Trael sat in the middle of the training room meditating. A Sith holocron was open and floating around him as he took in the knowledge. He still had some time before the first students should be arriving and he wanted to have the forms fundamentals well covered before starting to teach it. His interest in the form steams from it being extremely similar to what he was trying to achieve with his combination of form VI and V. It was called Form X though Trael didn't understand why as there was no Form VIII and VIV.
After having the basics down to a comfortable degree in terms of knowledge he decided to take the remainder of his free time to put them into practice. Turning on the practice droid he had brought to demonstrate to the students. As he went through the motions following the basic disciplines of the form he quickly realized how different it was to his usual style of fighting.
His heavy sweeping attacks were replace with quick precise ones. Instead of twisting or spinning to gain and advantage on a blade counter he pivoted and used the angle of his blade to make an opening. It was a complete difference to how he would counter as well. His standard counter would be to use his strength to bat the other weapon away then follow up with a quick strike to finish off. Following the form it was a redirection using the blade followed by a quick strike.
After running himself through the basics he still had a few minutes to spare simply returning to meditating trying to get some of the forms attack patterns memorized. He already had the training sabers ready and backups incase any broke. He was slightly nervous being forced to teach a form you are learning is not the best way to make an impression on the acolytes even if he is a decent duelist.
//OOC note: This is open to any Sith that want to have their pc learn dueling basics regardless of rank. I just felt that with the influx of acolytes and the lack of academic academy stuff it would be cool to host some kind of class.
