| Around females, Chadwick is a broken man. He looks at his boots, doesn't talk and is basically useless save for cannon fodder. But when there isn't a woman in sight, the man turns into a near demon-like force on the battlefield. Throughout his career as an independent contractor, Nar managed to kill a Hutt enforcer without so much as a sound, take down a squad of independent bounty hunters in a prolonged firefight and hack an entire ship by himself. This does not at all match his intense fear of women. The cause of this fear is probably with his mother, an intimidating but very striking woman who often beat her sons for failure, while cherishing her daughters. This is a surprisingly common way of raising children among Hapans, but it has taken a much more severe effect upon Nar than most. This may come from his sisters also joining in the abuse or some sort of sexual or intense physical trauma, but it has resulted in a very detrimental physiological barrier: He cannot talk to women. His father, however, was an extremely kind man who instilled Nar with a will to live and a personality that gets on well with most males. He can be extremely charismatic to other males and can convince them to help him or otherwise assist him. When placed in a situation where a non-hostile woman he has had any sort of contact with attempts to communicate to him, Chadwick seals up inside himself and refuses to speak, act, fight, or do anything useful at all. This can, obviously, be quite detrimental to any relationships. Another side-effect is an increased hostility to women who show hostility to him. Chadwick will enter a blind rage and attempt to kill the individual with brute force, forgetting the encounter after he has done so. And yet, Chadwick is still very proficient in a fight. After somehow passing Imperial military basic without his female issues coming to light, he was noted at being very skilled on the three combat missions he went on. On the forth, the issues came to light and after two psychiatrist meetings he was relieved of duty from the Imperial Army. A few months later, he resurfaced when he became involved in a Hutt operation to steal several tonnes of gold from a small smuggling operation. The Enforcer responsible made a note of Nar's name, and some weeks later he turned in a bounty on another enforcer. Finally, he was noted to have single-handedly taken half a dozen independent bounty hunters who attempted to withhold payment. We believe this is why he has joined the Cartel. Personal Data Log: Chadwick Nar, known Hutt associate. Ex-Imperial Army, was relieved of duty due to self-esteem issues around women. Highly efficient killer apart from this. Threat assessment: High for males, none for females. One noted achievement being the killing of a prominent rogue Hutt assassin with just a knife when working alone, and yet was unable to fend off a mugger when with a female. Suggested action: Be female. |
