Since taking command over her own Nesuto class carrier - the Aadya hadn't really spent much time on it or getting to know its crew and had spent the past several days rectifying that. Her promotion to champion had afforded Aadya numerous benefits and she intended to make full use of what the Empire had given her.

Aadya was in her private quarters, her attention drifting between staring idly out the viewport at the streaking lines of hyperspeed and the datapad she had in her hand. The datapad was filled primarily with information she'd gathered about the state of Terminus, which was where they were headed. Terminus was unique in that it sat at a cross section of two very busy trade routes, and as such the amount of traffic - and the amount of credits, among other things - that moved through it were incredibly high.

It could be a very important holding for the Empire, but more importantly it could be somewhere Aadya could begin building a base of power of her own. If she were ever going to advance in the Empire Aadya was going to need much, much more than simply what she was given. It was time to take something for herself. Glancing at her chrono, Aadya knew they would be arriving very shortly.

Meet me near the shuttle, Altair. Be ready to go. She said over the comm the two shared, her tone soft but still authoritative. This was the first time Aadya had ever had rank above another Sith and she was still feeling out what kind of Champion she would ultimately be.

As she headed for the shuttle, Aadya felt the carrier drop out of hyperspace. It would cruise uninterrupted into Terminus' atmosphere, heading for a location just outside of its largest spaceport. The fighter squadrons would deploy and begin engaging in screens, taking out any ships parked below.

Once inside the shuttle with Altair, Aadya would take out her datapad again as they took off.

Our target is this large compound operated by the Guavian Death Gang, She said, handing the datapad to Altair. It had a display of the compound on its screen along with some other information. They're the de facto rulers of Terminus and have a hand in almost all of the shit that goes on here. While the troops engage and keep the bulk of the gang distracted, we're going to assault the compound with a small strike team. There's likely at least a couple subterrenean levels, which is where we'll find Ahgba Dyss, who is our primary target. We take him out and we've effectively removed the head from the snake. The body will writhe and die shortly after.

As the shuttle neared the compound, Aadya glanced at Altair, her eyebrow raised slightly. I'll be watching you, lets see what those horns can do.

Their shuttle along with several others touched down near the compound, letting loose Aadya's personal platoon on the still scrambling gang members. Firefights broke out immediately and felt the adrenaline of battle course through her veins.

Igniting her lightsaber, she began to make her way towards the compound, slicing through a few gangsters that attempted to engage her with vibroswords.

Altair was more than a little nervous about his first serious world taking mission. He had only heard about the Champion Aadya and most of the rumors suggested she was a certified badass. Apparently she went into multiple battles next to the likes of Councilor Stolas and the now Dark Lord Raze. The tiefling was texting back and forth with his bro Cairo almost the entire time, the two exchanging tips for missions since the Morellian had been on several by now.

He had to actively play it cool when he knew Aadya was about to arrive in the shuttle he came in. Since this was his first official mission, he was only given a standard issue uniform. He did not have a weapon on him, only his matukai gauntlets. When Aadya strode in, he stood up straight and at attention. His violet gaze took in sight of her, respectfully bowing his head in greeting as she entered.

When offered, Altair took the datapad and quickly scanned over it, attempting to memorize the compound schematics as best as he could. He read up on their target in silence and quietly handed the datapad back. The tiefling nodding in response to what she said but he paused for a moment to look at her, “I’m Altair,” He said with a smile, extending his hand to formally introduce himself even if she knew his name from the mission briefing.

After they were ready to go, Altair watched as Aadya led the way off the shuttle. He quickly whipped out his comlink, appearing as if he were intently looking something up for the mission. Instead he was texting Cairo again to drop a brag. (@Fine Dining Set )

Bro you didn’t tell me Aadya is a fuckin’ baddie. Trynna pipe this down yo.

Sent with all the confidence and swagger in the galaxy by a teen way out of his element.

Back to reality, he quietly shuffled behind the Champion, channeling the Force to himself. He saw the action all around them, a fight already breaking out at the front of the compound. Altair quickly joined the fray, using the Force to yank two defenders off the roof of the compound to prevent them from shooting. The very simple gesture resulted in a sick crunch as both men fell to their deaths. Altair stared with wide eyes for a bit, but he couldn’t linger on that too long. He quickly focused his attention away, jumping into the fray as a man came at him with a vibroknife.

The tiefling was agile for his build, thwacking the blade away with his gauntlet as he whirled in with a Force imbued punch with his right fist. The fist collided harshly, immediately shattering the man’s face and sending him stumbling back. He took a few steps back and dropped to the ground.

“Will Dyss attempt to escape or hold his ground?” Altair quickly spoke into the shared channel. They certainly didn’t have the element of surprise at this point, so did their target getting away fail the mission?

It was clear that most of these pirates were not familiar with fighting a force user. Aadya was able to fend them off while still watching how Altair took to the fight. She'd never seen a Sith use their own fists over a lightsaber in a fight like this, but she also couldn't argue with the results. There was probably something intimately cathartic about knocking someone's teeth out over slicing their arm off.

Dyss is a stubborn piece of shit, he'll try to hold his ground for awhile, Aadya replied, finding a moment of respite between killing pirates.

Pausing for a moment, Aadya lashed out with the force to grab one pirate and use him to shoot another, before sending him flying into a wall. We also have a carrier hovering overhead. Dyss's chances seem bleak either way.

Aadya's attention was suddenly pulled towards the complex as a large door opened and the thunderous sound of metal legs thumping on the ground echoed around them. It was an AD-DT walker, its main gun firing into a group of Troopers and vaporizing them with ease.

Fuck. Aadya said, her tone clearly annoyed. We have to flank it. You might have to get creative if you don't have a lightsaber. Try not to get blasted in the face.

Taking off towards the AD-DT, Aadya hoped her saber would draw the pilot's attention, and give Altair an opening to do... something that wasn't just punching it.

Altair glanced over as Aadya pointed out the newest threat on the field. He grimaced as he saw the walker, hearing the Champion’s suggestions. He had to fight to keep from rolling his eyes. The galaxy was so damn ignorant about Matukai. He kept his thoughts to himself for now.

“Roger,” He said curtly, “Keep it focused on you,” The tiefling said simply as he rushed to the side and towards the walker. With his gauntlets, he slapped away the bolt that came his way every now and then. The walker was entirely focused on any vehicles or counter troops, ignoring the sole acolyte sneaking towards it. As he rushed towards the walker, Altair enhanced himself with the Force, calling upon all his teachings to focus all his power to his fists. The Force was a part of him, his limbs his weapons. He needed nothing more.

Altair quickly studied the walker, recalling his courses on Imperial walker anatomy. He had to redo his homework a few times since his schematics drawings were abysmal and he largely copied off Cairo. However, it certainly hammered in how bipedal walkers worked. The tiefling had to rely on Aadya and other Imperials to keep the weapons focused.

The tiefling sprang into the air, grasping a hold of one of the legs. He easily climbed his way up, his hands free of any weapons. He kept moving up till he spotted his target. With him being directly under the walker, it had no knowledge of him being on it. Altair channeled the Force into his fist and slammed it directly into the gyroscopic stabilizer serving at the hip joint. The first hit, enhanced by the gauntlet, landed a huge dent. He reared his fist back as the walker began to take another step, whirling in with another heavy slam. This tore right through the stabilizer, knocking it out of place. As the walker had been mid step, this caused it to abruptly wobble and completely lose balance. Without warning, the behemoth of a vehicle began to slowly drop forward and plummet towards the ground.

As it fell, Altair grasped onto the side of the leg, hoisting himself up to half run up the side of the walker in the opposite direction of its fall. The walker’s head faceplanted directly on the ground, facing towards Aadya. The guns were operational, but it could no longer turn its head and it was stuck where it landed. Everything was paused for a moment as the crew was in shock from the fall. By the time it landed, Altair was perched atop the side of the head, taking a moment to give Aadya a wink before he dropped out of sight to engage the very angry crew that spilled out with their guns.

Aadya continued to close in on the walker, deftly maneuvering around the shots that were sent her way. The walker had a lot of troops to contend with so it's attention wasn't just entirely focused on her. Before Aadya could reach the thing and start carving it into pieces, Altair had more than beaten her to the.. uh, punch.

She stopped and watched him take on the walker with just his fists. He moved like a technician and with skill that Aadya would have assumed was beyond him. It had been a very, very long time since she had been truly impressed. As it began to topple over from Altair's sheer strength, Aadya began to move again, looking to help him clean up the troops that were spilling out.

As she came up behind Altair, Aadya would reach out with the force and yank on the gun of one of the troops that had taken aim at him. The blaster redirected shot would whizz mere inches from Altair's head and slam into another pirate, killing him instantly.

Look alive, Altair! She teased, although she had just saved him from having his head blown off so perhaps it wasn't the joking time. We can clean these guys up and use that open hanger door to get inside. The troops should be able to keep them occupied so we don't get followed in.

Swinging her saber, Aadya removed the head of a nearby pirate before kicking another one a few meters into the durasteel sides of the walker. There were still a few people left to take care of, which she figured Altair could handle. Once that was done, Aadya would head for the hanger and the real hunt for Dyuss could begin.
