Hello, ladies, gentlemen, aliens of all kinds and droids! I hope you are having a great day (again).
I started this project back during the pre-timeline and now it is back, the Six Degrees of the Force.
For those who are not familiar with the six degrees of separation theory, here is a brief description: it proposes that anyone on the planet can be connected to any other person on the planet through a chain of acquaintances that has no more than five intermediaries. The theory was first proposed in 1929 by the Hungarian writer Frigyes Karinthy in a short story called "Chains."
This community project has two principal goals: allowing members to get to know each other and creating bonds between characters.
Without further ado, here it is, the Six Degrees of the Force project:
T Y P E S _ O F _ I N T E R P E R S O N A L _ R E L A T I O N S H I P S :
Familial relationship | Relationship involving a group of persons united by the ties of marriage, blood, or adoption, constituting a single household and interacting with each other in their respective social positions, usually those of spouses,parents, children, and siblings.
Intimate relationship | Interpersonal relationship that involves physical or emotional intimacy. Physical intimacy is characterized by friendship, romantic love or sexual activity.
Platonic friendship | Relationship of mutual affection between two or more people. Friendship is a stronger form of interpersonal bond than an association.
Enemy or frenemy | An individual or a group that is seen as forcefully adverse or threatening.
Neighbour | Interpersonal relationship based on geographic location and/or patriotism.
Business relationship | Connections between stakeholders in the process of businesses, such as employer–employee relationships, managers as well as outsourced business partners.
Official relationship | Relationship based on duty.
