Tatootine
Deaths disabled
Anchorhead
latest

"Run all you want Child, you will only die tired.."

Tatootine was a awful planet, the Station of Anchorhead made it no better. To make things worst Deathwatch has made itself noticed in the System, all which make this hunt even Harder for the Sith. Around Mid-Day things were already escalating to violent extremes. His Clothing was tightly wrapped around his body, his face covered by what appears to be a breathing mask of some sort, his skin was tanned and exposed on one side while a half-cloak hid his right arm and in it, his light-saber peaked just gently beneath the Cloth. Luca Jissard had been hunting a one "Kai Foxx" for sometime now. He was angry, annoyed that the Young Force User slayed a Sith by the name of Renzar. A shame, though it wasn't going to save him even if he manged to stop Kai. Renzar had made the last move by insulting Luca last time they met in person. If it wasn't enough, this Child was slick and able to avoid the Sith with great haste. His senses tingled gently, as his feet stomped heavily onto the sandstone pathway of the Alley-way, they were located in the outer layers of the city away from most of the populace. Sweat dropped from Lucas forehead and onto his outfit and the ground below. He wasn't on edge, he was relatively calm past the minor annoyance he is having to put up with. "Make this easy on yourself! I'm tired of chasing you!" his voice would boom out in a threatening tone, followed by a faint sinister chuckle "Why run Child? Embrace the true feeling of who you are!" His voice would be thrown around in the alley-way at this point, sounding like it was bounding from many different directions. He kept on his toes, searching for the disturbance in the Force.

Kai had sensed he was being followed for some time, now. That, or the heat was getting to him; he was sure the temperature had to be surpassing 60 degrees centigrade. He was clothed with his long white cloak that his non-biological father, the Jedi, Matte Foxx, passed down to him, which was surely adding to the heat, but he refused to take it off, as he knew his adoptive father had superstitious beliefs about the cloak, saying that every time he fought a Sith whilst wearing the white cloak, he emerged unscathed, but the day Matte was murdered by Renzar his cloak was nowhere to be seen.
A chill ran up Kai's spine once more.

"I am definitely being watched..." Kai whispered to his astromech, KF-1, his force senses tingling, as he turned down an alleyway, hoping to lure his stalker into view. Kai stopped at the end of the alleyway, turning right at the end of the path to obscure himself from the view of his follower.

"Make this easy on yourself! I'm tired of chasing you!" An intimidating male voice bellowed out from the other end of the alleyway, tempting Kai to move back into view. "Why run Child? Embrace the true feeling of who you are!" His voice reverberating around the alley.

Kai stepped back down the main strip of alleyway, to see the man who had been following him during his stay at Tatooine. He was tall, although it was hard for Kai to gauge exactly how tall, as the man was roughly thirty meters away. Although Kai wasn't exactly a master of deduction, he presumed his foe was a Sith, as this man was not the only one to hunt Kai down after the death of Renzar, and the stalker's clothing matched that deduction; classic incognito Sith clothing.

"So you are one of the many come to avenge your fallen brother, Renzar?" Kai called to him, trying to hide the slight nervousness that crept up upon him; Kai hadn't had very good experiences with Sith. KF-1 took an immediate disliking to the character whom they were followed by, tempted to fire his inbuilt lasers at the Sith, but Kai denied him permission.

"Not yet, at least." Kai whispered to the small astromech, before yelling out to the Sith once more.

"I commend you for getting this far, all the other Sith who followed me lost track of me in only a day or two... So, I must ask; who are you?"

The Man stood brooding in the Alley-way, his gaze locked onto the Child at the end of the pathway "You mistake me for some weak minded Hunter." A Intimidating voice, which manipulated itself through the Alley-Way his hand would throw his cloak over his shoulder exposing the light-saber which in return he would twirl in his hand, the blade igniting with a crackle of energy and loud FWOOSH, a bright red now Illuminating the pathway. "Renzar was a weak minded fool and you saved me the trouble of killing him myself." he mocks, he begins to take several steps forward--each other giving off a dull and echoing thud. His Saber would crackle with a faint dark sound of energy as he continued to walk forward "I know who you are Child, Son of a weak-willed Master." he taunted, scoffing almost--it seemed as he wasn't interested in the whole fact he was here, his foot steps wouldn't speed up as he continued to menacingly walk towards him, his large form brooding

It would be easy to feel that this man was not scared, he seemed to enjoy inflicting fear onto this so be Jedi. He was ready for whatever came next, when nearing about ten meters from him he stops, his eyes locking with his. The side of his mouth curl into a smile, just barely seen behind his mask "Flee little mouse, if you so wish. I will find you again. Luca Jissard is who will end you Jedi Scum." a low and projected laugh came from him.

The Sith, who called himself Luca Jissard, taunted Kai repeatedly, as well as insulting his late Jedi father; something most people will only ever do once.

"I fear, Luca, that you have also mistaken me. I am not a Jedi, although I was trained by one. At a young age, I was framed by a fellow Jedi trainee, and was deemed unable to join the Jedi by the council..." Kai whipped out his newly built, sleek black lightsaber from his belt, flicking the saber's switch, and in a flurry of magenta and dark purple tones the weapon flashes into form. "I also feel that you may have underestimated me. I have trained my whole life, in saber combat, and in the Force. Even as a teenager, I have strengths that you do not, and you must accept that. There is one thing that you said, though, about my father, that is really pulling on me. You said 'weak-willed master'. Now, if you were anyone else, I would have dislocated your nose by slamming your face on a desk, and then I would be on my way. Sadly, (for me that is) your face is not currently within my reach." Kai smirked, growing more and more confident the more he talked. He could visibly see the Sith, who was now only ten meters away, was getting slightly angry with his, 'child', as he liked to call Kai.

Kai slowly positioned his blade in the starting position for Form VI, prepared for whatever the Sith planned to throw at him.

Luca laughs as the Child prepares for combat, he looks him up and down from a moment, his feet shuffle forward as he proceeds to walk towards Kai, "Pathetic!" he taunts "Come then Child, smash my face in if you so dare!" he would bring his arm back before slashing a nearby pipe, a large burst of steam exploding into the alley way to create a nice, foggy aesthetic for the commencing battle.

"I will crush you beneath my heel, you are nothing but a minor thorn in my side. I've slayed rats stronger then you. If the training you received from your Master is anything like your sloppy form you shall not last long." He taunts him further, obviously trying to get into Kais head, cause him to be thrown off and angered.

And at moments like these Kai's anger management issues are a real pain, to himself, and often those around him.

"My master could have destroyed you in his sleep." The young mercenary roared. "Luckily for you, he was caught off guard by one of your petty Sith brethren, and left me to do the job for him... And if you spent less time slaying rats, maybe you might've learned a bit about form, don't you think?" Kai enjoys the mental warfare, before the actual battle begins, seeing the Sith's desperate efforts to get inside his head as a compliment, the young warrior launches himself into the air, using the force to increase his jumping height, before swinging his saber; thrusting the blade down hard in a vertical arc.

The Sith responds swiftly as he steps to the side, bringing his blade up in order to protect himself, a loud clashing of blades echos from the hallway as the sparks fly. His taunting and insults would stop as the actual combat begins. Luca having his blade locked against Kai he would bring his pommel up in a swift manner to attempt to strike Kai in the face in order to have him stumble back to get breathing room between the two. "Sloppy." he simply states. If his attack is successful he would take a few careful steps back bringing his blade up ready to protect himself against the next action.

"Yeah, keep telling yourself that..." Kai scoffed, trying to concentrate on the task at hand.

The Sith was, slowly, getting into his head. Kai's form was impeccable, his master wouldn't have accepted anything less, yet Luca would repeatedly taunt him quite ignorantly. Kai barely evaded the Sith's jab which was targeted at his face, and took a few steps back, catching a slight breather, before re-engaging his opponent, this time with a different approach, decidedly using a different form to try and catch the Sith off guard; Form VII, otherwise know as Juyo.

Kai then attacked Luca viciously with three consecutive strokes of his purple lightsaber, trying to put the Sith on his back foot, before recollecting himself in a defensive position.

Juyo, being his main Form of Combat saw what he was trying to do his Saber would easily come up in one hand colliding with his--the first hit connecting would just allow Kai to feel the power behind the mans form. He Seemed immovable, almost like a brick wall of pure brute strength. At this point the alley way would be feeled with a faint steamy haze from the busted pipe broken many moments ago. With a clash of electricity and sparks scattering across the alley-way, It was quickly turning into what seemed to be a loud battle. It wouldn't be odd if someone investigated. The Second swing comes for Luca as he takes a step back connecting once more as he throws it to the side in order to keep himself from getting slashed. Though, the Third one catches him off guard with a swift deactivation of his lightsaber, Luca just narrowly avoids Kais lightsaber swing, passing over his head as he ducked down. Any closer and he would of had a bit taken off the top. He back paddles giving around five feet of distance between the two, his blade reactivating. "Impressive. It will not save you, child. I can feel it, your anger." his voice was low, almost in a soothing way "Give in."

Kai knew that this was a mental battle as well as a physical one, as Luca repeatedly tried to tempt him to the dark side, using the force to try to break into Kai's head. It took all of Kai's concentration to block it out, but luckily for him, the Sith was out of arm's reach, so Luca didn't take advantage of Kai being off guard. Kai got back into his stance once more, returning to his natural form, a cross between Forms IV, V and VI, which he called Form VIII.
The acrobatics of the 'Way of the Hawk-Bat', Ataru, crossed with the extensive force usage in the 'Way of the Rancor', Niman, creates for a very athletic technique, but then that combined with the defensive skill of the 'Way of the Krayt Dragon', Shien Djem So, it invents a whole new fighting style.

"What do you want of me?" Kai broke a slightly quizzical look, although sensing no emotion of the sort in the Sith he faced, before releasing a few cautious attacks with his new lightsaber, from right to left, left to right; keeping the blade in Form V for self-defense. "You say that you aren't here to avenge Renzar; then what are you here for?" He says, trying to keep his eyes off KF-1, who is slowly approaching Luca from behind...

"You killed Renzar without him even noticing." he states, no emotion carrying behind his voice he looks around for a single moment, he stepped to the side his free hand shooting up towards the Droid located behind him and within a spilt second he felt the Force grip around the Astro-Mech before in a brutal attempt to fling it towards Kai, It seemed he was trying to get him off guard once more and damage him with the environment around him. "Impressive if I do say so myself. Though Renzar was a fool. Tell me, what did you do with his Sabre?"

Kai watched as Luca grasped the small astromech droid with the Force, flinging KF-1 wildly at him. Kai had little time to react, dodging the passing droid by mere millimeters.

"This is what I did with his saber."
Spilled out from under his breath, before ripping Renzar's lightsaber from out of his belt and igniting the pure red blade immediately, striking at Luca three more times in Form VIII, with a lightsaber in each hand.

"But I ask you once more, what do you want me for, Jissard?"

Three more attacks were swung at Luca, Three more times the blades connected with his in a glorious form of combat and eletricity sparked. Luca made sure to lock Blades on the final strike to keep them inches apart so they two may look each other in the eyes. He was standing there as he held his ground, a powerful mass of a man who at this point seemed to be toying with Kai "You have power l that you wasted in your time training under the Jedi, you could put it to great use." he would curl a small smile once more before he pushes back onto Kias lightsaber in order to once more put a bit of space between them.

As Luca locked blades with him, the two pushed hard against each other, trying to get a gauge of one another's strength.
"Wasted?" He says, glaring at his foe before disengaging the that lock they were in. "I increased my knowledge of the Force exponentially under the training of Master Foxx." Kai stared at the Sith trying to to get an idea of his emotions, but Luca was a blank slate; a king of the poker-face.

"Let me show you." Kai said, before performing a sabre throw with Renzar's lightsaber at his foe, a demonstration of his force powers.

Luca swipes up in a vertical arc as its flung towards him, impacting with the blade it spirals through the air and against the wall of the Alleyway "Mistake." he simply states before he lunges at him with his speed increased by the Force, going on the offensive his blade would sweep downwards at Kais form in a attempt to force his blade to the ground. If the attack was a success or failure it wouldn't stop him from bringing his hand up attempting to force push him further down the alley-way.

"Wrong, once again." Kai smirked. "The upside of having two lightsabers is that you can throw one, without having to worry about being defenseless for the time in-between." Kai had anticipated the Sith's next moves, knowing Luca would try to take advantage of Kai's lapse of concentration directly after throwing the saber. Kai whipped up his purple saber horizontally in reference to Luca's vertical attack, but his grip wasn't tight enough for the brute force of the more experienced Sith, and his newly built saber went flying out of his hand. Luca then force pushed Kai much further down the alleyway, preparing to reengage his dueler. In desperation, Kai reached out to his saber, which lay on the ground about twenty meters away, trying to use the Force to bring the lightsaber back to him. Alas, his countless years of force training came in handy, as he watched as the saber came flying down the alleyway, past Luca, and back into his hand, and the young warrior prepared for the Sith's next moves.

Sweat would slowly drip from the brow of Luca, his eyes furrowed angrily as the fight dragged on, he was getting angrier by the second only to fuel his power of the Dark Side. His breathing was electronic through the mask, but was calm and collective. It didn't seem he was going to be out of breath anytime soon. The Sith brings his hands up "Then it leaves your other to me." grabbing the Siths lightsaber with his free hand as it flung towards Lucas hand with the help of the force force. His fingers would run over the Fallen Sith Sabre for a moment before igniting it with a single motion, a small smile curls over his face. Looking up at his Opponent before rushing forward again, he is no longer walking but actually seems to be interested in the fight as he moves swiftly towards him--he quickly moves forward attempting to strike Kai with his own light-saber with a powerful attempt of a Twin Strike downwards towards Kais blade in a brutal attempt to stagger or disarm him.

Once more, the much more experienced Sith had the upper hand, and the young, nonetheless talented, warrior had gotten too far ahead of himself. He used all of his strength to defend against Luca's vicious attempts to disarm him in the Sith's Jar'Kai technique, which didn't seem to be Luca's best form, in terms of lightsaber combat, but that didn't mean Kai was going to back down one bit.

"You do know how to make this hard for me." Kai said, showing no emotion now. This was getting serious.

The strength of the two fluorescent red blades combined was immense, Kai did his best not to collapse from the two sabre's that Luca held. They were locked in position, and Kai's arms slowly began to shake under the strain, but he held tight, trying to predict what the Sith would do next, before backing out of the deadlock and force pushing Luca back a metre or two, to gather himself, and prepare to continue the loud clashing of blades.

"You've impressed me, yes. Very much." he takes a deep breath for a moment, a loud hsssk heard from his mouth, obviously it was aiding him in keeping his breathing under control and to drag the fight on. He stands there for a moment, letting silence overtake them for just a few moments. Luca brow moved up as he looked over Kai once more like he did at the start, sweat now dripping down his not-so-clever disguise. "Why do you waste such potential?" Luca wouldn't budge a inch at this point, one hand would deactivate the light-saber before pressing something on his wrist. He stands, waiting incase Kai tries anything further.

Then, the chaos suddenly stopped. No more clashing of plasma, just the quiet humming of active lightsabers. Kai treasured the silence, unknowing if it would last.

"You've impressed me, yes. Very much." Luca admitted, his breathing amplified by the mask that covered part of his face. "Why do you waste such potential?"

"I guess that comes down to how you define the word waste, Jissard." Kai said quietly, as Luca retracted his lightsaber. But Kai didn't do the same, as he has a lack of trust for people, especially Sith. "You can never be too cautious..." He whispered to himself, only loud enough that he was the only one to hear it.
