After a long time seeking possible allies on his homeworld, Caerllion finally was able to gather a group of individuals that would help maintain the Sith agenda in the parliament of Annwfyn. However, they still needed some convincing and a direct talk with other representatives of the Order that weren’t him would be necessary.

This is why Caerllion had arranged a meeting between these politicians, him and another Sith Champion, Zoran Barxes. Apparently, the guy had a good experience with diplomacy, so the Annfyn believed that he would be able to help in convincing them. Since they wanted to make it away from curious eyes, they decided that the meeting would happen in Rattatak. It was close to Annwfyn, but still distant enough from the others of his species.

"We arrived." Caerllion said to the Champion seated next to him, after their ship finally landed in the spaceport. "The others probably already arrived. The building that we choose for this meeting isn’t far away from here." he rose from the piloting chair, while he walked to grab a dark gray poncho. Soon the Annfyn covered his clothes and lightsaber with it. "Do you have any questions?."

Zoran was surprised when his fellow Sith, Caerllion had approached him. The Annfyn male apparently required his assistance and expertise in diplomacy to convince the people of his home world to succumb to the iron grip of the Sith Order. Zoran was more than happy to do so. Although he did not actually care about helping the Order increase its own influence, doing this would actually help him in expanding his own. Annfyn was not the target of his ambitions, but it would never hurt to have allies on other planets. Plus there was a famous old saying, something about a favour for a favour...

As they arrived at the designated spaceport, Zoran turned to his fellow Sith. "Another happy landing huh? I guess my primary question for you is what you need from me exactly as we commence our negotiations. It's all well and good to spread our lovely agenda to the planet's parliament, but I'm sure that's not the only thing you personally want from this?" Zoran was genuinely curious about his new acquaintance's motives with the planet. Perhaps he was just some compatriot that cared about his homeland? Or perhaps he was more interested in furthering his own selfish agenda?

"I'm going to be blunt with you. If you have some selfish desires surrounding this mission that aren't for the direct benefit of the Order. I could not care less. As long as you're honest with me, I'll do what I can to help you." Although his words may have been interpreted to be scathing and direct, Zoran wore a large smile on his face. Many years of being exposed to the snakes of politics have educated him in how to conduct himself in these situations. Regardless of Caerllion's answer, Zoran would likely accept and assist him.

What Zoran said made Caerllion look at him in the corner of the eye. His fellow Champion was more attentive than he had expected. The Annfyn wondered if such attention to details would be good or a problem for their mission. “I was informed that you have a good way with politics. A silver tongue of sorts, capable of making an inhabitant of Tatooine buy sand.

For today, I was hoping that you would be able to help me convince some century-old politicians to adopt a pro-Sith agenda in the parliament.” obviously Caerllion had plans to advance his own agenda regarding his homeworld. However, Zoran wouldn’t be able to help him with it. At least for now.

If you prove to be as good as everyone says, I’ll reveal other ways that you can help me.” he smiled, before turning to the ship’s exit. The ramp had already lowered, allowing the two Sith to leave the place. “Now we need to go, their patience decreased with their age.” he said, while walking down to the spaceport.

Caerllion was clearly playing his cards close to his chest this time around, something that Zoran could appreciate. After all, the game was no fun if you already knew all the vital information. "You were informed correctly, there is even a rumour that I once managed to sell a Gungan some deodorant, he even took it with him to his little underwater city." Zoran chuckled slightly, it was not everyday that a Gungan worried about their own personal hygiene.

"Sure sure, the old Sith indoctrination is an easy one to pull off, although the older folk tend to be quite the pain to deal with. All the droning and wheezing tends to give me a headache." Zoran raised an eyebrow after Caerllion mentioned helping him in the future. "Now now, you aren't the only one who's going to be asking for favours in this partnership. Believe it or not, I have some things that'll require your assistance in the future also. But that can wait of course."

As they neared the entrance, Zoran lowered his voice. "What do you know of the government's current position towards the Order? It will help if I know their current persuasion on the topic before we begin these negotiations."

Caerllion laughed a bit with Zoran’s comment. The other Sith have a sense of humor, it was uncommon for politicians. At least with those that he worked with in the past. Perhaps this mission wasn’t going to be terrible after all. “Well, at least the Gungan would be smelling well.

I expected as such.” the Annfyn wasn’t surprised that the human wanted something in exchange for his help. They were Sith, rare were the times when they helped others without second intentions. “Perhaps we can start a long term partnership. If you prove to be really that good in convincing them.” Caerllion smiled at Zoran. Having a long term ally could be good for both of them.

The government is mostly neutral at the moment. ” he said, while they walked out of the spaceport. Rattatak was the typical Outer Rim planet, completely abandoned by the rest of the Galaxy. Even the streets looked abandoned, with the pavement being dilapidated and full of holes. “There are some pro-Jedi and pro-Sith in the parliament, but the Queen is neutral.

The first in the line of succession is a supporter of our cause, though.” he said, while knowing a smile appeared in his lips. Caerllion wondered if the other would know that he was this person. After all, the Queen was his grandaunt.
