Speaking of which, said base-to-be, Vixus, will be on one of the moons of Alba, on an island in an underground ocean. A perfect place to hide, or so it would seem.
 Yoh. Some security we have in clan fett... It's a secret base. I'm not even officially a member. I COULD HAVE BEEN A SPY! and you all could have lost the secret of the secret base before the secret base even existed.

Fortunately there are rules to protect us from such eventualities. :charmed:

Find such international treaties in print! I want to see for myself. I am a Cristian man... I have faith, but a little bit of evidence is quite reassuring.

Good to see you still kicking liv! So about this secret base...Have we already lost it? I plugged into the GPS and it took me in 3 different directions - dont even get me started with the construction sites it took me through.

Well, you know how it is with secret bases. There's always a classified top secret speciment or two that gets out and shuts down the whole facility. It happened in Dulce, it happened at Area 51. It'll probably happen with our base too sooner or later. XD

lol Underground cave, eh? Nice.

We got any subs?

Also, Liv, in case you check here before PMs or the OOC thread for Avoiding Capture: sorry for the altering of plans and length of my last post. >.> Also, to any new Fetts: if you're looking for some action there are at least two options: The Shadow Veil thread that is underway and Avoiding Capture. Although, the latter is about three quarters of the way thru, but it should still be possible to fit you guys in.

I'm fine with posting in both Avoiding Capture and Shadow Veil (when it's available). Though, my besakar hasn't been approved yet. I'll find a way around it. I like the way Avoiding Capture's story is going so far. Very intriguing.

No worries, Befallen. It's what happens in roleplays sometimes. XD

Lord, we can definitely use your help in Breaching the Veil. I'mma whip up another post (finally!) today and get things moving there again. Then we're relocating to our hidden base, finally. And then, I may have another gig for us.

(In addition to that of course, I'm finally going to get back to whipping up those missions for us. Until then please remember we have an agreement with the Cartel, that any Clan Fett members can also sign up for Cartel missions.)

Posted in Breaching the Veil. Not my best post ever, but it'll do for now. The next one will have more action.

I'm whipping up a list of new missions right now. I decided since I knew I had it somewhere to look up the writeup for Fett's new base on Muphosa, the moon of Alba. This is it, for y'all's benefit, criticism, compliments and such.

Buir'caf'ta|Mother Base ("Cin Vhetin")

When Verus Fett once visited the planet of Alba, he was told by a friend of the moon Muphosa. Muphosa had a unique trait that made it ideal as a homeworld for Clan Fett. Muphosa had a single sea facing Alba, but this sea was a sprout for an underground ocean, located under the very land mass that was the vast rolling plains of Muphosa.

Intrigued by this, the Fetts investigated it. They found an entire world located under the continent, an ocean and an enormous system of caverns with thousands of natural tunnels, hundreds of underground islands, and all of it hidden out of sight in barely visible tunnel openings located under the surface of the sea.

It was here that Clan Fett would proceed to build their home.

Lok had never been a true home for Clan Fett, merely a refugee camp and temporary camp. Their true homeworld had always been Concord Dawn. But Concord Dawn was lost, and times were changing for the Mandalorians, and so Clan Fett too needed to change. They needed a new homeworld, and they found it on Muphosa, the moon of Alba. It was here that they built Mother Base, or Buir'caf'ta, more commonly referred to as Cin Vhetin, a Mandalorian term meaning "a clean slate" or a fresh start.

The base was built on one of the larger islands in the underground ocean, with money earned from Clan Fett's mercenary ventures and their expedition to the Shadow Veil. The location under several kilometers worth of land masse makes it a tactically sound location, as it is untoucheable by aerial bombardment. Due to iron and other minerals in the soils of Muphosa, interference also made it exceedingly difficult to locate the base by orbital scanning.

The base itself, which at any time houses a majority of Clan Fett's members, houses everything that the Clan needs to sustain itself, even through a siege. It is surrounded by durasteel walls on all sides, complete with reinforced repeater blaster positions and laser turrets for stationary defense. The water surrounding the base also has remote detonated sea mines anchored to the bottom in case of an invasion of the area.

Inside the base, which houses barracks with room for up to 500 people - though only 150 to 200 of these cots are taken at any one time by Fett members - the Fetts make their daily life as farmers possible through the widespread use of advanced hydroponic farms, from which most of their food comes. Meat, while not a necessary part of the Fetts' diet, is provided for comfort by trade with the peoples of Alba, and fish, and water, is taken from the ocean and purified on base, making the facility virtually self-sustained.

The base defense systems are powered by a power generator salvaged from an old capital ship, and located in the center of and under the base in a sink specially built for the purpose. There are also backup generators in five locations around the base, each smaller, but together making up the same amount of power as the big central generator, but these are used only in case the central generator fails.

The base also has a surveillance center, from where all security around the base is regulated and controlled. The surveillance center has access to hidden unmanned radar positions placed on the moon's surface, which allows for warning of any vessels approaching the moon or its mother planet. It also communicates with and organize the patrols and the checkpoint at the entrance to the cavern system, as well as controls the remote detonated sea mines that have been planted all over the tunnels around the base. The surveillance center also has a live communications feed with Fett personnel stationed at the Mandalorian Barracks on Nal'Hutta, through a series of heavily encrypted relays.

The area in where Mother Base is located is a virtual maze, with hundreds of tunnels and bi-tunnels leading to countless ways out of the underground ocean, making it difficult to find the base in said maze, unless you know exactly where to search.

The main entrance and tunnel used by Clan Fett, however, is continually patrolled by Fett soldiers. In addition, there is a small military checkpoint at the "main entrance", with laser turrets and remote detonated mines, allowing for effective control of anyone who approaches the base, and advanced alert in case of an attack. Explosives have also been placed along the main entrance to allow for an emergency collapse of it should it be necessary to cover a retreat by Clan Fett.

The maze of tunnels surrounding Mother Base allows for many hidden escape tunnels in case the base should ever fall.

That should keep us relatively safe if approved. I'm yet unsure as to how to get an approval. I have gotten approval (after the genocide matter) to actually move Clan Fett, I have gotten approval for the loot and the actual carrying out of the Shadow Veil mission, but I also need approval for the base itself.

My only complaint (since I'm totally a stickler for details and visualizing things) is that I have no idea what the base itself looks like or how its laid out. Its been generalized too much. I know there are walls, with assumed gates and doors, emplacement positions and guard towers and there are barracks that can house up to 500 Mandalorians. I know there are five back up generators scattered about the base. I know that the island its on is a kilometer or so big. I can see the tunnels, fields, ocean and security, but not the base itself. How many stories are the building? How tall is the cavern? How exactly is the base laid out? Are the walls built in a star pattern? Or do they form some variation of a box? How many buildings are there? How many barracks? Just one ginormous one or several smaller ones that are connected? Are these barracks more akin to separate homes, or hostels or more military in nature? What of the amenities? Is there a TOC? A CIC? Is there a yard for drilling? Help me see the base itself. Likewise, is there an alternate way into the base? Could someone take a sub or scuba dive into it? Yes, it would be presumably dangerous what with the unexplored wildlife and the Sea Serpents, but still, is it plausible?

Fair points. I've posted this on the expansion request thread place already, but I may have to add the details once I have the concept itself approved. :D

Relatives doesn't necessarily have to be so by blood in the Mandalorian culture, though. We're all brothers and sisters in Clan Fett, blood or no blood. :mongo:
