Coffee Break Discussions

Primula walked into the small break room in the Senate building. After a few hours of hearing proposals of balanced budgets, grant in aid funds for numerous planets, along with the recent tribunal of senators she had served on about a military issue, she was ready for a break. Not to mention a cup of coffee.

Ordering one from the vending droid she waited as the service droid began brewing it and sat at one of the small tables. Almost no one else had chosen this break room which was exactly why she liked coming here. She pulled her datapad from her shirt pocket and began looking at her schedule for the rest of the proceedings today. Enthralled when she found there were only a few hours of delegation left for today's agenda she smiled slightly to herself as the droid arrived to her table to hand her the coffee she had ordered. She nodded and have an absent minded "thanks" before returning to looking at her datapad once again, planning how she would spend the rest of the day, and if she would bother returning to Taanab seeing as how she would just need to be back again in just 24 hours. So wrapped up in her scheduling she hardly noticed someone else had entered the room besides herself.

Dwight Antilles had a little unfinished business at the senate building. Since the tail-end of the Alderaan investigation came along and he couldn't continue with his duties as Alderaan's represenative in the senate, he pretty much avoided Coruscant all together after the investigation committee's craft touched down and went elsewhere, finding out what's next to him. After finding out what is next and renewed vigor, the ex-Senator elected to go to Coruscant, he had things he wanted/needed to do. And while he was at it, he wanted to pay the senate building just one more visit. It came to mind never did get a chance to get his stuff out of his office now. Is the office going to be the way he left it? Perhaps, Perhaps not.

There's probably not going to be anyone filling in for Senator of Alderaan anytime soon, so maybe. Wearing some more casual clothing, after getting a visitors pass from the receptionists, Dwight started to head to where his office was. But felt a little bit thirsty, so he instead went off in another direction. There was this one lounge in the building. It's a small one, and rather obscure. He didn't feel like saying hello to anyone, he just wanted to get a soda from a vending machine and leave. News wouldn't have spread like wildfire of the ex-Senator's new job, he's just a Junior Moff after all, but he would rather avoid a potentially awkward conversation just in case.

When he opened the break room door, to his surprise, he could see the Junior Senator of Taannab sitting at a smaller table looking at a datapad. Primula came on the Republic Senate later than Dwight did, and not long after the Alderaanian was forced out of his position by Lucille, they never really met and they never really interacted with each other. She hasn't seem to have noticed him yet, so he went over to the vending machine, trying not to interrupt the ever so busy woman, and pay for a soda from there. The sound the machine would make might alert her.
