Cataros bears typical Arkanian Offshoot physical traits, with white hair and pale colour eyes. With the species' shorter lifespan, Cataros shows signs of approaching middle age through his weathered features in spite of most of his life in an artificial environment. His body remains in peak physical condition, bearing the testament of numerous fights in the form of scars and stitches across the bulk of his body. In spite of this, he is always one to give a smile even when some might consider it inappropriate to the general mood of the room.
PERSONALITY
The scars he bears come from a life of dealing and taking hits in the lower decks of stations for fun and for profit through the bets he places on himself. While being sure not to get cocky, he strongly believes in the thrill of the fight and finds little enjoyment in fighting without a challenge. With a strong trusting nature, he has come to appreciate the company he keeps at most times, considering most people potential friends.

BIOGRAPHY
A former miner with a cheerful personality, Cataros ("Karo" to his friends), worked for a mining company tasked with harvesting rare minerals from numerous asteroid fields and the decommissioning/scrapping of stations considered beyond economical repair. Having travelled from mining station to mining station, he has never considered himself to have ever had a permanent residence. Always moving from one location to the next after so many weeks or months, he prefers to travel light, taking only the few trinkets that he has picked up along the way with him.
An expert with mining explosives both in the airless void and through necessary breakdown of pressurized containers and metal scrap, he holds his capabilities at demolitions as one of his highest strengths.
While off-duty, he has had a reputation among his few colleagues for working in the illegal boxing rings which often occur below deck. While considering this a way to keep fit in the unreliable or wholly absent artificial gravity, it has also acted as a second income for his work which he has too-often relied on to get by.
Over the years, he has made every effort to enjoy life in his own simple way, accepting his lot and lacking much ambition to reach for greater things. However after ten years of continual hard service, the mining corporation finally faced financial ruin as their stations faced repeated ruptures in the face of rogue asteroids punching through particle shields that did not meet regulatory requirements.
Following the karma of having tried to save money by cutting corners, the business collapsed, displacing Cataros and his fellow miners with what little pay the business had last issued, scattering them to the neighbouring stations or back to the void aboard star ships offering alternate work. Fortunately, save for the explosives, most of the miners were able to keep their company-issued equipment.
Now with a goal to earn money once more, in a wide galaxy where he had known little else but demolitions and endless space, Cataros remains infused with his continual optimism, knowing that the opportunities were endless.
