DISTINGUISHING MARKS: One long scar going down the right side of his face, barely missing his eye, caused by an angry Talz as it was being traded into slavery.

STRENGTH: 9/10- Being a Makuran Kushari, Candar is extremely strong, despite a rather small size.
DEXTERITY: 7/10- Being Kushari grants good speed and agility, but Candar pays no special attention to this portion of his skillset.
CONSTITUTION: 8/10- Being a Makuran means he has no major genetic defects, and he enjoys the Kushari twin hearts, and excellent liver and lungs.
INTELLIGENCE: 7/10- While he lacks technical knowledge, he grasps science, and enjoys history, especially hearing about the Unification War. He is also an expert on everything related to the spice, and slave trades.
WISDOM: 6/10- Candar has very good knowledge of prices and the market, he isn't easy to fool. However, he is still fairly young by Kushari standards, and may act rashly.
CHARISMA: 3/10- Brute force and intelligence are Candar's preferred methods of "persuasion", he's not likely to make an attempt at charisma.
SKILLS:
Powerful- Makurans are, you could say, "strong", and his profession means he uses his muscle often.
Intimidating- Despite being fairly short, his strength, color, muscle size, and demeanor contribute to a very intimidating presence.
Prices- This is a Makuran who knows the inside and outside of the slave and spice trades.
Bite- Candar has perfected using his teeth in combat.
STRENGTHS-
Embraces his racial abilities- Candar keeps his ship very dark, to benefit from his vision. He also possesses a nasty bite, and he has a habit of using his arms to restrain his enemies arms, and then delivering a lethal bite to the throat.
Natural "camouflage"- Candar's coloration makes him, very difficult to see in low light.
Strong- Candar can easily defeat most other opponents with his powerful muscles and strong bite.
WEAKNESSES-
Charisma- Candar can't sweet-talk, and he doesn't try to.
Flashblinds- Working in darkness most of the time, sudden brightness can easily throw him into a flashblind.

PERSONALITY-
Almost fanatically nationalist for the forgotten Kith Makura, and holds a hatred of the United Kushari Federation. Like most Kushari, Candar is open-minded, not one to judge based on opinion. However, if you piss him off, or his allies... let's just say he holds a grunge for quite a while.
Candar is also somewhat "rebellious", and usually doesn't like being controlled, unless he can very clearly see the benefit. This is somewhat hypocritical, as he is a slaver.
Despite these rebellious tendencies, Candar houses loyalty to those who help him, to the point of sometimes freeing slaves that do something to help him, however rare that may be.
Another quirk is how he goes about his slaving. He has no qualms about kidnapping random citizens, or holding a village hostage, but he usually makes a special effort to enslave, or simply murder other criminals.
Due to his Makuran heritage, Candar doesn't choose slaves based on race or appearance, but based on ability. This can make it seem as if he is racist, as he has a tendency to enslave the same races, strong, docile ones such as the Talz.
His mouth often gets him into trouble, as his parents didn't bother to hide their Makuran heritage, and made no effort to instill a sense of "When not to say" into their son.
While he hates the Federation, he doesn't harbor hatred for individual Damarians, only those that support the federation, or prove to be massive ****.
He also refuses to enslave other Kushari, if they did something to merit it, he would simply kill them. After the killing, they would be given a "burial" in space, jettisoned off his ship.
BIOGRAPHY:
Born to a Damarian father and Makuran mother in Welais Valley, Candar enjoyed living in relative safety, guarded by Kith Najyr, taught to never be ashamed of his heritage. He grew very large for a hybrid, and surprising his parents, retained the ability to roar.
They wanted him to have a thorough, unbiased view of the Unification War, and Kushari history, so they began sending him to baseline Najyr's to have them teach him of everything in Kushari history.
He would return from his studies full of questions, and slowly began to formulate his own ideas. The Alliance were to blame for the destruction and murder of millions, and by extension, the Federation.
Candar slowly grew to hate the government he was hardly affected by, wanting to stop the Federation. Knowing he hated living under the shadow of the Federation, whom would never let him live a normal life outside of Welais, his parents arranged for him to leave the planet.
Kith Najyr was very understanding, and several Kiithid petitioned to send a secondary, smaller exploration group... With Candar on board.
As the ship began powering the FTL drives, Candar kept one souvenir. A photo of his family, at once fairly respected, Kiithid Syphyx.
The crew asked the young Makuran where he wished to go, and having seen only basic maps he couldn't adequately answer. He stayed aboard the ship.. Until the crew became a little sick of his presence, so they "kindly" asked him to pick a planet, so they could return to the home-world.
Knowing he had to choose, lest he return to the Federation, Candar was frantically searching when he found a fairly large, habitable space station on the map.
Wanted to do something exciting, he chose it instead of a planet, unaware it a nest of criminal, primary Hutt Cartel activity.
The station was home to massive spice operations, and Candar quickly found himself sucked into the trade in an effort to make some credits.
Synthetic product was good enough, but Candar heard of a hellhole called Kessell, where the most expensive spice in the galaxy could be mined.. If you could hide from the Imperials, and not be killed by Energy spiders.
This resulted in his first, and certainly not last experience with slavery. As a an older spicer and slaver helped him get started, giving him a freighter, and hiding him from Imperials for a cut of the profit didn't bring any mining equipment.
However, on the part of the planet they had settled on there was little Imperial presence, prompting some individuals to settle there to escape Imperial retribution. They didn't work, and as an added bonus, they had mining equipment...
The older slaver convinced Candar to "enlist" the locals. A few black bags, threats, and dead prisoners later they had a sizable force of miners.
The feeling was intoxicating to the Makuran who had never had a modicum of power in his life. The two slavers practically bathed in power.
After some time, they wanted to sell the product. The slaver sent Candar back to the station to sell the glitterstim, but what Candar found horrified him.
the station had been destroyed by Imperials. As he wondered what to do, he decided to return to tell his friend. When he returned, he found that the small colonies had been destroyed, his ally dead, and the slaves taken by the Imperium.
Angry, he was forced to find somewhere else to sell. Headed into Hutt Space, he heard of the seemingly perfect place. Nar Shaddaa. On the way, he would kidnap and sell the odd stranded explorer, this left him with a supply of glitterstim and a meager amount of credits.
Boarding the small freighter, which was now becoming damaged from wear and tear, Candar headed for Cartel space.
Finding himself near Nal Hutta, he decided to try and find a slave auction to sell his glitterstim and slaves at.
Unbeknownst to him, another, more experienced slaver by the name of Karem Tarask was present at the auction.
Walking into the auction, he immediately saw a commotion.
A human, Karem, and a rather brutal looking Trandoshan were about to come to blows, apparently over a deal between him and Karem, who was a slaver.
Seeing another slaver in trouble, Candar immediately grabbed is stun baton, and smashed it into the Trandoshan's head.
Needless to say, the two were booted out. However, this didn't sour their mood, and they both began talking of a partnership.
Leaving his ship at the auction, Candar boarded the Orphan's Plea ((Still needs to be accepted)) to begin his new life as a slaver with the Hutt Cartel, and the beginning of a partnership.
Unfortunately, Karam later split off the partnership, giving Candar enough credits to buy a new ship, at which point he began looking to join the Makuran Commonwealth.
