true response, as always, prompted her to actually answer the question. "It's just- okay, you remember Veronica, right? She LITERALLY will not stop bothering me with the most stupid, inane stuff I have literally ever heard. Like- " Laila paused to switch the intonation of her voice, mimicking the posh, high-pitched sound in which her so-called friend spoke in. "Like, OMG I totally got this new Bonheur bag for my birthday, and I'm like, soooo excited 'cause it literally just came out, and- "

"My lady, do you not also enjoy talking about your new bags?"

"WELL- " Laila was about to vehemently deny it, but she couldn't. She was one foot in the door of a designer bag store as her mouth opened. Her escort was right, she did talk about those same things, but her friend's conversations still all bothered and irked her just the same. She couldn't place why though, and it infuriated her. Actually, it pissed her off, and being the child she was, Laila placed her butler as the cause of that irritation. "Ugh, whatever! I'm going to the food court!"

Before the woman could object, Laila tightened her hand around the handle of her purse and stormed off, leaving the woman behind for Induparian takeover. "Extra spicy, please," she grumbled, handing her card over to the worker and getting it and her food back shortly after. She plopped herself down at a table hidden behind a wall and a line of potted plants and began shuffling her food around her tray with a plastic fork. Her tail whipped side to side, and only then did the flush in her pink skin begin to cool away.

Randy strode through the mall food court in his most natural state. Nal-ley Razor Blade Jawbreaker Sunglass -LIME GREEN-? Check. Red and white faux nerf-leather jacket with the pre-ripped popped collar? Check. Boombox? Of course, Randy was blasting "Big on Korraban" by former Sith rock group Omegaville; as if there was anything else to play, right? Double check that. But despite the two glop grenades expertly hidden in his blazing orange thong, Randy felt he was forgetting something important.

He'd remember it later.

Men stared as he walked by, women fainted, and children's eyes were covered. He winked at every single one of them, completely unfazed. Randy was a creature to be admired, after all. It was only natural for the weak willed and easily sexually swayed to be attracted to the raw power and charisma of one such as Randy. Moving up toward a food court, he snatched a grilled cheese panni off the counter and slapped the cook with a wink. That was payment enough for Randy.

Then, he spotted a young woman seemingly in distress over by a wall and a line of potted plants. Striding, dancing, popping and locking, Randy made his way over toward her. Turning the boombox down just enough to be heard properly, he plopped an elbow down on the table and spoke, "Gurl, what'sss got you down? Whatever that bitch sssaid, tell me~" While it had not dawned on Randy, it would be overtly apparent to Laila what he forgot. Randy wore his blazing orange thong, what he was wearing wasn't the problem, it was what he wasn't.

Randy was not wearing pants.

Laila was staring at her food, so she didn't notice Randy approaching until he was within her peripheral vision and there was no way she could miss someone so large approaching. There was also no way she could not hear the impending sound of music getting closer and closer.

She looked up just before he thumped his elbow onto the table, recoiling back a little as her personal space was invaded by a grown-ass Trandoshan man who- HE WASN'T WEARING ANY PANTS?

"Ew, ew, EW! Oh my gods PUT SOME PANTS ON!" Laila's distressed squeal caught the attention of everyone nearby who wasn't already cautiously watching the oddball approach the girl, and she followed up by nearly ripping her jean jacket from her arms and throwing it at the man. It was a pretty nice jacket - designer, in fact - but she would rather lose out on a piece of clothing she liked than be aware of this man's choice of underwear and lack of pants for any moment longer.

"Why would you come to a MALL with no pants on? Are you sick?" Her tongue lashed out against her teeth as she took several steps away from the man, completely unsure of his intentions and incredibly uncomfortable. "Just keep the jacket! And go put on so- " Shit, she still wanted her food. Laila quickly walked forward again, leaned over and grabbed her tray from the table, then took several steps back again. She was about to say something nasty and mean, evident by the way her lips curled back and her eye and brows furrowed forward, but she stopped. Why?

"YOU- Wait, is that a boombox?" The anger melted from her tone as her red eyes stared at the electronic device. She'd literally never seen one in person - they were so old, she wasn't even sure they'd been manufactured for hundreds of years!

A normal person probably would have reacted badly to being shouted at by the small horned woman, but Randy was no 'normal person.' Instead, he took it in stride and played off his wardrobe malfunction with a smile. "I enjoy the breezzze!" Then, accepting the snazzy jacket and tying it around his waist like a crude loincloth, the Trans Trando Mando snapped a wink at Laila before adding, "Thanksss for the amazzzing pantsss, I'll ussse them well."

But Randy also wasn't one to overstay his welcome, so as Laila came back to grab her food the Mandalorian turned to leave. However, at her remark about his amazing machine, the bass blaster 9000, he stopped. Grinning wildly, he set the massive object down on the table and clicked the next song. Cartel Down Under began playing as he responded, "Old Betty here? Thanksss, ssshe'sss the greatest lady in my life. Found her down on a Nar Ssshaddaa graveyard ssshift, bussstin' movesss and takin' namesss. I jussst had to have her~"

He was about to go into great detail about the specifications, he had modded most of them himself after getting his hands on Betty, when a handful of local mall security started making their way into the food court. Snatching up Betty and Laila, Randy announced, "We run! I don't know how but they found me! HAHAHAHA!" And, like a Mynock outta Korriban, Randy started running while slamming the next song on the machine. While he attempted to pull Laila along with him, he was not pulling hard enough to force her.

Essentially, if Laila wanted to, she could let herself get kidnapped. If nothing else, it'd be an adventure.

Laila couldn't help the look of disgust and disdain on her features - she wouldn't even if she could - but it was mixed with a large amount of curiosity. As much as this random Trandoshan looked like a walking hazard, she was strangely intrigued. So she didn't immediately storm away, and she dealt with his ramblings about the boombox she found interesting. After all, she kinda wanted that boombox, and she figured the best way to get it was to-

"HEY- WHAT?"

She blinked, distracted by the guards briefly, and all of a sudden she was slung over this stranger's shoulder as he ran to evade the guards.

"PUT ME DOWN!"

Her little fists hit his chest and her legs kicked behind her, but in reality, she was just putting on a show. She was still pissed off at her butler, she'd been bored as hell up until this moment. If anything, he'd serve as a bit of entertainment until she got bored. She only had a few regrets as she looked behind her and saw her tray of food grow smaller and smaller.
