[Lorn Drask]

Lorn Drask gazed at the large office window with a view spreading to Manaan's aquatic surface. A beautiful sight surely, contrasting heavily with the stern, detached Khill businessman and his ponderings. The reason for his departure on Manaan - a business deal where Drask Trading was supposed to serve as an intermediary between the famous megacorporation Blackwell Technologies and Core Mining. A Lannik based company that was relatively new in the scene and was founded directly by the Lannik monarchy. Sensing an immediate business opportunity, Lorn offered the services of his organization in brokering the ambitious deal with the Blackwell company. How deep and intertwined Lorn's intentions were in this enterprise was a different matter all together. The Lannik group was in a need of mining personel, more so - mining droids, after recently discovering a certain potential for developing export of their planet's raw materials further than it was ever before. The Lannik species were physiologically unfit to undertake such endeavors with manual labor of any sort other than droids, and so promising to ensure a deal that could potentially bring great prosperity and progress to the world Lorn was looking to not only profit tremendously but also leave many doors open for the potential workings with the Lannik government as a person of trust, and if things would go as planned - a symbol of change.

Lorn was supposed to meet with a young human male - Newton Arden, a representative and a designer for Blackwell Technologies from what he had gathered. Still gazing through the large window the Khill stood and waited calmly with his arms crossed behind his back. Pondering about the information he had read about the young man he toyed with an idea he had in his mind for a while - to perhaps get a personal droid for himself. Though the busy schedule never allowed him to fully commit to the idea perhaps now was a chance for that, given that the main order of business was to be settled first.

[Newton]

Newton was in his Manaan office room, getting ready for his next appointment. He had a datapad on his desk, everything ready as he would be counting down the time on his chrono. Newton had his secretary droid L3 in his office as well, awaiting instructions. So as L3 reminded him, he is meeting with an intermediary with a new company that was founded by the Lannik government, they are in need of mining droids. Good of a business opportunity as ever. More money for Blackwell, and more credits for him via commission.

Newton was wearing a nice suit of course, looking professional as ever.

It was time, with a nod, the Blackwell Manager would then get out of his chair and to met his his client. He would smile as he would greet his him. "Hello there, Lorn Drask, right? Nice to meet you" he would also extend his hand towards him, for a firm handshake. Newton additively never seen a species like his before. After two get the pleasantries out of the way, Newton would gesture to his office which is near by, there would be a seat in front of Newton's desk waiting for him.
