Considering taking up RP again and have questions.

Hey all! Its been a few months since I was active around here, but I have a couple questions as I have been keeping slight tabs on the place.

1) I remember there being a big thing going on about sub-accounts some time ago. Whatever happened with that? Are we still able to use sub-accounts for our characters?

2) The story line. When I left, it was shortly after The Battle of Coruscant. I know there was a time skip of... 2? 3 years? What's new with the story since then?

1. There was an issue with the Sub-Accounts system, and @Aberforth has been merging them back into main accounts.

2. There's been a timeskips of 5 years. The Sith destroyed the Republic at the Battle of Chandrilla and and began expanding. The territory that used to be the Republic was taken by the Jedi and Sith, as well as the growing Mandalorian Dominion. Now, an all out three sided war is about to break out.

The sub accounts is really a minor thing, more of a curiosity. Thanks for clearing that up.

As for the time skip, so the Republic is shot, hey? So there is the Sith Empire, the Jedi Order, and the Mandalorian Dominion? I'll take a look at the territory map to familiarize myself.

What about indie factions? Anything new and exciting?

And seeing the map, Sreeya makes mention of new battle formats? Any explanation or links to this?

Oh yeah, there's definitely some cool new Indie factions. Including one Outlander started himself that has been gaining a lot of support.

Galaf.

Talk of a Naboo faction as well.

The Shadow Syndicate has started to take over the criminal underworld.

I would just look through the Announcements if you want more details on exactly what has happened.

Here are some Bullet points of what I can think of though:

Force users can still use armor for it's defensive capabilities but they cannot use armor functions such as grappling hooks or night vision.

Factions now gain power by controlling more resource planets. By taking over resource planets or any other major planets a faction holds you will weaken them conciderably.

Troops will be limited and regulated for all battles based on the resources of the faction. Battles will no longer be as random as they were in the past.​
