An old sketch of Cordin.

Entry #0909178
To: The Director; The XO
CC: Commander Andregaard
From: Dr. Molus Sordin (The Mortician)
Subject: Medical Profile - Initiate #77402 (Saret)
Attached File: GA-SF CPT Cordin Saret Medical History; TI Subject #77402 (Saret) Medical History

The subject's medical history has been copied from an Alliance server. Gotta love psychological manipulation. Certainly explains some of the damage we saw while operating on him. It has been attached.

The subject appears to be healing from the surgeries rather well. Most scaring has disappeared with only a few things still obvious. The other medical file attached shows what we did and the prosthesis and cybernetics we placed in/on him. I'll give a short summary of his improvements.

*The cybernetic eye seems to have adapted properly to the subject, working as any normal eye should. However, because of possible issues the 'enhancements' were removed from the eye.
*The cybernetic ear is working properly, giving him a more acute sense of hearing.
*The prosthetic arm has also adapted properly to the subject's nervous system, reacting as any normal arm would do. The prosthetic skin covering has sealed to his arm properly as well, though we seemed to have picked a slightly lighter shade. It should be almost completely unnoticeable to all but the very trained eye. Even his isn't picking it up.
*The prosthetic lung is working fine. We decided to forgo possible enhancements, but he will have an inherent resistance (not immunity) to poisons and gasses.
*The durasteel ribs have grafted properly and are holding as well as, if not better than the real thing.
*The plate in his skull has gone in fine and his skin and hair has even grown back over it, covering the scaring.

*If viewed in complete darkness one might notice that there is a spot on his neck just behind the cybernetic ear that emits a faint blue glow behind the skin. It should be generally unnoticeable and in a few years should disappear completely.
*There are still some signs of scaring from the prosthesis on his chest and around his ear. His head has produced scaring but it is covered by the hair. Gotta love modern skin-grafting.

Cordin is healthy as ever. Give it a few months and he may even show improvement in his physical health. I recommend we continue with his entry.

Subject: Psychological Evaluation - Initiate #77402 (Saret)

Subject shows massive improvement. His faculties are all in line. However it would be important to note that while he retains his tough exterior it has actually been strengthened.

CPT Saret seems to suffer from acute PTSD and an temporary but recurrent case of Cotard Delusion (the idea that he is dead, or is a corpse). He can be highly unstable in some situations, acting irrationally and going through bouts of depression and/or anger when introduced to too much stress. He also finds no problem with death of any kind except with his daughter.

He is highly antisocial and doesn't care what other people think in almost any situation, sometimes preferring to isolate himself when not going through bouts of anger. He is also hyper-vigilant and shows signs of paranoia, though I have not been able to extract specifics about his line of thought. Though this could be the result of his time with the GA-SF, it could also be a symptom of the neural damage we were unable to repair.

It may also be nice to know that he is not the most savory of people. When annoyed he becomes, as he puts it, 'a multi-lingual sheb'. His language can be quite colorful, which our enforcers may find amusing. He also despises anyone who sugar coats an issue, preferring others who use the same kind of wording as he. My assistant has even amused him with his feeble and timid attempts at cussing in Huttese.

Finally, he is also somewhat of a latent sadist. He's not against killing others simply because they are "Snarkin' Kath hounds". Although I think he just prefers beating the "space slugs out of them".

Despite his issues I am not going to recommend he would be turned down. I actually recommend hiring him. With the help of medication he may function better but I would also recommend giving him a position that allows him greater chances of isolation in the field. In cases where he would be forced into front-line combat along-side other personnel I would suggest ensuring his closest teammates are expendable.

His isolationism suggests he prefers to work alone, his background and his combat skills suggest he would be good as both an Operative as well as an Enforcer. I will make no suggestions but rather leave this in your discretion. Besides, I think it would be amusing to see him as an Enforcer, purposely killing his own teammates just because they are "Bantha poodo".

Respectively,
The Mortician

Subject: Combat Evaluation - Initiate #77402 (Saret)

CPT Saret has displayed a lot of improvement. His ability with blasters, explosives, combat flight (including speeders and fighters) have all returned to proper levels. He actually exceeds expectations in both these fields as well as the fields of hand-to-hand combat, sabotage, espionage and counter-intelligence, and weapon/armor maintenance and repair. However, his skill with knives, hacking, slicing, picking locks, and general stealth are at levels comparable to the usual Special Forces operator, with hacking/slicing and picking locks leaving something more to be desired of a possible Operator.

Though he is not particularly dextrose, which I believe he never was, he has excelled in almost every area of combat, including open combat, hand-to-hand, front-line battle simulations, with infiltration scores being both the lowest but better than many in his field.

He is just as capable in foot combat as he is in mounted combat (such as speeder bikes and riding animals) and space combat (such as fighters and personal star ships). He is not just a well-rounded fighter, but an excellent combatant in nearly any field.

Despite the fact that his technological skills are low, CPT Saret can easily take on droids as well as any sentient combatant. This includes most animals. While he is capable of fighting with knives, daggers, and swords it might be best to put him where he can fight open handed as his scores in that situation rival his blaster-related scores.

Blaster combat scenarios show he is a capable marksman, excellent with any kind of assault weapon including heavy blasters, the usual blaster rifle, and blaster carbines, and quite capable with most blaster pistols. His ability with hold-outs, however, leaves something to be desired.

However, I do have to note that his aggressiveness could compromise teammates all the way to amusing episodes of fratricide. (Expect fewer full entries with this batch of hopefulls.) His temper can get the better of him and if he does go through an uncontrolled PTSD 'episode' his own abilities can be severely hampered, threatening both his teammates lives as well as his own.

His teamwork skills also could do with some help, as amusing as it is to see him man-handle, beat, or even kill his own teammates for ignorance, incapability, and just being a plain 'Koochoo'. I would recommend keeping him from anyone we might interrogate lest they incur his wrath by insulting his wife, mother, or daughter. Especially daughter.

Despite his short-coming, CPT Saret's combat scores show that he would be highly capable as both an Operative and an Enforcer. I leave this to your discretion.

Regards,
The Mortician

____________________________________________________________________

Ask anyone who knew me in my unit and they'll tell you I was a pretty good guy, a tough commander, and one hell of a fighter. Ask anyone at a Corruscanti bar and they'll tell you I can drink any of the local peedunky stoopa enough to try me under the table. Ask my daughter and she'll probably tell you I'm an overbearing misery-gut laserbrain and a son of a murglak. You can ask the Director or even some of my new superiors but I couldn't give the backside of a swamp rat what they think of me. But if you ask me I'll tell you I'm dead.

I died three or four years ago. But I'm getting ahead of myself.

I am a born and raised Coruscanti who played soldier in the Galactic Alliance's Special Forces for several decades and ended up a well known tactician thanks to my knowledge on war-related history. I married another Coruscanti woman who happened to be SpecOps and had a child with her who we named Carrie. My wife retired from SpecOps to stay home with our daughter whenever I deployed. Between the two of us we taught Carrie not only to defend herself but to either kick everyone within a parsec into a blackhole, figuratively speaking of course, or sneak past them and frack with all their equipment. I don't know that I'll ever forgive the little gravel maggot for not signing up for the Special Forces when she decided to join the Alliance Army, though she almost made up for it by signing up a couple years after serving with her first unit. But this is about me.

Look, it's not much of a background, but I raised my daughter, watched my wife die, nearly killed one of my men after he beat the snot out of my daughter, which I know I'll never forgive her for, became a wanna-be drunk commander, gave up my most prized possessions to the little brat, and then died not long after she went into the SpecForce. I'll never let those damn technicians and doctors convince me I was brought in on a stretcher with my guts hanging out and brains poking through my head still barely holding on to what was left of my life. I had given it up when one of my own Sergeants betrayed me to save his own scrawny ass in mid-combat. Now I have a life wanting to kill that di'kut, who the idiots in the brass made a lieutenant after that battle.

But now I'm a technologically enhanced, and crutched, fifty some year-old man who works for some star forsaken secretive company called 'The Initiative". They patched me up, downloaded life back into my mostly still squishy brain and heart, and rehabilitated me right back into the bantha poodoo fighting that got me into this situation in the first place. Hopefully this time I don't end up a sorry sack of freg'd sleemo.

NAME: Cordin Saret
FACTION: Indie - The Initiative
RANK/ROLE: Enforcer
SPECIES: Human
AGE: 53
GENDER: Male
HEIGHT: 5'9"
WEIGHT:
EYES: Dark Brown
HAIR: Peppered
SKIN: White/Tan
CREDITS: 1000
DISTINGUISHING MARKS: Scaring on many parts of his body from Cybernetic implants.

*STRENGTH: 7
Despite Cordin's age he remains rather fit and strong, still capable of holding his against the soldiers he once commanded in the Galactic Alliance.
*DEXTERITY: 6
Though Cordin is a capable fighter he was never trained to be highly dextrose and agile. He can still outmatch the regular soldier, if only for a short time.
*CONSTITUTION: 7
Cordin has always been able to take a hit or two before going down. But thanks to a few cybernetic enhancements he is still able to take the same damage he could when younger.
*INTELLIGENCE: 7
Cordin somewhat higher intelligence scores than the regular person, but is hardly considered a genius.
*WISDOM: 7
Because of his higher intelligence, Cordin can learn faster and easier than many, and applies those lessons with equal efficiency.
*CHARISMA: 4
Cordin cares little for diplomacy. If he wants to sneak to his objective, he will remain unseen. If he wants to kill, he will. But when feels like being a good boy he'll talk his way out of a problem.

*Galactic Basic
Galactic Basic is his first language, one he knows well though he may not typically show it.
*Bocce/Trade Language
Being an ex-GA Special Forces Captain, he knew a number languages that would get him by when everything was unnecessary.

A sketch of Cordin in his armor
*When in most combat situations Cordin will wear a variation of the GA SpecForce Infiltration/Combat Suit modified for The Initiative. He has also modified his helmet to include an extra detailed HUD with target acquisition and neural commands that can sync with most GA (SpecForce specific armors not included) and Initiative "smart" stealth armors and combat AIs.
*When not in direct combat situations Cording will wear typical clothing of middle-class Corellians with a long brown leather jacket that reaches down to his knees.
*He always has on some style of combat boot and an impact-resistant undershirt.

Prosthetics, Cybernetics, etc.
*Right Cybernetic Eye Replacement
Simply replaces the eye, does not do anything special.
*4 Durasteel Rib Replacements
He can take a few more hits than most his age would be able to thank to this.
*Cybernetic Right Arm
Simply replaces the left arm and is calibrated to react to his overall strength. It does not enhance his strength, merely maintains it.
*Cybernetic Right Ear
Only advantage is the ability to hear at both slightly higher and slightly lower noise levels, giving him slightly more acute. No subsonic noise can be heard and, in most situations, his combat scores would most likely be unaffected were he to retain the ear he lost.
*Durasteel Skull Plate
Replacement for the part of his skull that was blown off on the right side. Makes it harder to blow that part of his head away. Skin and hair has grown back, covering the plate and any scars.
*Cybernetic Right Lung
Calibrated to work with the strength and durability of his left lung, this only maintains his natural endurance without enhancing it.

Very manly, sorta 300-ish, picture! I love it!

Also I just realized that a LOT of characters in this timeline know Huttese, it's like Spanish dammit everyone knows it! xD

SW Canon shows that Huttese was the second most used language throughout SW history. It really is like Spanish.

Yeah. It's all experimental. Cordin, Carrie, and Ragien are all secondary characters which, for now, are experiments. Their back stories are done off a whim and have started emulating other fictional characters. (Just as The Initiative is based a lot off Mass Effect's Cerberus, Cordin has turned out to be like a jacked up Shepherd).

But thank you. I've been working real hard for this stuff and the experimentation seems to be paying off.

French is the second most common language though. If you go by # of countries listing it as official, at least, Francophonie covers 33 nations I think...

I like the perspective this bio is written in, though. Nice third-person feel to it.

I am not amused.
It is unwise to plumb the depths of my disapproval in such an enthusiastic search of the bottom. I would advise you to consult with the last such entity who decided to pursue such a course of action before you choose to follow in his path.
He is currently a cloud of monatomic mist approximately sixteen light-minutes in diameter.

This soldier has experienced significant trauma in the service of the Galactic Alliance, and has had that service betrayed. While that may mean little to a civilian such as yourself, and indeed may well be beyond your capability to comprehend, but I assure you this is no more a laughing matter than my own areas of expertise. Continue with your delightful attempts at fostering his illness into a weapon for this organization to use at the expense of both this man and his fellow Enforcers. I am quite certain it will end well.

I must go now, he's about to start using the terminal again~

I should make the character Molus Sordin and have him reply to the message. We'll end up with an entire wall of messages between the two on each other's pages. lol Not to mention he would probably call Andregaard a retired sociopath with a god-complex and sadism issues and promptly prescribe a healthy dose of marijuana or the SW equivilant. While he may not be a god, from down where you are the difference is moot.

Same with Andregaard and what he'd say.

Not so sure it'd be a god complex, per se, as a transhuman complex. He is, after all, more than any mere flesh-creature could hope to be.
