With the explosion coming from the barn with a small fireball following as the residual blasts of the speeders cooking off, Wyatt had already rolled out from his cover. Braced himself in a firm firing position and was only waiting for the explosion, having taken aim at the dar'manda sitting around playing cards Wyatt had the flank of one clad in heavy beskar and placed a shot into his side roughly at the top of the ribcage and bottom of the left pectoral intending for a killing blow. Where the beskar didn't cover was the only place they could land killing blows quickly and he hoped the team knew it too.

His attack only left him exposed from the rock momentarily as his yellow energy bolt joined in the sky with his partner Galaar's as their shriek-hawks allowed them the surprise attack. Rolling in behind the rock again Wyatt followed Galaar and queued his comms when he finished "Heavy armor on them, be careful." was all Wyatt could say as the duo had left their position before knowing what Aks-ree would do in retaliation. Covering the other 25 meters with his partner Wyatt mounted his 88-V Ranger just after his partner turned it on for him, letting his shriek-hawk hang on its sling at his chest as he queued his comms one last time. "Status report, you two alive?" @Ecclessey @Insalius @Phoenix

The explosion offered the expected glow and familiar view of their surroundings, thus Narr made an effort to take good cover behind a large rock and check his weapons and powerpacks again. All of it survived the dash to safety, which was good because he knew he'd have to use them soon. "Galaar, Wyatt-" he whispered into his comms as he looked to see if Skylar had come out of the explosion alright as well, "-we need overwatch. What's happening?" The only response he got was the warning that Aks-Ree's gang was wearing heavy beskar'gam and the unmistakable sound of blaster fire. Kriff, seemed like his posse didn't consist of the most experienced Mandalorians after all.

Benefitting from the long shadows that the rocks and trees made due to the barnfire's lights, Narr slowly began to make his way around back to the speeders when he heard an unfamiliar voice coming from the darkness, "Skull Two, reporting in. No sign of hostiles." Kriff, again. He had only been a ranger for four years, but Narr knew that when people wore heavy armor and communicated over comms with military discipline and callsigns that they weren't new to combat. Unbeknownst to Aks-Ree, however, was that a thirty second spoken check-in was sooner to betray the enemies to the patrols than the patrols to the enemy. It was for that reason that Narr was quickly able to surmise that the patrol, or "Skull Two" consisted of three heavily armored Mandalorians that made their location known by their heavy footfalls.

Narr waited for them to pass his position, knowing that Skylar would follow his lead, and only when he had a clear line of sight on all three did he make his move. Barely coming out of cover, he'd fire a slug from his bowcaster into the spine of the first bandit. At the range of ten meters he'd only survive if he received prompt medical help, but as the shot was aimed at his spine he would most likely never walk again even if they managed to save him. Whatever came next would be crucial in his own and Skylar's survival as speed was everything. After tanking the bowcaster's recoil, Narr let go of the weapon with his right hand and quickly took his DH-7 to hand, aiming it at the furthest bandit and firing twice mid-torso. He would be barely turning around, most likely still having to search for Narr's silhouette, when the bolts would hit him. Narr only hoped that Skylar could mirror his actions and take out one and fire at the third.

Timing was off the essence and if their surprise attack succeeded, Narr would take one of the bandit's comm units and dash away from the scene.

Skylar had been trained for this kind of thing his whole life, so he knew how to keep his cool and act like the soldier and warrior his parents had wanted him to be. He stealthily followed Narr to their hiding place, making sure to keep out of sight of the enemy however they appeared. Behind the rock, as Narr listened in on the patrol, Skylar readied his blaster rifle and waited for the moment to attack. Following his companion's lead, he slipped out of cover just enough to get a bead and fire on the middle of the three patrolling enemies. Firing at the same time as Narr's bowcaster, he would send two shots into the back of the middle man's torso, which should have been enough to burn through the armor and slay him before he even knew what happened. Once done firing his shots, he would move his aim to the farthest of the three and fire at the same point on that man, in the back of the torso. As he didn't need to drop his weapon for a new one, his own shots should have connected at the same time that Narr's shots did. Between the two of them, the three patrolling foes should have died within seconds of the pair opening fire on them, all while at least partially behind the cover of the large rock. As he fired, Skylar made sure to keep attention on his surroundings as well as if anyone was trying to aim for his companion. Even though he was a wolf, he wasn't a lone wolf, and he would do his best to have his comrades come out alive from this. If this patrol died from their assault, as planned, then he would follow Narr's dash to get out of the area before any reinforcements came to investigate the sudden blaster fire.

With the detonation going off, the distance between Galaar (@Gian Greydragon), and the slow speed with which he lined up his shots, by the time his shot would have connected with the sitting gang member, he’d already made his way into cover. The pisser, however, wasn’t quite so lucky. He took a grazing shot across his torso, shredding the armor, but otherwise keeping him mostly in tact as he scrambled back. It was a good thing he had just emptied his bladder or it might have been done inside of his armor. He ran back, hoping for cover from his fellow gang members as he made for the makeshift perimeter and behind the cover of a large stone.

Wyatt (@Rimrald) found slightly better luck. While the distance once more came into play, his bolt, while it wasn’t an immediate kill, managed to strike his target in the chest piece, causing the guard to stumble back and fall to the ground with a scream. He began the crawl back toward the house, clutching at his chest and dropping his rifle. The pain was agonizing, and he began to wonder if this was what dying felt like, but his armor had at least managed to stave off death… for the moment.

As for Skull Two, things were… mixed results. Soldiers on patrol weren’t merely unidirectionally focused, and to assume as much was to put oneself in deadly peril. There was always a man watching the rear. The darkness wasn’t so dark with a barn burning only about 30 meters away, and a shot from a bowcaster was all the more a beacon to fire at. As soon as Narr (@Ecclessey) moved out of cover - brief as it may have been - one of the gangsters dressed in blue armor spotted him and sent a blaster bolt through the air, letting the rifle shot and the bowcaster shot pass in the air.

Narr’s first shot found purchase in the back of one of the men, sending him to the ground crippled as intended, but even as the shot was firing, a gunshot streaked in for Narr’s chest before he had even finished aiming at the now-wounded Mandalorian, and at 10 meters with his focus on firing at the other gangster, he had all but no chance to dodge or evade the shot. Blue was already moving to cover as he fired, calling out the contact over the radio. The shots Blue fired would likely prevent Narr from firing, but even if it didn’t, he was already slipping into cover before a full transition of weapons and aim could complete or Skylar could acquire him as a target.

Blue’s second shot was sent at Skylar (@Insalius), just as he was completing his attack on the first guard he shot at. Two full shots meant two seconds, and if Blue was lucky, he would manage to hit his target halfway through his second shot… in other words, when he was unable to defend himself from the shot that should find purchase in his torso.

Skylar from his cover would find both his shots successfully land in the third Mandalorian, sending him to the ground dead. Crippled man was also crawling along toward a tree, reaching into his belt as he moaned and groaned in pain. Help. We’ve… been… attacked… he gasped into his comlink as well.

Skylar's satisfaction over the kill he'd made was short lived, as he took a blast to the chest from one of the others of the patrol. His armor was able to absorb the blow, yet only just barely. His chest burned, the smell of burnt fur telling the Mandalorian that his chest had been wounded, though the pain was minimal. He'd live to fight another day, but he couldn't take another hit to the chest and do so, going forward. Getting back behind cover, he grabbed his commlink to make a quick decision. "Narr and I are pinned down about 22 meters from the forest-side of the barn, in the forest itself. Behind a big rock. If you can, please assist." They needed to all work together now, especially since most of their stealth was now gone. For now, though, he had to take out the one known as Blue.

Having seen where the blaster bolt that had hit him had come from, Skylar prepared to fire on that position in the hopes that Narr could flank the man and take him out. He fired carefully, sending one bolt out before pausing in case he was fired on, dodging as needed, before continuing to fire. He was on high guard now, keeping his senses open in case there were other men coming up or Blue tried to move and target someone else. Hopefully Narr or one of the others could take out the last scout so they could slip back into stealth and away from where the other enemies knew where they were. Hopefully his message as to their position would help.

The was a moment there when Narr thought the intense discomfort on his chest was all the bowcaster's recoil, but when he lost his footing and noticed the difficulty he experienced breathing despite the adrenaline pumping, he knew he was hit. Fortunately no other shots by the remaining patrolman came his way, or found its target thanks to Narr's cover, and thus the Sector Ranger was just able to see the heavy beskar'gam wearing bandit slit into cover. Immediately, the Shivastenen came into action and with his DH-7 Blaster Pistol in his right hand moved to flank. Thanks to "Blue" having an impaired view from cover and getting suppressed by Skylar, Narr was able to benefit greatly from the already chaotic scene and jumped behind cover when he reached a clear line of sight of the Mandalorian's flank. This increased his own distance with the barn and thus of the possible incoming reinforcements and allowed him the best possible view of incoming danger. Making sure he wasn't seen by his target, Narr aimed his blaster pistol and fired once against the back of "Blue's" helmet. That alone was enough to cause serious injury and would incapacitate him if not even knock him unconscious.

Now more factors became part of the equation. The barn was up in flames for about thirty seconds, meaning the gust of the explosion had settled and in its place came the steady fire that send smoke into the surrounding forest and high up into the sky. Together with the natural darkness of the night and the rugged terrain untouched by civilized men of means, the whole ordeal would soon turn into a survival-show HoloNet Drama instead of a lone ranger flick that had an assured good ending. Ranger Noft was already having difficulty breathing due to bruised ribs and he wasn't even close to the heroic stand-off with Aks-Ree that he had imagined.

Sitting on his 88-V Ranger flanking Galaar, Wyatt listened to the comm channel open as they'd set their vehicles to the same short range net as their personal communicators; it seemed in all of the commotion of the barn erupting and their own attack they'd missed the other half of their force coming into contact with trouble. With a location roughly around where he'd assumed they ended up after their sabotage Wyatt looked to Galaar before saying "Let's move, we'll go around the back side of the ridge we scouted on earlier and push to their position in the tree line."

Without any other words Wyatt spun the armed speeder to its right and cranked the throttle over the mostly open terrain behind the ridge, allowing them to pass without view from the farmstead. The duo would be able to cover the majority of the distance with large amounts of speed as the terrain was only dotted with trees and rocks until the forest line began to form ahead of them. Wyatt would lead the duo reducing speed to a quick but navigable speed through the more wooded area using the high maneuvering characteristics of these craft to his advantage to reach the other half of the team, arriving after they had likely dealt with 'blue'.

Wyatt would poise his bike to keep Narr and Skylar on his left, putting them in between the barns direction and himself. He was scanning in the woods, the direction the other three man team would likely be coming from, although Wyatt does not know their location he remembered there being a sizeable group of men at the homestead last he saw. It was safe to assume there would be a search team looking to bring the group in to be dealt with by Aks-ree; so he had his bike ready listening for movement over the low idle of the ion engines and would turn the headlights on the craft on at the first sound of the heavy armor clad foes approach in order to both disorient and illuminate the targets for his bounty hunting companions.

Blue popped out once more and fired toward Skylar (@inalius) but they were little more than pot shots. The two exchanged fire with neither of them hitting until eventually a blaster discharge occurred directly behind his head. For the briefest flash he thought he'd been hit by a sledgehammer and he buckled forward, facing landing in the mud. Darkness consumed him and he reached up to rub the mud from his visor only to discover the darkness wasn't from anything on his head. It was the impending darkness that slowly consumed his vision and then this world was no more of a concern to him and never would be again.

Cripple, meanwhile, had made it behind a tree, grasping the orb in his left hand and grabbing the straps on his legs with his right to try to swing them into cover. Growing concern over his complete inability to feel or move either of his lower extremities turned to panic and he continued to speak into his comlink, now much more quietly. 20 meters from the shed... at least two... everyone else is dead... he said, relaying their position before finally losing consciousness.

Skull One heard the call out and began moving with greater urgency toward the site of the attack, no longer continuing with their call ins and still being careful not to make too much noise as they pushed through the forests. They would be on the group, but not for several moments more, slowed even more by the pace they took to avoid being heard. They weren't going to give away their position that easily. The next move, however, was up to the aggressors. Aks-Ree was quite aware of the precarious position he stood in, but he wasn't yet shaken. @Ecclessey @Insalius @Rimrald @Gian Greydragon

Narr had dashed into action immediately after firing his shot and took the communications unit "Blue" had been using to communicate with Aks-Ree back in the homestead. He was lucky, because his own shot against the helmet hadn't destroyed it and with Skull One not being close enough to spot them yet, Narr ran off as fast and as quiet as Shistavanenly possible. "Regroup at the speeders-" he sighed into his own comm unit to his posse when he was sure he'd be out of ear-shot of any Red Skull gangmembers. He knew Skylar was following close behind him and appreciated the fellow Shivastenen's loyalty towards his team.

It'd be folly for Skull One to follow them all the way out to the speeders, which put a considerable distance between them and possible reinforcements. Narr knew this, but still when his speeder came in sight he diverted course and hid among a couple of rocks. From his position he would be able to see any of Aks-Ree's men that would have followed them this far. Here he took a breather and manually reloaded his bowcaster. Kriff, his ribs were killing him and he was wheezing with deep breaths, which after his fifty meter dash was all he wanted and needed to do to catch his breath. It took him about ten seconds of deep breathes to get semi-comfortable again and focus on the task at hand, "Galaar, get in overwatch, if you see anything I want to know."

Being careful about staying in cover from the direction of the homestead, Narr took the looted comm unit in his right hand and examined it closely. It wasn't made by grans, that much was sure. No, the design was unmistakenly Mandalorian and judging from the men they just encountered it was clear that the Mandalorian Houses had more to deal with than just their Imperial overlords. Sighing one last time and then taking a deep breath, Narr opened the comm line to the Red Skull Gang. "Red Skull Gang-" he paused, giving them a moment to pause whatever they were doing to listen, but he didn't let go of the send button and kept the line one-way. "-this is Narr Noft of the Sector Rangers. Your vehicles are no more and before the sun rises my posse and I will be on our way to Mandalore with your bodies bagged up. That is-" he paused again, unwilling to divert all his focus to the comm unit, his eyes were actively searching in the darkness. "-House Kryze is offering you a deal. All of you are free to go, and raid in Imperial space if you so desire-" he detested that offer, but his employer had been clear about the goal of his mission. "-except for Aks-Ree. I have men watching the homestead who will relay to me your answer."

Then he finally let go of the send button and muffled the speaker so that only he could hear them if they opened the line on the other end. If the Red Skull Gang truly consisted of real Mandalorians then the offer for them to raid freely in Imperial space would be something they just couldn't pass up. War apparently gave more room for deals and pardons with raiders and pirates. Narr detested it, but he understood the logic.

Wyatt couldn’t understand why he’d just raced through the forest, alone, to help the others when they’d ended up picking off the last man and turning to retreat. It was cowardly in his mind, not to be deceptive as deception is cunning and a warrior needs a sharp mind and keen combat competency. But to turn from a fight they most certainly could win at this time and point was beyond him, but he had zero interest in being overrun by a reactionary force.

Turning the bike around making sure to keeps the trees between where he assumed the enemy would come from and himself; Wyatt retraced his path at a speed far greater than the two cat men and returned to Galaars location. Turned his bike off with the rest of them and produced his shriekhawk before quietly and in a low stance under the darkness moving up the backside of the ridge. Resting his weapon on the crest of the hilled side and keeping his eyes open for anyone approaching from the left side of the farmstead and the open ground before them; the cat men had the right flank and he had the left all that was needed now was for Galaar to do his part.

It was a good thing Narr was handling the strategy, as the distracting pain from the blaster shot to his chest wasn't letting Skylar think as sharply as usual. Still, he was more than capable of keeping an eye on his comrade's back. He moved with Narr, as silently as possible, and kept his weapon leveled and his eyes peeled for any enemies. He would run with Narr, also taking cover behind the rock away from sight of the homestead. As he caught his breath he peeked out just enough to keep an eye on the homestead, his weapon at the ready but his intent just to keep an eye on things. It would be hard for him to be seen, though he was ready to peek back in case of danger. For now, he would wait and respond as necessary.

Galaar had decided to move around the ridge, to a new vantage point, atop the ridge, pulling up just before he crested the hill, and let his speeder idle, quietly. He looked through his scope, and kept an eye on the homestead, scanning the area for Aks-Ree, or any of his lieutenants. His new position had pushed him forward to about 75 meters from the homestead, and well within view of the home, the group of thugs outside, and the woods behind them. Given his new vantage point, he could see the movements of the thugs, whether they'd planned to make some kind of escape attempt, or move on their comrades in the woods.

"I've got eyes, jist tell me who ta shoot 'n' when. Over." he called out, to his comrades, through comms.

Git chirped on from the speeder, and moved low, using his ground-based locomotion to move up to Galaar, he chirped, asking if he could help.

"Yeah, make yo' way 'round the bend, 'n' try to scout out 'at other team in tha woods, help Narr and Skylar out a bit," he said. With a chirp, to confirm, Git activated his repulsorlifts, behind the crest of the hill, and zipped off toward Skylar and Narr's position, scanning the woods for any bodies he hadn't registered in his memory. He couldn't fight for them, but he could at least provide a distraction when they found them.

Aks-Ree's rage grew as he heard the offer made over the radio. Cowardly, and he knew that his men weren't so loyal as to turn it down. Some wouldn't, of course, namely his two closest guards dressed in their red and yellow armor for their position in the gang. The gang that was going to be finished soon. If he survived this, he swore he would hunt down every one of them and cut them to pieces. It was this brutality that made so many of them... questionably loyal.

Skull one certainly didn't stick around. They recognized that they had been the ones sent out to die, and their pursuit came to a swift end. Pisser had had such a close call with death that his interest in staying around wavered as well and suddenly he was gone. One by one the remaining soldiers began to drift into the darkness until all that was left was Red, Yellow, the wounded soldier who didn't feel up to long travel in the dark and uneven terrain, and Aks-Ree himself.

And of course the hostage.

Aks-Ree hadn't earned his brutal reputation on accident, however. Nor had he earned his exceptional reputation as a warrior and duelist. You're a brazen one, Narr Noft, he voice came out on the other end. How do your Sector Ranger overlords value a life? he asked.

I don't know how many men you've brought with you, but surely you must know of Mandalorian traditions. Perhaps you'd care to settle this the old way? he asked. The Mandalorians in the party would certainly know that such a challenge was a one-to-one man duel in melee combat, though which of the group would accept - or if they would accept at all - was up to the bounty hunters. Or else surely her life will weigh on your conscience, he said, holding the comlink up to the woman's mouth to the sound of her crying. @Ecclessey @Insalius @Rimrald @Gian Greydragon

Narr couldn't believe his luck when even he could clearly see most of the infamous Red Skull Gang choosing freedom and their life over capture and imprisonment. He knew now that his only targets would be those that were still inside the homestead, which meant that they had Aks-Ree cornered. "Encircle the homestead, keep aim on all windows for movement." he told his posse through their shared comm line, "Keeping hidden in the dark." He didn't want them to step into the light and become easy targets for Aks-Ree and whoever else was still inside the homestead.

Narr himself now began to approach the homestead again, but slower this time on account of his bruised ribs. It was at this moment, when Aks-Ree replied on the stolen comm line and Narr was glad he had decided to mute the traffic from the rest of his group. His heart sank when he heart a woman's crying. A sound that wasn't noticably coming from the homestead, despite him knowing that's where Aks-Ree was holed up. The good walls of the homestead meant he could hide this exchange from the rest of the posse. Still, he replied, "You're a fool if you think that wouldn't just add thirty years to your sentence-" he paused, but didn't relent on the send button, "-Oyakar Kryze wouldn't have send outsiders if he wanted to give you the honor of being able to die in combat." Another pause, less deliberate as Narr was seriously considering whether he should say the next, "You and yours will sit beside Arasuum and watch how inaction dulls your fitness and skills. You will grow old in isolation, shamed by your people and unable to follow the Resol'nare." That would be the fate of Aks-Ree, former leader of the Red Skull Gang.

By now the homestead had come in range of his DH-7 Blaster Pistol and Narr began to circle around it, going from cover to cover until he had a good view of the front door. The pistol was set to stun and its aim would be solidly on Aks-Ree when he decided to show himself. He wasn't happy with the prospect of potentially condemning the civilian to death, but he wasn't a fool either. A trap was easily set and Mandalorian warriors were both male and female. The woman crying could've been one of the few loyal warriors that stood by Ask-Ree. No, Narr would not have this entire operation botched because he couldn't keep a clear head.

Not having a commslink of his own to hear the conversation between Narr and Aks-Ree, he would not be influenced by the sounds of a woman crying, nor the challenge to an honorable fight, which Galaar likely would have more than likely foolishly accepted in that particular moment. He also saw those few guards outside the homestead drop their weapons and leave the premises, after coming to the realization that this was a futile fight, and Aks-Ree was a goner. Galaar would pick up himself and chime his droid, 'Git' to return to him, as he made his way, on foot, but not before cutting the power to his own speeder, and leaving it out of sight. Galaar detested the prospect of letting this scumbag live, but it was necessary, as he needed to answer for his crimes in the court of law.

Moving, deliberately, through the darkness of the valley, to the grounds of the homestead, he kept an eye in his scope, scanning between the windows in the front of the home, before rejoining Narr behind cover.

"I kin send Git in ta git eyes awn 'im, if you want," he said, in a whisper, to Narr. Jaws were clamped down around the neck of the Red Skull Gang, all that they needed now was a death roll to finish the job. Galaar would also be considering a new livelihood, after seeing the honor in Narr's profession. His newfound respect for the Sector Rangers and Narr would be enough to at least be available to work with him again, frequently, in the future.

With negotiations presumably underway Wyatt was up on the ridge with Galaar as the darkness fully set in and his helmets vision modes began to cycle on behind the T visor. He could see the majority of the crew that were within the homesteads boundaries deliberate and in groups head away into the night from whatever threat or promise was given to them. He assumed that the other patrol team out in the woods was likely doing the same as the first group was dealt with; scanning the homesteads boundaries he would pick up sight of a lone bandit who chose to stay.

The only immediate threat as he knew of beyond Aks-ree who made his presence known in the homestead earlier. The instruction to push up was given and Wyatt kept pace with Galaar who was moving low and slow, a smarter man than he sounded was his judgement the longer Wyatt had been working with him. Keeping to his left put Wyatt farthest to the left of the group who would be moving to make sure each side of the property was covered. Wyatt would find his cover on a corner of the property, having made sure to not disturb any loud objects on his approach and his light armor keeping him rather quiet; he would have stored his shriekhawk on the bike before approaching and taken his bowcaster.

Aiming it while resting on the fence post he would be on an angle thus having a straight on view of the houses front left corner, keeping him from direct view of a window but having the front and left sides of the house and farmstead covered. Looking for the remaining guard on the exterior he would take his shot center mass with the heavily damaging weapon if the man ever produced himself into view. Wyatt would be keeping extra alert through the approach and setup if anyone moved about into view within the house; ready to react to a situation changing.

Skylar couldn't hear the exchange either, though that wasn't important. Whatever Narr did seemed to have an effect, as he could see some of the enemy depart from the homestead. Perhaps now things were more even, though it would be folly to drop his guard now. That would be the most foolish of things he could do.

He followed Narr up to his position of cover, moving silently and keeping pace. The man was injured, so he would need some support if the firefight started again. He kept his blaster rifle ready to fire, trained on the doorway. If they needed to attack, Skylar would be ready. He just wanted this to end. He would keep his guard up in case an enemy or attack came from a different angle than the door he was covering.

Very well, and so it would be for the whole galaxy to find out. Send this, he said, using the time while the hunters closed in. If Aks-Ree's life was going to end, the hunter's lives would be over as well. The wounded Mandalorian held up his datapad to record and stream what was happening to holonet news stations. They ate up this grotesque vomit for its shock factor, and it would have serious repercussions for the Sector Rangers and for the Detective on the case. Meanwhile, Aks-Ree's comlink was still active to Nar Noft and friends so they could watch what was going to happen. If they took the visual feed, they would see only a picture of the woman strapped to a chair, her face was beaten and she was crying with a staff near her neck.

Detective Noft has decided that this woman's life is less important than his own life. I gave him the opportunity to fight me man to man and save her life. He chose not to, Aks-Ree said to the camera as his electroripper staff buzzed to life and hovered just next to the woman's throat as she began to scream and cry. Everyone on holonet was going to see what happened to her if the hunters continued. Aks-Ree was going to have blood today one way or another.

Meanwhile, upstairs, Yellow and Red had set up a pair of makeshift barricades for themselves in the house with views of the door that only their rifle barrels pointed through. The lights of the room had already been dimmed and they simply waited for the breach on either door or window. And they didn't move. Nothing to draw gunfire toward the pair, and a rapid breach would only result in the woman's death faster. @Ecclessey @Insalius @Rimrald @Gian Greydragon

Wyatt had certainly taken a good position as his presence had gone unnoticed by the men held up inside. Wyatt would queue his comm link as a transmission request came over, ignoring the open line Wyatt began to speak to his team as he creeped toward the window from the side keeping out of a firing lane. "If we get up on the windows and the door, we can get a ton of ordinance in there and take him and whoever else in there in mostly one piece.." Wyatt said as he had pulled a grenade from his bandoleer and pulled the pin, sending it through the front window with a crash. The CZ Riot Gas would be his surprise for those hiding in the home as a last stand, it would begin spitting out the gas and rapidly filling the confined space. Wyatt signaled to the others to follow suit and offer any ordinance they could muster to flush out those hiding inside. After throwing the grenade in he would keep away from the window as he only needed to be near its side to get a good angle; he’d then move to look for a back door or alternate way in making sure to move underneath and windows he may pass.

Narr frowned, "Detective?" wooff, at least it wouldn't blow back on the ranger service. He wasn't about to go back on his word or his contract just because Aks-Ree threatened to kill a woman, which he would've done anyway. The DH-7 Blaster Pistol in his hand was pointing in the general direction of the homestead and being set to stun, the Shistavanen ranger was ready to shoot Aks in the face with it. He wasn't sure what Aks-Ree was thinking, upping his sentence from spice dealing to proven live-streamed murder, but Narr couldn't really care at this point either. Criminals were stupid. That was a conclusion he had found again and again when taking down gangs much like that of Aks-Ree. Apparently the Gran didn't even know that with the technology of the current age a message with a comm unit like his wouldn't be carried out of the sector and probably even get stuck on Gargon.

Ships and facilities had comm units that could carry a message out across the galaxy, but they were much too heavy for an individual to carry around. But while Narr sat safely behind cover he was able to think about all of this, how far the signal would carry or the repercussions this had for Aks-Ree's sentencing, he realized he wasn't all too worried or concerned with the woman.

Kriff. When did he stop caring?
