I see no problem with it. It would be a little bit difficult to maintain the light, especially being around the dark, but not impossible I don't think.

Why did he go to Jedha then leave? Seems like they would have issue with him locating them then leaving; like the work of a spy.

I imagine his leaving definitely wasn't something he made known to the jedi. He probably knew in war time that it would look strangely, and snuck his way off the planet -- cover of night, left his ship, hopped a freighter, didn't take much with him. Sneaking out would be difficult, but nothing he isn't trained to do without problems.

I definitely plan for there to be hostility between he and the Order. Everything about his arrival and departure probably looked suspect, though he didn't mean any hostility by it.

Don't think it took much masking his intentions in the force, as he was genuinely interested in seeking the jedi's help at the start. It probably took some time though I realize there isn't much timeline in the writing for him to decide they're just a little too docile for him to be chillin with.

I can make that more prevalent in the writing if required, easy fix.
