Karva waited until Rehni had disappeared from view before goin to the workbench by the racks. She thought on her previous lightsaber's design, it was simple. The cylinder was not decorative at all with a few modest additions for a comfortable grip. Setting the crystal at the center of the table and activated the light. The yellow rock glowed strangely as beams of luminescence poured through and cast its color on the lethan twi'lek's bright red skin, creating a vibrant orange hue.

Collecting the components she set to work on the weapon. First she took a brick of metal and formed it into a curved cylinder. She etched in some ribs at the mid-section of the hilt for an assured hold and added a rubber boot on the base. She sorted the parts for assembly and then pulled her hands to her side. She focused on the Force and began the difficult process of building the lightsaber.

Rehni had confidence in her padawan, when she was done with her lightsaber, Karva would know where to find her Master.

Karva spent an hour in total assembling her new lightsaber once the components had been arranged. Every connector locked into place perfectly as proof of proper construction. The hilt was mummified in brown leather straps, giving it an entirely natural appearance. The weapon would replace her old lightsaber, which she would keep as a spare.

Collecting herself, the padawan took the completed hilt and whisked it off to find Rehni. She opened herself to the Force, letting it guide her to where the Jedi Knight was, and presented her completed weapon. "I have finished, Master."

Rehni felt Karva's presence, she herself was in a training room practicing with her blade in meditation. She stopped the second before the door open to greet Karva and her new blade.

"Sees it let." grinned Rehni, using a gentle Force pull to bring the blade to her as she examined it, "Before wes finishing training, can you telling me the code and what it meaning to you?" she asked handing back her blade.

"Emotion, yet peace," began Karva as she clutched her lightsaber hilt to her chest. This portion of the code struck a chord in the padawan. Having lost her first instructor recently she was still mourning. But did she have to anymore? The time to move on was now. The twi'lek quelled her emotions as if being enlightened and continued to recite the code. "Ignorance, yet knowledge. Passion, yet serenity. Chaos, yet harmony. Death, yet the Force."

Karva let her hands drop and looked up at Rehni with confidence burning in her eyes. "The code embodies what it means to be a Jedi. We control our emotions, we do not let them control us. We are not infallible, just like everyone else we do make mistakes. We must help others and ourselves to overcome ignorance for a better Galaxy. We must never act rashly, no matter how we feel. Keeping our actions under our guidance will aid us in serving the Light. Despite that, not everything goes according to our wishes, we must accept that sometimes the will of the Force supercedes our own. And finally we must accept that all things inevitably perish as part of the natural order. But we become one with the Force."

Rehni listened carefully to her padawan, she could still sense the sadness she held in her heart of her former master. "Controlling yourself and letting the Force controlling you." she replied to her padawan, "Nevers doubting yourself Karva, you ising a fines Jedi, yours former Master woulding proud. Your pasts ising hows its ising. Keeping moving forward, honoring your master that away, suring he woulding want that."

Karva Nise nodded in response to Rehni's words. She had been slowly coming to grips with her last master's demise. It was a testament to her loyalty that she still thought of him and the Jedi Master who rescued her as a child. Getting past it became easier when the final words of the code sunk in once again. Death, yet the Force.

"Yes, Master." She said with a smile.
