SIEGE OF MALACHOR
"What does it mean to be a Jedi?
To some, it means a life of purpose, of sacrifice. To others, it means servitude, the will to fight for something greater than ourselves. For others still, it means devotion, the dedication to repel the Dark Side's return, in whatever form it might take. Then there are those to which it means faith. Faith in the Light and the will of the Force that drives them.
Across the galaxy, a war is waged through the Force. The power of the Dark Side grows as the Light ebbs and wanes, and as it grows, so does the strength of the Sith. And should the Darkness overwhelm us all, the galaxy will descend into another dark age. For the sake of all life, the Force must not be allowed to fall out of balance. Corruption can taint even that which is purest and most sacred—so it has ever been with the Dark Side.
If the shadows are to be repelled, then we must learn to wield our powers as a cleansing light, purging the miasma that scars the Force. The time has now come for the crusaders of the Jedi to raise our blades to Malachor, the dark world. Can you become a beacon that lights the way, burning away the darkness of the long night?

BRAVE THE STORM
"Storm Beasts. Terrible, deformed abominations that had been induced into an unknowable and wretched state. Whatever these life forms once were has been lost to time, thousands of years ago. Now, these creatures are but aggressive monstrosities, brutally twisted by the Dark Side's corruption and transformed into ravenous creatures.
Stalking Malachor's surface and subterranean regions in groups, the Storm Beast packs are each led by a single, powerful specimen with white scales and long frontal horns, called an alpha. The Army of Light has established a beachhead on Malachor, but our forces have come under repeated attack by a particularly large pack of Storm Beasts. Wiping the creatures out outright would only deepen the Dark Side's hold on Malachor, but these aberrations must be driven away until a more permanent base can be established.
Storm Beast are pack creatures and are driven to action by their alphas. Seek out the local alpha and either slay or otherwise drive it from the region. When the alpha flees or dies, the others will scatter and vacate the region, giving us time to work unmolested. Find the alpha. Make safe Malachor for our brethren."

DIAMOND IN THE ROUGH
"Kyber crystals. Conduits of the Force and the heart of blade for every lightsaber. The Sith use them for weapons, see them as objects, but they are so much more. Kyber crystals are alive, they grow and change with those that leave their touch upon them. They resonate with the Force in a unique way, unlike anything else found in the galaxy.
During the last war a century ago, the Sith seized a number of sacred crystals belonging to the Jedi Order, bleeding and dominating them as they skewered them to their own ends. Most of our great Kyber crystals were lost, but our seers have sensed the presence of but one that has remained unblemished and unspoiled. However, take care; dangers surround this ruin. The powerful presence of the Dark Side of the Force has drawn and ensnared a horde of Storm Beasts, and perhaps even other evils.
The Eye of the Sun, also known as the Heart of Ilum, is a golden Kyber crystal, one of the last of our largest and most sacred relics of its kind. Return this precious item to the Order so that it might be preserved and protected as it should be, not left to fade in a Force-forsaken abyss."

"The Sith. A vile aberration of the Jedi, they are living weapons of death and destruction. The tomb of Darth Nokris, infamously known thousands of years ago as the Dark Lord of War who had been almost forgotten to time, was recently discovered on Malachor itself. And even in his death, identity gone and power lost, the remains of his quintessence still seep deeply in his very resting place. Disquieting tremors through the Force ripple asunder from this location, disrupting the focus of the our fellow Knight-Crusaders stationed on the planet. To make matters worse, the Storm Beasts nearby have been driven into a frenzy, threatening our brethren.
Go to Darth Nokris's tomb, seal the remains of his essence, and put the ancient evil to its final rest."

WHEN ALL OTHER LIGHTS GO OUT...
"The Dark Side. The corrosion of life and corruption the Force itself, it is the most terrible evil to happen upon this galaxy. Through time immemorial, its presence has leached from the living, attaching to places tainted by terrible acts and horrific events. Death, pain, cruelty, sorrow, hatred. The Dark Side moves though such things, and from them, thrives where they occur.
On Malachor, we have discovered one such place. A place of great pain and torment, rage and endless death. A vergence in the Force. A nexus of the Dark Side. It is a pool of the energies that eat away at life and the Light, dominating and twisting the things that live round about it. However, hope is not lost. Take the Force, wield the Light, and purify this place of Darkness. Where there was once only shadows, there can be light again.
Malachor has been in the thrall of the Dark Side for too long. Cleanse the dark altar. Purify the nexus. Let the healing process begin. Malachor can be redeemed—guide this world's return to the Light."
