Validus Voluntas sat on the ship headed for Tatooine. He was making a stride in his career today. He was going to attempt to kill a krayt dragon, collect the pearls, and assemble a custom lightsaber. In the last several days he had read a good amount on Krayt dragons. They were massive, powerful, cunning and extremely dangerous creatures. He was going to attempt to kill a Canyon Krayt Dragon but if he was a approached by a greater Krayt dragon he would take that on instead, but they were rare. He had carefully studied all of the weak points of a Krayt dragon. Speed and precision would be necessary. Validus would only get one shot at this and he would have to make it count. If he didn't, he would die. He brought with him his lightsaber, a compass, a bag with various machinery designed to confuse or lure the dragon, a blaster, several packs of water, and some cash. He had an Eopie already on hold for him on Tatooine.
Tatooine itself was a large barren place. It was mostly desert but there was a good deal of rock and molted crust. The planet itself with the heat would be dangerous enough. He was slightly scared, as any sane person would be. But he quickly dispelled this emotion from his body and focused in the force. He would need all of his force energy possible for the coming struggle. He heard the speaker announce that they were nearing Tatooine. He sat up and prepared himself for this. He could now see the planet. It was more barren than he could have imagined. The seeming red surface of the planet showed the heat beating down on the desert sands. He picked up his equipment. He was confident. This was to be a great chance for him. The craft slowly neared the planet and descended onto the hot, dry, dangerous surface of the planet.
Validus leaped out of the craft with his pack on and headed straight away towards the desert. He collected his Eopie from the traders whom he had prepaid and left for the desert. He rode for the center of the desert where he would be likely to find a Krayt dragon. He rode rapidly away from the station and watched and waited for something to happen. Hour upon hour he rode for two days straight with only stops for rest and water without seeing anything at all. He hoped to see or hear something soon. He was constantly alert. He had to be since he was riding his bait. He, in a sense, was part of the bait for the Krayt dragon. But, out here Krayts weren't the only threat. He continued riding and watching.
