Davik already despised his new alignment to the Wandering Marauders. Pirates doing piraty stuff was one thing, and mostly enjoyable too, but having to go around the galaxy to recruit independent pirates was just so annoying. Especially because somehow all these pirates ended up hiding on annoying planets like Ziost, Hoth or indeed, Tatooine. So with sand in his Onderon-leather shoes and basically everywhere else as well, Davik entered a cantina he knew to be filled with lowlife scum, like himself. He'd have a glass of Bantha milk first and then start looking for this Colton fella. Maybe, if he was lucky, Colton would be in this cantina himself and spare him the speeder rides through the deserts.

De'vad had been on Tatooine finalizing a deal when the message came through from the bounty hunter guild. "Some Hutt says there's a twenty thousand credit bounty on someone planeside. Seeing as your there already it only makes sense to offer it to you." it was a bitter sweet slice of information. On one hand twenty thousand credits, while on the other an extended stay on the horrifically sandy landscape that was Tatooine.

In any case it was a good habit to read the details of who he was going after, it was just a simple arena fighter a cut bellow the high end targets De'vad usually went after. Why twenty thousand, if this guys got that kind of money to throw away, hell I'll fight for him. he thought to himself, continuing to read the information. Regardless of his feelings, he wasn't about to pass up an easy pay day and as soon as the deal was finished, he would get hunting.

Colton was lounging in a booth, inside the very cantina which Davik had entered. He signeled to a near by waiter, and ordered the bantha stake, with a glass of wine. As Colton siped his wine there was a sudden message on his holocommunicator! His previous owner, terron the hutt, had sold him out! Colton was so surpirsed he spit out a whole mouthfull of wine, causing a slight scene, but nothing diffrent then you would usually see in a bar. " Damn it! I'm going to have a word with that hutt!," and with that Colton began to walk out of the bar.

Davik's glass of Bantha milk was placed before him the moment Colton, whom Davik had quickly recognized, spat out a mouthful of wine. Shaking his head, muttering "kids", he took a small flask from his pocket and put a few drops of Glitterstim directly into his milk before putting the flask away again. It was his usual recipe to add some flavor to it and at the same time helped him deal with the intense heat of the planet. After all, getting spiced messed up your body enough to put the cold shivers in you while you fly straight into a star.

Noticing Colton had left his steak untouched, Davik did not rise to go after him to leave, preferring instead to take a first long sip from his milk thinking the pirate would return.

It had taken longer that he had expected to close the deal he was making. Who'd have thought that the people around here would have the bottle to haggle with a guy carrying a repeated of this size. Never the less, a deal had been struck and the money he would be making on this hunt would be more than enough.

De'vad had little information about the likes and dislikes of Colton, with this being tattooing however there was a good bet that he'd be somewhere out of the sun. The local cantina was a good bet and even if he wasn't there, it was always a good place to start. It was several minutes before he turned the corner into the street the cantina was on and as luck would have it, out walked Colton.

Armoured people were fairly common around these parts and he was far enough away to not draw his targets attention. Never the less he began to follow him, his pace remaining steady and calm as to not draw attention to himself. He didn't even draw his weapon at first, but as he got within range of the man he quietly drew for his sidearm and pointed it to the mans head. De'vad couldn't be more than three meters away at this point and he gun draw would be fast and seem less.

"Colton, there's a bounty on your kid. I have a clear shot, how's about you lift your hands up, place them onto the back of your head. Then drop to your knees." De'vad was calm as always, things like this didn't tend to phase him. Even as the crowd began to form around them he kept his eyes fixed on his target, his HuD scanning for potential threats in his field of view and to the sides of him.

Colton turned around to hear the voice of a bounty hunter, apparently the hutt's message was spread faster than Colton had expected. Colton thought of his options, he could run, but that would draw too much attention. He could grab his blasters, but would surly be shot first. That was when Colton remembered something a pirate once told him back at Terron's palace, "When your out of tricks, Improvise."
Colton put his hands in the air, "Alright ya got me..." He began to walk slowly toward De'vad, until he got close enough. Suddenly, Colton launched a right hook strait toward De'vad's helmet. Which if succeeded would buy Colton time to quickly put on his brass knuckles for a scrap.

"Oi there's gonna be a blasterfight outside" a scruffy looking Rodian beamed and most of the cantina guests ran for the windows to take a peek. No one was foolish enough to actually go outside, as that's where you had the risk of getting shot. Davik sighed "this is too much" and dropped some credits on the counter and let his right hand fall down his body to check if his C-210 blaster pistol was still there. It was, and after tapping it twice for good luck the exiled crime lord sighed again and followed Colton out of the cantina.

The heat blinded him for a moment as he stepped outside, but just as he regained his vision he saw the young pirate launching a right hook towards a fully armored bounty hunter. "kids" he shook his head.

Colton was either brave, or stupid. Maybe he was a little bit of both, but De'vad had made his order's very clear and easy to follow for the man, who didn't listen to a single one. The man had begun walking towards him which could be for a number of reasons, but realistically it could only be to get aggressive. If he was going to come quietly, he would be knelt on the floor now.

De'vad could shoot at the guy, pepper a few in his legs and put him to the ground, but that wasn't going to be any fun. If the kid wanted to go, De'vad was more than happy to clash heads. As the man got closer to him, his hands still up in the air De'vad readied himself, he didn't know where the attack was coming from but he was confident in his ability to react to any situation.

Suddenly Colton's hands began to drop, his right going behind him slightly as he moved to hit him with a right hook. De'vad had plenty of time to react to an attack that incorporated that much motion, he almost felt bad for the kid. As he initiated to the swing De'vad ducked under the punch, moving slightly backwards with his body while stepping to his left. As he began to come back up from the duck, he holstered the weapons he had drawn but moments before, and in one fluid movement twisted his body to now face his opponent. As soon as he had turned he proceeded to kick with his full force into the side of Colton's knee who would still be reeling from his punch not hitting a target, causing his body to swing slightly around and away from De'vad.

The attack would be hard to avoid, if not impossible and would surely render the leg broken or at least useless for a time. If Colton decided to continue to use the momentum to spin around, he would expose his back to De'vad.

Colton took the full force of De'vad's kick to his knee. The kick didn't break colton's knee, but may have slightly dislocated it. There was also a strong pain in his leg which would shurly impair his movement. Colton quickly put his hands into his pockets, and when he pulled them out they each had brass knuckles equipped! Colton ,forcing himself to ignore the pain in his knee, rushed toward De'vad and attempt to deliver two blows with his left arm to the bounty hunter's stomach.

Davik was watching the two beginning their scuffle and instead of getting his own taste of the action, a taste he thoroughly disliked, he pulled a holocommunicator from his pocket and mere seconds later the small flickering image of a female Cathar came to life. "Misa" Davik began, watching the young pirate receiving a kick to his knee "this guy isn't fit for the Marauders"

"Are you sure?" the Cathar replied as she turned around to watch the spectacle "maybe he's just a slow starter". Davik pondered that for a second before coming to terms with the idea, "very well, we'll give him a few more rounds."

De'vad was glad that he had landed the kick to the knee region, but he wasn't surprised. He watched as the man staggered slightly sideways from the kick, understandably when one had delivered a blow such as this. Never the less he was still very close to his opponent and would not let up his assault till his opponent yielded. The Hutt had said alive, not in one piece after all.

Because of how close the two of them were, he was astounded that the man would place his hands in his pockets. The crowed seemingly confused by his actions also as their faces began to drop, questioning the mans choice. On most civilized planets someone would have broken up the fight, or some form of security/police force would have intervened. Not here though, even with De'vad being focused on the duel he could still hear the scum in the background, some were betting on who would win, while others wagered who died.

De'vad wouldn't pass up the opportunity to strike while the mans hands were in his pockets and hopped forward before delivering a kick to the back of the mans knee this time. If he had landed this his opponent would be on one knee on the floor, somewhere he should have opted for being in the first place.

He would maintain his guard never the less, but if the kick was successful he would follow it up buy drawing his weapon and placing it quickly to the back of his opponents head.

Colton thought De'van may try to attack while his hands where in his pockets. He quickly side stepped out of the range of De'van's kick, and retaliated by pulling out his brass knuckles. He then attempted to punch De'van in the stomach twice with his left, and would then follow up by attempting to land a blow on De'van's face with his right.
Now that Colton had his brass knuckles on, he knew he would have some extra force to attempt to pierce De'van's armor. "How about this!"

The teen looked out of place on the dusty world of Tattoine, he walked with purposeful stride. He did stick out like a sore thumb on the sandy world of Tattoine, his black clothes looking immaculate despite the sandy world around him. While he was surrounded by smugglers or bandits, he wasn't here to collect a bounty. Not today, he was on vacation. His ears twitched slightly as his 3 brown tails swished back and forth. It was rather amusing, annoying people begin him as his tails kept hitting them in the face. He quickly pulled out a cigarette and lit it, its blue flames dancing on the bottom. He raised it to his lips and took a large puff of it. He left it in the corner of his mouth as he continued walking. He was desperately in need of food. He quickly walked towards a nearby cantina. He wasn't expecting the eerie silence outside as he turned the corner.

He turned looking on to see a fight happening. He sae the two men scuffle and it all fit in to place. The Chiss was the bounty. As he watched, he noticed out the corner of his eye, a man standing outside the cantina with an all too familiar Cathar beside him. So Davik Lorso, fellow member of the marauders was here too. Kuro smiled as he made his way over to Davik.

"So, do you think he will be a good fit for the marauders?"

Davik watched the young pirate try his best against the bounty hunter and yet his attention was drawn to a familiar face after the small holo-image of Misa said "hey, isn't that Kuro?". It was a long way from Baralou, but even if Kuro hadn't been a member of a very rare species it was never hard to recognize a fellow Marauder. "Kuro!" Davik joyfully exclaimed before making a gesture towards the young Chiss and his attacker "If you think he'll make a good addition to the crew, why not help him out?"

It was getting a bit comical to see the two fight in the middle of the small settlement and surrounded by onlookers who seemed more eager to place bets on the winner than stepping. Whoever was going to win, neither was assured getting out of it alive. Every one in need of credits was going to try and take the pirate.

De'vad hadn't been lucky enough to land his kick, his opponent side stepping as he attempted it. Never the less he had done enough damage with the first to warrant it not mattering too much. Ass the man turned it was clear that he was wearing a pair of knuckledusters. If the guy thought he was going to punch through duranium, maybe De'vad had underestimated the lad. I mean how many people could punch through solid metal he thought to himself, loosing focus for but a moment.

The moment was long enough for Colton to get in close and begin to throw punches and while the two left punches to the stomach area landed, the right hook hit his guard that he had put up already. As the left hand was down by the stomach and the right was still pulling back De'vad switched into a southpaw stance, as he aimed to land a huge left straight on his opponents face. The punch wouldn't hut him too badly if he was wearing a helmet, but it would certainly rattle his head inside the helmet long enough for him to move in close.

If his opponent was hit by the punch, De'vad would move inwards, wrapping his arms around the back of his opponent head and force his face downwards into knees. If he was wearing a helmet, the angle off the knee would see it fly off and the second would connect directly to his face.

Though Colton's attack was a success, Da'ved retaliated with a strong punch, and unfortunately for Colton, he left his helmet on the table inside the cantina. The powerful punch hit Colton strait in the face, no blood was drawn yet but he was quite clearly in pain. Colton's vision was blurred, and his balance was off, but before the madoalorian could move in to finish him off, Colton shouted "Pirate Rule number one: pirates don't play by the rules!" Colton then quick drew his twin DL-18 blaster pistols and began firing as fast as he could right in front of him. though this attack would have little accuracy, colton hoped it would buy him enough time to recover his vision... "Die you bantha fodder! Die!"

As Kuro watched them fight, his hands slowly unclipped the chain from his belt , un attaching the two pistols slowly. He quietly raised them to his side, just keeping his eyes on the battle. "From my view, he looks like he could do well, just the talking. He needs to shut up when fighting. I'll let you make the choice but my opinion is that he would fit right in. Only problem is the Steeleye Brethren."

He turned to Davik while taking another drag of his cigarette, "Your choice" as he turned, he saw Colton fore a few shots towards the mando. Now it was serious. He raised his weapons slightly, just incase anyone fired at him "You better make your mind up, one of them is going to die"

Davik sigh again "Alright, help him out" he told his pirate brother and shut off his holo-communicator. This was going to get messy, so after patting Kuro once on the shoulder for good luck, Davik mixed in with the crowd for some protection as he circled around the two fighting men. He wasn't happy with the intention all of this was getting, but who could blame the people on a boring desert planet like this that they stay to watch a fight to the death. Davik kept watching the fight intently, but made no move to join them for he wasn't much of a fighter himself.

De'vad was quite pleased with his punch, bloodying the man and clearly hurting him. The man then began to speak at De'vad moved towards him.

Miraculously he managed to form a sentence, draw two weapons and begin firing before De'vad could close the short couple of steps to follow up his attack. De'vad could only put it down to him slacking on Cardio these last few weeks, something he would have to pick up.

The first shot hit home, hitting De'vad in the right side of his chest, while a second hit on on the bottom left of his ribcage. As the shots were flying inwards he activated his Ray Shield Buckler and drew his weapon with his other hand. His torso armour was compromised he could not risk another hit and would defend his body with his shield, the energy dissipating as it hit it.

Colton began to speak and as De'vad got to the tail end of his draw he, fired three shots. The first was on target, flying strait towards his head, the man would still be dazed at this point as he mentioned and the last two bullets finding their way, slightly either side of his head. If Colton stepped backwards, the first shot would hit him, if he straifed to either side, one of the other two would finish him. If the lad decided to jump, the first would fly through his neck.

With Colton still firing as the bullets traveled, De'vad activated his Jetpack. Moments later the pack bursting to life, sending him hurtling into the sky and terrific speed.
