To whomever this may concern,

I am ////////, founder and CEO of ////////////////. Enclosed in this datapad is the classified dossier of a droid that took decades to design, let alone CREATE! This droid is the first in the line of the potentially prosperous KL-Series, and was intended to pilot what was supposed to be an ingenious line of droids. Unfortunately this droid is anything but that. KL-4V is a extremely dangerous killing machine that is incapable of feeling emotion or remorse for anything but itself; essentially making it the perfect weapon. My intention was to sell it's line to the Republic (as a weapon, naturally), but I'm afraid things have gotten out of hand.

Reader, please forgive my rather scattered thoughts, I am writing this in a hurried panic. I suppose you're wondering WHY I'm in ahurried panic, allow me to start from the beginning.

As described before, KL-4V was a compilation of decades of delicate work put together. My team and I worked without sleep for many days designing it's very unique targeting system and advanced AI. Then came building the body; we went with something brutal and humanoid. It took us 35 years to finally piece the damned droid together, but we finally did it. Throughout the building process, I had been in contact with the Republic in hopes of selling them KL droids; so I elected to keep the droid offline until they arrived.

When an inspector and a team of soldiers arrived, I turned KL-4V on. At first it was marvelous, KL obeyed every command given, was able to speak almost every language fluently, and had the precision of the world's most skilled marksman. After witnessing the test, the inspector approved my project and began to leave; this is where KL snapped. My team and I made sure we did not include a personality matrix in KL-4V, so it's main "feeling" should always be the task at hand. Unfortunately, we never assigned KL a mission, so it's AI must have set it's objective to "self-benefit", acting as some sort of half-witted sentience.

KL decided that being sold as a weapon wouldn't benefit itself, so it fired upon everyone in the room; killing all but me. I made a run to my office and am currently collecting my final thoughts here on this datapad. KL has been working at my door for 15 minutes now, and I am positive I shall join the Force soon. KL's programming allows it to constantly update the dossier below, but I will make sure I lock this document so KL may not tamper with it. Good luck reader, may the For-

UNIT HISTORY: (Brief-sih bio) Body is light, and the mouthfeel smooth. The palate gathers apple peel, light clove notes and a thin sweetness that's touched with caramel. In the middle, ripe and juicy fresh wheat malt with pear edge, while a husky, grainy, wheat twang livens things up. Suggestions of bubblegum are noted. There's very little bitterness, but a slight lemony sourness, banana pith and light hop leaf character that, combined, increase the perceived bitterness. Yeast is rather neutral, a bit chalky. Some medicinal phenols show through toward the finish. Finish dries the palate, with a lingering wheat and barley husk.

FAUX PERSONALITY MATRIX:Nose (KL-4V identifies itself as a male, more personality stuff here)shows some clove and banana bread, with a soft wheat-husk background, nutty yeast, hints of citrus and a brush of floral. In the mouth, the beer is smooth on the palate, light and uplifting. The palate is piqued by crisp carbonation and a watery, lemony edge that segues into a slightly grassy wheat twang, with very soft phenolic image clover-like and thin banana flavors. Pithy floral, nutty yeast, gummy notes. Hops are non-existent, but somewhat expected for the style. Malt characters are weak, lending just a hint of residual sweetness. The finish on this brew is bone dry, with a mouthful of rough and husky tannins and yeast flavors that, unfortunately, linger long past their welcome.

FEATURES: (appearance, skills) Poured from a stubby 12-ounce brown bottle into a Belgian-style chalice, the beer appears a rich, semi-hazed, deep brown with ruddy hues; a creamy beige head dresses the top, with a wispy center and ringed lace. Malty aromatics make their way to the nose as soon as the bottle is cracked, full with toffee, fruit, soft spices, metallics, faint flora, earth, fresh roots, a bready yeast edge and a deep, spicy and warming alcohol. Lush feel on the palate, with creamy, smooth carbonation. Malt base is even, with the taste of dark overripe stone fruits, a distinct prune edge, and rounded juiciness, not overly sweet. Light charring in the background, some burnt sugars, a touch of orange blossom honey and some steeliness. Dry toward the finish, with a lingering alcohol warmth and spice, root and earth character, and a big yeasty smack at the very end.

ASSETS: (ship, gear, pet and whatnot)Arriving in a 22-ounce brown bomber, this ale clocks in at 62 IBUs, which tells us there is a substantial amount of hops here, and a hefty 7.9 percent alcohol by volume speaks for itself. Decent amount of foam that holds together to form a chunky-looking head with good retention. Crystal-clear copper hue. Juicy aroma, pear-like fruity esters, rosewater, soft herbal tones and a hint of spicy alcohol in the back. Full-bodied with a syrupy mouthfeel, very smooth and creamy. Loads of hop oil up front, herbal, almost like nectar. Really juicy with an intermingled fruitiness of mango, pear and melon. Then the fruity esters show their real source with a warmth and spice of balanced alcohol; and bitterness has a go on the taste buds with a semi-puckering dryness. The malt character drops in fashionably late with undertones of toasted biscuit. The finish is a tad sweet, though if the hops fade with a bit of age and the alcohol goes a bit vinous, then, with time, this beer will turn into a different beast altogether.

JDG-RR "Judgement" Revolving Rifle
Credit for image: CzechBiohazard on DeviantArt

[fancybox2]
Affiliation: NO AFFILIATION

Ownership: Anybody who wants one and can reasonably
get one.

Model: JDG-RR
Codename: Judgement

Manufacturer: Bonat Industries, Heavy-CORP Division

Type: Revolving Sniper Rifle (Blaster)

Size: Large, Heavy Sniper Rifle

Composition: Durasteel with Dallorian alloy plating around the barrel, trigger assembly and cylinder.

Maximum Accurate Range: 520 Meters

Ammunition Capacity: 4 cartridges/bolts

Intent:
This weapon is intended for the dedicated sniper. It's purpose is to provide a rifle that carries a decent amount of ammunition and does not require constant reloading like most sniper rifles in this era. While the the rifle is quite cumbersome, it allows the shooter to spend more time looking down the sights, and less time reloading.

Description: The JDG-RR is a very uniquely styled sniper rifle, in the sense that it features a revolver-style cylinder rather than a chamber for ammunition. The cylinder holds up to four cartridges and rotates after each shot (like a revolver would). The weapon has a heavy trigger-pull and requires about 3.5 seconds in between shots to compensate for recoil and pulling back the hammer.

The cylinder on the JDG is extremely large, allowing it to accommodate the four cartridges. The blaster bolts are fired down a 73 inch barrel (the rifle itself is 140 cm). The rifle's large size and hefty cylinder make it weight about 15 kg, which is on the heavier side. This heavy weight shouldn't be an issue, seeing as the intended use is for stationary snipers.

Features and Variants:
-Comes standard with a removable high-magnification scope that allows the Judgement to shoot at 520 accurately.
- Military Variant (JDG-SRR) comes with a self-cocking hammer and a rangefinder on the scope*.

*The JDG-SRR is RARE and can only be obtained by military forces with an IC reason (message @Cinereous and we can figure something out).
[/fancybox2]

Not going to submit this. If anybody likes it, feel free to use (and edit) it for a tech submission as long as I'm given credit.

ROON: CLOAK OF THE SITH
Description: The Cloak of Sith is a giant cosmic dust cloud containing deadly asteroid fields and nebulae that surround the planet Roon. For most, the only way to pass through the Cloak is to depart from Ryloth and head to Roon via the Death Wind Corridor route. This route is dangerous as it often results in fatalities for conventional ships, and moderate to severe damage for ships meant to navigate asteroid fields. The Death Wind accounts for about 5% of the Cloak. Due to the magnetic constitution of the nebula and dust within the cloak, navigational systems are constantly disrupted and the asteroids can be quite difficult to see. For a novice pilot, or even an expert in a ill-prepared ship, passing through the Cloak will prove to be extremely deadly.

The Work-Around: The Manda-Roon route, a much safer route, is a relatively calm ride compared to the Death Wind Corridor. Discovered by Mandalorian traders, the route goes through the thinnest part of the asteroid belt, had thinner clouds, and has beacons marked along the way (no need for nav systems). Even a lightly seasoned pilot in any aircraft could easily traverse this route (it is not advised that novices even ATTEMPT to pass through the Cloak). Unfortunately, this path is much thinner than the Death Wind and is more of a thin line, rather than a large area of the Cloak. The Manda-Roon is not well known.

How to use/discover the Manda-Roon: Due to the routes small size, travelers rarely encounter it on it's own. However, almost every pilot on Roon is familiar with the path and many experienced pilots on different worlds know of the route. Additionally, a decent amount of spice mining corporations and a few small smuggling rings know about the route and use it regularly for high-profit trading. Along with the spice miners, many Mandalore-based trade companies know the route and are often willing to share tips on how to reach it.

Factions and people who know the Manda-Roon Route:
-The faction Ha'rangir's Chosen has gained knowledge of this route because they had a pilot from Roon who joined the ranks and gladly shared the route with them.

BIOGRAPHY
[fancybox2]
24f933f14974eb5aee9c42f26a373337.png
Liam was born to James and Anna Kozlov. The family lived in a small house on a large family farm. The farm produced various herbs and other crops for the rich rums and ales produced by popular breweries. Unfortunately, his parents rarely had time to care for him because they were always out in the fields, so they had a caretaker take care of Liam. Gregorio, Liam's caretaker, was a large, grumpy man and was good friends with James and Anna. From the day that Liam turned one, until he turned 10, Gregorio would sit with him all day and taught him the importance of family values, and threw some mathematics in there as well; something about distances that Liam kept noted in a book under his bed.

When Liam turned 10, Gregorio was mysteriously fired by his parents and the boy went out to work in the fields. He worked long hours with his parents and their employees out in the sun. When out there, he almost always worked by his parents side as they taught him the ways of the field and cared for him. Unfortunately, his parents didn't care enough to educate him. The youth spent six years in the fields, accumulating nothing but a muscular build and useless farming skills. Despite the insanely in-shape body that field work had given him, he felt like he was missing something. So a few months after turning 17, the young man escaped from his home and ran with nowhere to go.

He ran north for hours on end, until he came across a small town. There wasn't much in it, just a bar, a few houses, some kiosks, an inn and a large town hall. Seeing as it was late at night, he stumbled in to the inn. He didn't have any credits, so naturally he was kicked out. The broken youth sat crying outside the inn, until a large figure approached him; it was Gregorio. The man took Liam in to his home and let him spend the night. When he woke up in the morning, he learned why his parents had fired Gregorio. The older man was a deadly gun-for-hire, with a dastardly amount of kills under his belt. He explained to Liam that nearby towns and government organizations hired him as a vigilante to exterminate those that harmed the peace; and they paid well.

Before he knew it, Liam was helping Gregorio deliver swift deaths to those that chose to harm society. He helped out by propping himself behind a sniper rifle on the many hills of Dantooine, providing an overwatch for Gregorio on the ground. On one particular day, Gregorio was running after a pirate. Liam looked through his scope, planting the cross-hairs on the fleeing scum. He let a bolt fly and it missed, instead hitting Gregorio in the foot. He fired again, hitting low and behind. He fired a third time, and one again missed and hit a patch of grass behind his target.

Needless to say, that day Gregorio was pissed and the pirate got away. From that point on, the boy spent his free time practicing with his rifle; positioning himself at far distances and accommodating each shot for how long it took the bolt to travel. When he wasn't practicing his shots, he was practicing formulas and other equations to help him improve his shots from a mathematical standpoint.

Years went by, and he never almost never missed a shot. He enjoyed a steady flow of credits until he was about 25 years old. He was sitting on a water tower watching Gregorio talking to a potential target. The two he was looking at were sideways from his perspective, so he didn't see the target bringing a thermal detonator out of his pocket. The target primed the det, threw it and dashed. Liam took out the target, but it was too late for Gregorio; the man was pulverized instantly.

After that depressing afternoon, Liam took his own credits, and Gregorio's, and caught a ride to a shipyard. From there, he picked up an interceptor and made his way to Mandalore. The man knew that the warrior planet was a great place for him to pick up contracts and earn more money. He ended up doing work for the Republic forces on the planet, taking out targets that required the dirty work the Republic didn't want to do. Liam filled three years of his life doing odd jobs for the GAR on Mandalore, and managed to find himself a large apartment on the planet as well.

After those three years he became a Republic agent, working covertly for the army on and off of Mandalore. It was essentially the same gig as before. He had to set up shop at a vantage point, watch over troops on the ground and his job was done. He did this until he was 31, when he finally decided to join the GAR as a SpecOps officer. From that point on, he made it his purpose to get the job done, no matter the cost.

ASSESTS

[SKILLS & DOWNFALLS]

Liam is an incredibly skilled marksman and mathematician. He's at the point where, with the help of a rangefinder, he can hit almost any target even, if it's moving. Unfortunately, despite his muscular build, Liam can barely hold his own in melee combat. He is fluent in basic and can speak Mando'a well enough to be understood.

He's also quite the runner, allowing him to change cover is a reasonably fast time. However consistently running can take a toll on him, as he has a low amount of stamina.

[INVENTORY]
-ARBITRATOR P.A.K ARMOR

-CZ-01 INTERCEPTOR

-MP-FRAPB (ASSAULT RIFLE AND SNIPER VARIANTS)

- SUNSPEAR BLASTER PISTOL

Krayt-Class Assault Freighter

Name: Krayt-Class Assualt Frieghter

Complement:
- SSDLS: Small shuttle (5x5x3m) w/ landing gear (also functions as an escape pod)
- Cargo Hold* (can carry 50 metric tons) w/ loading ramp in the rear

*Half of the cargo hold can be changed in to a brig or a weapons bay, reducing the carry weight to 30 tons.

Armament:

- Rotating twin heavy-laser turret
-Two missile tubes
-Two forward-facing fixed light cannons (under ship)

Equipment:
- 3 escape pods (and the SSDLS)
- Heavy Ray Shields
- Light deflector shields
- Advanced communications system
- Small medical suite

Consumables: 5 months

Speed: 45 MGLT
30 MGLT w/ full cargo

Hyperdrive Rating: Class 4 Primary Hyperdrive, Class 12 Backup.

Maneuverability: Medium maneuverability. By no means is it extremely maneuverable, but it isn't sluggish either. It accelerates at an intermediate pace. It can also dive rather quickly due to the swiveling primary thruster in the rear.

Description: The MK1-KCA is a large freighter built for those who prefer necessity over luxury. Due to it's large, modifiable cargo bay, it's heavy armor, and it's medium armaments, the KCA is meant to outlast starfighters and other freighters in combat. Otherwise, it's sole purpose is to provide the owner with a smooth, spacious ride from point A to point B.

Heavily armored, and well armed, the MK1-KCA is built primarily from durasteel and alusteel. The heavy front (and forward-side) plating on the ship has trimantium elements in it to help protect the hull, should the shields break. In the spirit of survival, the ship also four escape pods and an extremely small short-distance landing shuttle (SSDLS).It also features a primitive med bay, 3 personal quarters, and two bunking areas; each with a small bathroom.

The MK1-KCA was invented by an anonymous source and is made by dissociated shipwrights on Tatooine to provide heavily armored freighters for the smugglers that consistently passed through the planet. Each ship is made to order by the shipwrights, so there's never a surplus and the ship is very rarely seen throughout the galaxy.

Body is light, and the mouthfeel smooth.

Nose shows some clove and banana bread, with a soft wheat-husk background, nutty yeast, hints of citrus and a brush of floral.

Arriving in a 22-ounce brown bomber, this ale clocks in at 62 IBUs, which tells us there is a substantial amount of hops here, and a hefty 7.9 percent alcohol by volume speaks for itself.

Poured from a stubby 12-ounce brown bottle into a Belgian-style chalice, the beer appears a rich, semi-hazed, deep brown with ruddy hues; a creamy beige head dresses the top, with a wispy center and ringed lace. Malt base is even, with the taste of dark overripe stone
