(Non Canon. Sorry it's short, I'm mobile.)

The planet glittered, much like a gem, with its crystalline structures towering high above the few cities that marked its cold surface. Above, the sky was black, as a frigid night had fallen around the world, wrapping it in an eerie, yet fascinating darkness. The town was quiet, asides from a few that lurked the streets, either up to no good, or working late. Mygeeto seemed desolate, and offered its visitors an empty feeling. Once locked in the grasp of a fierce ice age, it's current status was quite calm, with flakes of ivory drifting to the ground, intent on covering it in an icey blanket.

Blue eyes studied the features carefully, cold and calculating, with a slight glimmer of hate for the world. What monsters hid in the shadows, here? What vermin crawled through the streets each day? It was a first time visitfor Thamis, and not one he wished to remember. But for the time being, he was stuck in the forsaken land, with his ship too damaged for travel, and the idea of his stay brought a curse from his lips, quiet and almost inaudible. At least, while he was here, he could do some good by ending the suffering of the residents. And then he would loot all he needed, and fix his ship for the ride home.

With his muscled legs bringing his heavy frame down the dark street, his form clad in black robes, Thamis drew close to his first target near a small bank. An old man, appearing drunk, making his way toward one of the allies nearby. There was nothing he could have done, when a crimson light saber was ignited through his back, cutting through flesh and bone like a knife through jelly. A grunt was uttered, before Thamis's chosen victim collapsed face first to the ice, as his attacker, his features stoic to show neither satisfaction or displeasure, pulled the weapon free and turned to view the startled onlookers with a piercing gaze, before Thamis advanced toward them with a twirl of his saber.

"Do not fear. This procedure...Will be relatively painless." He assured smoothly, his tone eerily dark. As the words were spoken, a sliver of a smirk danced across his face, before his scowl returned, to wipe the sinister display away.

Shortly approaching the Sith Acolyte, Zextripon got his lightsaber at arm's reach. "Thamis Galisdoren, right? You don't look as scary as I have heard." Now, he made a move, carefully coming closer to the Sith Acolyte. "Let's see what you are made of. Throw a hit at me." Zextripon made his killer move. His opponent striking first is his best opportunity to make the battle a good one. "Bring it on."

There was no figure that escaped the sharpness of his gaze, and so the challenger approached with a firm glare from Thamis, as the man turned upon noticing the aggression that fell from the Chiss's muscled body in waves. A small frown slid across the Sith's face, as his pupils flitted between the face of his opponent and the weaponry he carried. His own name was thrust upon him in a rather unruly fashion, and how this man had attained such information was curious, to say the least. After further study, this challenger didn't seem like much, despite bearing a well molded frame, that Thamis knew possessed a great strength. But strength wasn't everything, and this fool was yet to show his brains.

It was obvious the man had a plan, with the confidence of which he spoke, though despite his apparent want to display his skill in combat, the other male ushered Thamis to make the first strike. Was it any more obvious? Though the Sith had his doubts that his challenger's plans were anywhere near to fool proof, the first punch wasn't something he would throw, if only for the slight satisfaction that came from his resistance, as he failed to oblige, and for the knowledge that would come from his opponent's reaction.

"Hmph." He was somewhat amused by the other man's actions, and had Thamis been an emotional man, he might have laughed in mockery. But the solid sound that he pushed from his chest betrayed no feeling toward the situation, nor did it give way to any intentions. Thamis lowered his own saber, crossing it over his sturdy legs so that it's glowing tip could hover over the ground. But beneath the robes, his frame grew rigid and tense, as he prepared to bring the weapon back up in defense. He saw his opponent had a light saber of his own, though his skill with the weapon, Thamis did not know. Though he was certain he would learn soon enough. For now, he'd probe this new enemy, and discover his weaknesses.

"Feeling cold, eh? Now strike me. What have you got? Or are you too scared, cause I am Chiss?" Zextripon made sure to carefully tempt the Sith into making a hit. This would have given Zextripon the upper hand. On the other hand, Zextripon could act, but the battle will turn to Thamis' favor. That's the last thing Zex wants. He revealed his own lightsaber and had it in his reach should the Sith attack. With careful thoughts, Zextripon knew that all he had to do is release the anger within, and Thamis will be an easy fight.

"Cold?" Thamis repeated the Chiss's question in a stoic tone, as if the voice had come from a robot, lacking in emotion and eerily smooth. There was not even a twitch of a change upon his face, as the dark scowl that had settled earlier refused to budge at the the tug of a revealing expression. For a moment, after the Chiss finished speaking, with his words having little effect on the Sith, silenced stretched, interrupted only by the wind that caressed their features with frigid fingers. Thamis's black cloak flapped at the grasp of the breeze, as it whistled its interest in the duel, stirring the snow anxiously. And then the words were uttered, just as monotone as the previous phrase he had spoken, though his voice has dipped a bit deeper.

"Quite." He was cold in nature. A living glacier, with his heart locked in ice, and his soul frozen, while his blue eyes reflected a harsh blizzard, merciless and unforgiving. Thamis would not be baited with words. Insults were petty, and offered little reason for acknowledgement. It only grew more obvious that the Chiss had a plan that would work only if his opponent struck first. Why would he? Or better yet, why should he attack? A talented warrior wouldn't make plans that worked only one way. So while the Sith would gladly agree to make the first strike out of curiousity for the challenger's plans, his apparent lack of intelligence was not one Thamis wished to reward.

Beneath his robes, Thamis's free hand toyed with one of the carbines that hung at his waist, though the action would not be revealed to his opponent's eyes. Not that it mattered. He did it only for the feeling of security, rather than the intent of sudden attack.

"Ah, so you won't act, eh?" Zextripon was clearly not getting anything from Thamis. He had only one option, to fool Thamis into attacking with the one thing Chiss are very good at doing: release the anger within him. He knew Thamis had anger. All he had to do is unleash the fire. "I know you all too well, Thamis. You were a lonely person. Losing your family, isn't it nice? What would you do if I told you that the Chiss made you the lonely man you are? I am Chiss after all."

OOC: I chose to have a little lie here, just to make the duel a bit interesting.

Perhaps it would be kind to inform the man of his faults. His lies were certainly one of them. It was not Chiss that had killed his mother, and even if it were, they were long dead, now. Thamis had already taken his revenge, though it had offered little satisfaction. But there was no time nor reason to dwell on the past. It didn't matter any more. Thamis had long since buried his feelings for the events of his life. He now only looked to the future, playing out his life as if it were a game of chess, as a pawn, just like everyone else. His firm, blue eyes narrowed at the Chiss, granting him a distasteful look. Could he have tried any harder? Could this fool have wasted any more time? Why challenge another, if you have no intention of making the first blow? And why did it matter? Every hit could be countered, every plan could be ruined, and every strength was a weakness. One could only hold the upper hand for so long, before their opponent snatched the advantage from their grasp.

"You're trying too hard." The Sith stated flatly, in the same robotic tone that he always used. Beneath his cloak, in a nearly unnoticeable action, his free hand moved from the carbine to peak out of the clothing. A flick of his wrist, as Thamis drew upon the force in an effort to stagger the Chiss backwards a few steps. The acolyte might have been intelligent, but he was no expert in the force, and so he wouldn't bother the attempt of sending his enemy flying from a vicious force push. There was hardly a second passed when the Sith lunged, dragging his crimson saber behind him, gathering momentum, before bringing it forth to sweep through the air in a diagonal arch aimed to slice the Chiss from left hip to right shoulder.

A pivot brought Thamis around to the the Chiss's side, as he once more attempted to push his opponent back a few steps with the force, followed by the quick and fluid formation of an X, as the Sith lashed out with his saber. He was no master with the art of Ataru, but Thamis had trained for many years in the ways of combat and war, and while he might not be a perfected duelist, he was confident enough now, through careful study of his opponent, that he'd be able to defend himself from whatever counter strike the Chiss planned. Taking a half leap backwards, Thamis crossed his saber over his chest and prepared bring it forth once more, when his challenger would attack. The lightsaber's red glow set the skin of his face shining eerily, warming his features while giving his gaze a demonic lighting.

Taking a hard push to the chest, Zextripon was still on his feet and alive. He knew that the first strike was made. Zextripon got what he wanted. A quick turn to right allowed him to avoid the diagonal slash. "Now the battle is on." Zextripon deepened his voice and ignited his lightsaber. Now, Zextripon's Ataru skills came into play. With a lunge, Zextripon clashed his crimson lightsaber with that of Thamis. The Chiss had the stage set for a long-lasting battle. Zextripon evaded the lash made by Thamis, and jumped back a little distance.

It had certainly not been his intention to send the Chiss flying, and so, as expected, he remained on his feet, recovering quickly from the light stagger Thamis had given him. He showed he was quick when he evaded the Sith's saber, set to deliver what would have been a lethal blow. As Thamis moved to attack a second time, he found his opponent had parried, despite the stagger he once more received. But it didn't matter. Here was another prime example of the Chiss's apparent lack of intelligence. Was he attempting to play that card on purpose, to lower Thamis's guard? It wouldn't work. He was prepared for it. And if it turned out that this challenger truly was a fool, then the fight would end much more quickly than one might have expected.

As Thamis took his leap backwards, he assessed the situation with a calculating gaze. The Chiss seemed physically capable enough. He was quick to recover, countering Thamis's quick strokes with a swiftness of his own. So he was both very agile and strong? It wasn't your typical stereotype, but it wasn't uncommon, either. He, too, possessed excellent control over his body. When the Chiss failed to attack in the few moments Thamis had been a few feet back, the Sith took initiative once more, charging forth in a seemingly head on attack, before flitting lightly around the Chiss's side, revealing his feint in that brief second before Thamis brought him saber in an effort to slice it across his opponent's ribs.

The attack was followed by a quick, backwards dance as Thamis retraced his steps, twisting around and thrusting his saber toward the challenger's shoulder, whilst attempting to grab the Chiss's arm with his free hand, and swing the man around with the idea of sending him sprawling to the snow. "Indeed." Thamis muttered his reply in a deep voice. Within his head, every possible scenario the acolyte could think up was already playing upon his thoughts, as the Sith prepared once more for an attack, despite the Chiss's earlier lack of offense. He was by no means intimidated, nor worried, though his untrusting nature already had the man searching for hidden motives in his enemy. A frown now marked his features, though for what reason was not revealed.

Clashing his lightsaber with that of Thamis was the only Zextripon could have avoided a cut across the chest. He then , with a cross of hands, blocked the incoming strike to his shoulder and grabbed Thamis' hand before he could manage to react. He then used Force Push to knock back Thamis. Zextripon had a moment of thought. Had he responded like he should have, he might have still had the battle in his favor. It was obvious to him, that there was a lack of offensive power coming from Zextripon. He needed to get the favor back. Zextripon had to stop acting foolish and turn his game face on. He needed a good strike. He crouched and used Force Push to knock Thamis off his feet. Then with a silent move, he tied a little scarf he had with him and covered Thamis' eyes. "You can't really fight when you can't see it coming. Can you, Thamis?"

Unfortunately, it wouldn't he as simple as the Chiss had envisioned it. He was dealing with a trained combatant, after all, even if Thamis was no master in his form, or with the force. His sharp mind processed the rising hand of his opponent, though he hadn't expected the Chiss to be force sensitive , and so it came as a bit of a surprise when he found himself flying back. But he was quick to react, swiftly adapting to the sudden change as Thamis's strong legs pushed him off of the ground and into a back flip. The action ensured that he wouldn't be flung off his feet, as he moved with the force the Chiss has attempted to attack him with. The Sith landed a few feet back, staggering for a brief moment to be sure he didn't fall.

If the Chiss was trying to step up his game, he was failing. Now Thamis knew he was force sensitive, and he'd be ready for it next time. He noticed the scarf that had materialized in the Chiss's hand as he advanced, certainly with the intention of crippling Thamis by blinding him, or he had the idea of suffocating the Sith, but that was unlikely. It wouldn't have worked out in the Chiss's favor. But attempting to blind him with a scarf wouldn't offer much of an advantage either, considering Thamis could have just torn it off. He had stopped counting all the foolish decisions of his opponent. He must not have been a very experienced fighter, and if he was, then he must have been fighting opponents of a similar intellectual level.

"Pitiful." Thamis growled at his opponent's approach. Was this fight even worth his time? Was it worth his effort? It wasn't like he was on a schedule. There was no where he needed to go, and as for the effort, there had been little as of yet. He might as well toy with the man a bit. The night was cold, but it wasn't something the Sith bothered to acknowledge. It was a familiar feeling on the inside. There was little reason to resist its touch on the outside. Thamis raised his own hand, calling on the force in an effort to jerk his opponent towards him, and into the light saber that he swung at the Chiss's waist. But if that was some how avoided, Thamis followed up with an attempt to trip his opponent, and bring his knee hard into his stomach.

A Force Pull from Thamis was not something that Zextripon had prepared for. He parried the hit towards his waist, but couldn't avoid falling off his feet and taking a hit to the stomach. He needed to respond. His response was a kick aimed at Thamis' crotch. This gave Zextripon the chance to get back on his feet. With hopes to immobilize Thamis, Zextripon crouched and swung his foot 180 degrees, to knock Thamis off his feet. He then took off Thamis' right hand index finger, with the intent to force Thamis in fighting with his left hand, something that not many could do.

Once more the Chiss's ambitions got ahead of his mind. Side stepping the kick, Thamis waited for his opponent to regain his footing. He had been lucky to bring his lightsaber up in time to avoid being sliced in half, though it was odd that the hit to the stomach didn't immobilize the man. Normally, when one was hit in the stomach, they doubled over in reaction. You'd have to have pretty thick skin to avoid that, which it seemed the Chiss had. Not that it mattered. Thick skin would do nothing against a lightsaber. Next time he'd just remember to hit harder. With his gaze trained on the Chiss, Thamis observed his crouch, and expected either a lunge, or a kick. When his expectations were fulfilled, he already had a plan.

Thamis plunged his lightsaber into the ground beside his own legs in a motion that lasted hardly a second. If his opponent continued his effort to knock Thamis to the ground, he'd find instead his own lack of footing. Quite literally. But despite preventing the kick from hitting with the dangerous obstacle he had planted in the way, Thamis's body was still braced for attack, and he remained alert. So when the man attempted to take off one the Sith's fingers, not that his plan would have worked anyway, Thamis brought up his own blade to crash against Zextripon's.

He held it steady for a moment, before stepping to his left and flicking his saber around the Chiss's so that it grinded against the opposite side, with sparks dancing around the weapons as they cackled with protest at the contact. Within the same moment, the Sith slid his blade down the length of his opponent's, intending to slice into it's hilt, and render it useless, as well as into the Chiss's hand, as a quick twirl of the glowing weapon brought it forth on a path to sever the man's wrist. Whether the attack was successful or not, Thamis didn't pause to find out. From the saber's current position, he attempted to bring it up, making an effort to cut across Zextripon's chest, before it would through his throat and glide right through the Chiss's head in a swift uppercut.

Thamis flipped his hand around, slashing the air to the left of his opponent as he brought the blade close and leapt backward to view his handiwork. In the case that his attacks had not been successful, the acolyte was well prepared to defend himself once more. To Sith Lords, he was no match. To Jedi, he'd likely loose. Even to other acolytes. But to this Chiss, it seemed the fight was already won. He had displayed a foolishness and lack of wisdom that gave Thamis a great advantage. But he would not drop his guard now. He knew the tides could change in an instant. Throwing a fierce glare at his challenger, the Sith waited for the fight to continue.

Zextripon was startled by Thamis' show of moves. He switched hands to avoid his lightsaber being sliced in half and his wrist being severed. With a swift move, Zextripon parried the cut across the chest. Holding the parry as long as he can, was vital to Zextripon's next move. He kicked Thamis in the stomach, then a swift double kick to the head would have knocked Thamis out cold. His next move was something Thamis couldn't do, Force Grab. Zextripon used Force Grab to pick up Thamis and then thrust him at a building, hopefully knocking out Thamis for good. With his lack of wit, Zextripon believed that he had the battle now.

As expected, the fight continued. Though the Chiss was yet to gain ground. The first kick, Thamis knocked aside with his fist. He ducked beneath the second few that his opponent had intended to slam into his skull, displaying expert reflexive ability that he had honed over the years. There would be no knock outs for him any time soon. Then the Chiss attacked with the force again, something Thamis had little training in, and he had to question where the guy had learned his own little tricks. Perhaps one of his parent's had been force sensitive, and had offered some training, much like his own father. Had Thamis been more experienced in the force, he may have avoided his opponent's attack, and probably would have delivered a powerful counter strike of his own.

In the end, though, it didn't matter. As Thamis was flung toward the wall, he flipped around and braced himself, slamming into it's surface feet first. On impact, his knees buckled to prevent any damage to the limbs. After a second's recovery, before gravity could take effect, Thamis sprung from the wall, twisting through the air in an acrobatic performance and landing just inches from the Chiss with his lightsaber already flashing for his stomach. But he wouldn't loose his momentum there. Still moving forward, He pushed out with the force, hoping to knock him back. The Sith's lightsaber flicked around to arch through air for the Chiss's arm, while he called for the aid of the force once more in an effort to fling his opponent into the air.

That wouldn't he the end of it. If his former attack had been successful, and his opponent was now airborne, Thamis would leap up and attempt to meet the Chiss on his way down with a few firm punches to the face and a strike with his saber in an attempt to cut across his ribs. If, by some small chance, Zextripon managed to stay grounded, then Thamis would instead charge forward and leap around to the Chiss's side, where he would spin in an effort to slice across his side. Either way, the Chiss had gained no advantage in the duel, despite his success at throwing Thamis into the wall. If anything, the fight had gone in a completely opposite direction to what his opponent had intended.

Zextripon had managed to avoid getting his arm cut off. With a swift use of Force Push, Zextripon sent Thamis flying backwards before he could him up in the air. He wasn't able to keep up. Therefore, he had to unleash his own anger. He had to use a technique known by his family. Arcana Rage. With a use of Force Speed, Zextripon got up close and personal to Thamis. He then made a series of lightsaber hits, one after another, to pincushion Thamis. He then used Force Grab and sent him flying at another building. Had this knocked him out cold, Zextripon would finish him with a Force Jump and thrust through the heart with his lightsaber.

Once more, he flipped backwards to prevent flying from his feet. The Chiss was getting desperate. He was learning that the fight was not in his favor, despite Thamis making the first strike, and he was angry. Probably frustrated. The Sith, however, kept his cool. He didn't feel threatened. He would not loose his temper, either, unlike the Chiss. While anger could certainly be molded into a powerful weapon, it made one reckless, and undisciplined. It was something he'd only use as a last second effort. Thamis offered no show of emotion as his opponent approached in a blur, lashing out in a series of wild attacks with his lightsaber. They were not aimed at any specific place, suggesting that the Chiss was doing exactly as Thamis had thought he would, loosing control, and going berserk.

Their lightsabers danced and clashed, as each hit was parried with a shower of sparks. But the Sith needed some breathing room. Leaping back and out of reach, he raised his hand and issued forth one of his strongest force pushes yet. The action had been more instinctive than anything, it wasn't something he thought to do, but it prevented the acolyte from being flung into a wall, and sent out a blast that could send the Chiss flying backwards and into a building of his own, potentially crashing right through the wall, given the power of his push, and from there, he would probably slam into the floor with a very unlikely chance of getting back up again. Hopefully, it'd be the end of the fight, in which case Thamis would leave the Chiss lying in the dark with little care for following him in there.

Desperate in power, and after a hard hit to the wall, Zextripon had nothing left of him. Thamis clearly wished to finish him. But Zextripon had one last trick up his sleeve. One Thamis couldn't possibly avoid. Zextripon used the last of his power to Force Pull Thamis to him, then used an ability he never completely knew how to use, Force Choke. He choked Thamis to his death. When Thamis was down, Zextripon sent a super hard hit to the chest, that Thamis may not have survived. He will come out the victor in this battle.

As he was jerked toward his opponent, Thamis drew his lightsaber near to prevent loosing his grip on it. Upon landing, he lashed out at the Chiss's stomach. He was getting rather irritated by his enemy's knowledge of the force, wherever he had gotten it from. Knowing that it seemed to be a favored action of the man, he was well prepared for the hand Zextripon brought up, and he was ready to prevent any further problems involving the force, by using it himself. Thamis felt the strange sensation of something squeezing his neck, despite no physical contact being made. But he didn't panic.

Again, the Sith delivered a force push in an effort to knock the Chiss back a second time, preventing him from going through with his former plan. Even if it didn't hit, it would free Thamis from the choke hold and allowed for breath to flow freely again. Though the push was not as powerful as the last, it still possessed the strength to send the Chiss to the ground. Perhaps, if the Sith's opponent had not have risen from from his last attack, he would have walked away relatively unharmed, but now he would face further beating. A second force push, as Thamis attempted to prevent the Chiss from rising, and then he charged.

If the force choke had been an accident, then there was little worry of Zextripon using it again. As Thamis ran at his opponent, he dragged his saber across the ground behind him, carving a jagged line into the ice before leaping up and twisting over the Chiss, with his lightsaber coming down toward his head. Thamis stuck the landing with ease, whipping around to swing his humming red blade at the Chiss's back, followed by a third force push as the Sith attempted to send him staggering forward. At the same time, he stepped in and thrusted out with his saber, giving the intent of stabbing through flesh, where he would then attempt to bring the saber up through the length of the Chiss's body.

Zextripon couldn't survive the numerous Force Pushes given from Thamis. Zextripon saw the move coming, and jumped behind Thamis to avoid his back being cut. Zextripon only had two things left. Two abilities that he had completely no idea of how to properly use. He tried the first he knew, but had no idea how to properly use. He had no idea, that he was using Force Drain, something that only his grandparents knew how to use. He thought the attack would stop Thamis from throwing anymore unexpected pushes. He then used Force Speed and flied towards Thamis and jumped up to kick him on the back. He then would finish him with a series of Ataru moves, had Thamis fallen to the ground.
