I stood in the threshold of a ship I had acquiesced from the Sith Order since I currently was not in possession of my own ship yet, a situation I was in the process of ratifying. I waited for the arrival of my Apprentice to show up. We were heading off world to gather the components to create her own personal lightsaber and discard the training blade she was currently using. I had seen Sith find, steal, or gifted a lightsaber to them but I believed that a Sith's weapon should be forged by them, making it an extension of who they are.

From the distance I saw the young girl moving toward me and I pushed the button on the side of the door to activate the communications on the ship. "Prepare the ship for take off," I said into the small speaker alerting the pilots that I was ready to depart.

When my Apprentice was within earshot of my voice I said, "Welcome Apprentice, the time has come for you to take yet another step through your journey through the dark side and reach the ultimate goal of being called Sith. We are going to Dattooine to gather the components to craft your lightsaber."

I turned around and entered the ship...

Azhure grabbed the essentials that she would be needing to go along on the trip. She clipped her training saber to her belt. She was glad that finally the day has come to forge a new weapon. One more appropriate for a Sith. She will be able to do more damage than the initiate blade she has currently. Once she had all she needed she made her way to the hangar where a ship was waiting for her arrival.

In front of the ship was her Master Yr'il Ber'ong. She greeted her master with a bow and said. "Thank you Master. I shall not let you down."

They were going to Dattooine. She had never been there and knew very little of the planet. Excited but patient Azhure walked up the ramp and settled in a seat. She secured herself in and awaited the journey that she was to take. Visions of what might appear filled her head as she waited for the ship to take off.

I instructed my Apprentice to meditate during the flight to the planet of Dantooine and I did the same. The planet was strong with the dark side but there were dangers as well, some natural and some corrupted by the dark side turning some of the native species into abominations, and I wished for my Apprentice to be alert and ready. I allowed the Force to speak to me during our short trip and when we finally made the final descent and landing on the planet, I abruptly opened my eyes and through our mental link in the Force that is created by Master and Apprentice, I notified Azhure it was time to begin her new journey.

The moment we stepped on to the planet's surface I felt the strong pull of the dark side and as I inhaled deeply through the Force to breathe in the dark side energy, I felt the strong presence of the Sith Master that resides here and has been training me, advancing my skills. If time persists, I may introduce my Apprentice to the Sith Master.

"Every part of a lightsaber can be found, bought, stolen, or acquired through killing except the lightsaber crystal itself. Every crystal is unique and most be set in tune with the possessor. There is a cave here on Dantooine that is rich in such crystals and you will select as many as crystals as you like and once that occurs, I will show you how to use the Force to attune the crystal to you and you only. But first, we must survive the dangers out on the plains. Come," I said leading her through the spaceport.

I noticed the activity had doubled since my last visit here. More kiosks had sprung up like spots on a skin, selling various wares from weapons to armours to whatever one's heart desired. I even noticed that a slavers pen had been erected and though I fought the urge to walk over there and tear it down, I decided to leave that to the Sith Witch that haunted this planet.

As we walked through the plains on our way to the cave, I said, "You should take this time Apprentice to soak up the dark side energies and allow it to corrupt you further. One may fall to the dark side, but one never stops falling after the first great fall. Besides, once we reach the caves you will need all the energy you can muster to focus on the crystals you have chosen for yourself." I fell silent to let her do her thing while keeping my senses out for raiders, slavers, predators, or Sith abominations.

Here I am soaring over the plains of Dantooine, pursued by Imperial officers. I obviously didn't plan this out very far. Rental speeder bike, huge open fields, I didn't even check to make sure the buyers weren't Rebels. Bar'buir was right, laziness is dangerous. Good thing I brought my body armor and helmet this this time because those shots were getting close.
<BANG>
And there goes my right stabilizer. I have to get out of this. I reached out with The Force in search of an escape or anything... Unfortunately all I found is two Sith somewhere ahead of me. This is going to hurt.

Haar'chak! They were right around the corner leaving no time to change course. I threw the speeder bike on its side and aimed for the space between them, clearing the two. Then something stopped me dead while the bike dropped nose first into the ground launching four bacta tanks from its storage compartments, smashing into the scenery ahead.

Winded, I lay on my back staring into the sky. One of those flying stingray things soared above me in clear skies. At least he's having a good day.

Azhure meditated as she was told by her Master. Though she didn't know much about Dantooine. She expected the planet to have its dangers. There could be wild animals about or even wild plants. She must be aware of her surroundings when they land. To be caught unaware would be unwise. Her Master told her about how all parts of a lightsaber with the exception of the crystal could be acquired through killing, stealing, bought or found.

She listened intently to her Master as she continued to speak. The Master also mentioned that the crystal and the user are attuned to one another. Azhure learned that there was a cave on Dantooine that had several crystals. She could select as many as she liked. Her eyes grew big as she heard this. She couldn't wait till her Master showed her how to use the force to become attune with the crystal. She breathed in to calm herself down.

They arrived at the spaceport. Azhure looked on at the terrain which were grassy plains. It looked beautiful but she knew that there were dangers as well. She took her Master's advice and took in the dark side energies that surrounded the planet.

"Yes Master." she replied back before absorbing the energies. The planet had a rawness about it. She sensed wild animals about as she kept walking beside her Master.

I turned around and saw a speeder bike, being chased by some sort of flying machine, heading toward myself and my Apprentice. I pulled out Serpent's Breath, my lightsaber, and stood there with the hilt in my hand as I assessed the situation. If this out-of-control speeder bike poised any danger to us I would destroy both bike and driver. But to my surprise, I felt a faint stirring in the Force coming from the driver of the bike and smiled in amusement.

I witnessed the pilot hurl the bike on its side as both he and the machine slid between me and my Apprentice. Reaching out with the Force with my free hand, I halted the bike in its tracks, causing it cargo, bacta tanks, to fly through the air and land with a thud on the grassy plains of Dantooine. "It seems so excitement may have presented itself to us Apprentice," I said without looking at my Apprentice as I moved to the downed pilot.

Stopping in front of the man and now hovering over him, I ignited my blade, its crimson tongue flickering to life, and pointed the tip of the blade in the direction of the pilot's face. "You are touched by the Force but it is weak and faint and I do not know you. You are not Sith nor do you wear the armour of the Stormtrooper Corp. but yet, you are on a Sith world." I stolen a quick glance at the four bacta tanks and turning my eyes back to the pilot I continued, "And you are in possession of bacta tanks. For your sake mate, I hope they are not stolen property of the Sith Imperium."

"Bought and paid for," I groaned as air returned to my lungs,"I sell bacta to people that need it. Appearently my customers are rebels, a clientele I typically try to avoid." Then I noticed that her lightsaber was definitely on. I removed the pistol from its holster and set it on the ground. "No fight on my end," I surrendered.

Azhure turned around when she sensed something behind them. It was a speeder bike that was being chased by something. It was coming straight at them. Azhure grasped her training saber just in case though what happened next was a surprise. The speeder bike hurled to the side of both her and her master. Four bacta tanks smashed ahead from the compartments.

Azhure watched as her master walked toward the downed pilot and igniting her blade. The crimson tip now inches from the pilot's face. She wondered what the man was going to do. He would be a fool to try and fight them. There was no way he would survive. He would be left for the wild beasts after they got through with him. The man did a smart move and put his pistol down on the ground. He said he bought the bacta tanks and sells it to customers. He made an error in clientele. Azhure just waited to see what her master was going to do with the man. Would he live or would he die. Only time will tell.

"So you consort with rebel scum and not only consort with them, you sell them bacta to preserve their injured so that one day they could rise up against the Empire once again," I said watching him intelligently remove his weapon and lay it on the ground next to him. Using the Force, I called his weapon to myself and when it was close, I split the weapon in two with my lightsaber blade.

Looking into his eyes I said, "The glorious Empress had decreed that any individual found aiding the rebels or the Jedi are to be put to death immediately. However, you are not the typical smuggler are you? No you are not. I can sense the faint stirrings of the Force in you so perhaps there is hope for you yet. Maybe this encounter was not by chance but an act through the Force to bring you Dantooine and now before me."

I powered down my weapon but kept the hilt tight in my hand as I thought about what to do with him. What would Sith Master Volitu do in such a situation? "The Sith Imperium has been rebuilding its ranks since the war and I do not know where your true allegiance lies. However, you are Force sensitive which means you have really only two options. Join the Empire or die. For we can not have you recruited by the Jedi monks now can we?"

I glanced over at my Apprentice and said, "Maybe you will get the opportunity to demonstrate your knowledge of the dark side."

"Ma'am, I hate to tell you this, but I can't use The Force," I said as I rolled onto my side," Seeing her break my gun actually hurt a bit. I may have several weapons on me but that one had been with me the longest. Calling on all of my strength, I worked my way to an upright position and stood. "I have no place in your Empire, but I have something you may want," I offered as I removed a datapad with a broken screen,"We both know that the information on this is double, if not triple encrypted and easily worth more than to the Empire than me. I also have a computer on me that can decrypt and retrieve the data in roughly six to twelve hours. I'll slice it and give you all the data in Exchange for my release."

At about this time the two officers who had pursued me attempted to cuff me. I intercepted the cuffs in a nonaggressive maneuver and locked his right hand and connected the other end to his friend's right hand. The second officer was apparently a left handed shooter as he drew and pointed his pistol in my face. I nonchalantly spun the weapon from his hand, disarmed it and returned it to his holster in a single fluid movement.

Continuing the conversation like I was never interrupted, I added,"At the moment, you have my full support against these Rebels for their deception," picking the dropped 'pad off the ground and returning it to it's bag, I gestured to the ground I was standing on,"I have no quarrel with the Empire, but I do have one with the Rebels here."

This can only end very well or very badly...

After two and a half weeks of standing before the Sith awaiting her response, I became thirsty and hungry and figured that no one would miss me if I just walked away. But as I was leaving, I couldn't help but wonder what had happened. Could it be that life is just a website and we are just characters on a role playing forum, performing the actions so desired by its users? And if that's the case, could it be possible that one or both of their users were too busy to sign in and continue the plot? It would seem that these troubling questions would probably never be answered...

I take it this RP never took place then? Ma'saan would appreciate not having to buy a new handgun.
