Corporate Sector Annexation

─ Expansion of Ziost Protectorate ─

The massive expansion of the empire's dominion and protectorates has spread its strength and resources across the galaxy. Once, the empire thwarted annihilated by consolidating its might in one area, Sith Space. However, the invasions and annexations have left the great wealth spread thin. The emperor and his dark advisors sought the Core Worlds not just for their source as the Republic's nexus, but for the abundance of manufacturing. Balmorra, Kuat, and Corellia began pumping out the gears of war for their new imperial masters. However, for the empire to truly succeed, the entire galaxy must be united under the first galactic-wide empire. Their conquests have meritis ted much, but an edge is needed to destroy their heretical enemies the Jedi and the barbaric Mandalorians. The empire, luckily, has a quick fix. Neighboring Sith Space for decades and selling munitions and weapons and ships is the Corporate Sector. Prior to the fall of the Republic, the Corporate Sector was one of the primary sources of gear for the empire. It dared not attack the Corporate Sector lest lose its military's lifeblood. But with the acquisition of other manufacturing worlds the Corporate Sector has lost its leverage and the empire has come to collect. Led by the Grand Moffs, the empire turns its sights to the Corporate Sector for liberating annexation...

[ASK] THE EMPYREAL FLEET

Ever since the first prototypes of the Empyreal-class Star Destroyers and the Sith Directorate's modified Magnetar Fleet, the Empyreal-class has been a staple of strength, but a slow one. Numerous battles have swayed due to the delay in the arrival of Empyreal reinforcements. After decades of tolerance, the Sith Directorate led by retired Sith Lord Andredd has set their eyes once more on modifying the Empyreal-class. Having abandoned the long-range turbolasers of the Magnetar Fleet to make up for the slowness of the Star Destroyers, they now seek to improve the hyperdrive. On the Corporate Sector world of Nyriaan is an abundance of an alloy called madilon, which is used to make improved hyperdrives. In secret, Grand Moff Andredd commissioned the engineers of a Nyriaan company to manufacture a prototype for a Star Destroyer, claiming to be a CSA-owned Star Destroyer captured from the Empire. When reports came that the prototype was complete, Grand Moff Andredd sent his Empyreal-class Star Destroyer Gordian Serpent to retrieve it. Realizing the Empire wants it, the engineers seek to fortify their research compound and either spirit away the prototype or destroy it. Andredd has sent a taskforce to retrieve the prototype. Its procurement could aid the war effort if the installation proves the Star Destroyers can be improved.

[ASK] THE BATTLE OF DELTOOINE

As the Empire makes its true goals clear through hostilities on Kalla, Nyriaan, and Issagra, the Corporate Sector Authority began to mobilize. However, they had been dealing with their own problem. Just prior to the Empire's invasion, the Aegis Defense Industries was hired to harass the Corporate Sector Authority base on Deltooine, one of the prime military installations. When the Empire began full-on assaults, the ADI was to finish the job. However, things are progressing slower than Moff Luxina of Sriluur had desired. Requiring ADI's assistance elsewhere, she has assigned agents to aid ADI in its assault of the CSA base and finish the Deltooine incursion.

[ASK] LET'S KILL THE EMPEROR

Most of the Corporate Sector worlds have fallen with little effort; many manufacturing weapons of war but never having used any. The CSA is the primary defense, and it is not everywhere, the ExO focusing on certain worlds. However, the chief port world of the Corporate Sector, Bonadan, sees the fall of the CSA as inevitable, and as such has sought to open diplomatic channels to parlay with the Empire. On the suggestion of multiple Moffs, Luxina chief among them, the Emperor himself is overseeing the final negotiations of surrender and annexation of Bonadan into the Empire. Alas, Moff Luxina has other plans. Years ago, Malak Ambros bombed the Moff Council and nearly killed Emperor Malon before disappearing. She however believes Malon did not survive, and instead Ambros has masqueraded as Malon all these years. Positioning Malon to Bonadan, she has hired ADI to kill whom she believes is Galak Ambros. During the closing ceremony, a bomb goes off. The Emperor Malon and his entourage are left to defeat the ADI saboteurs and thwart Moff Luxina's plans.

[OPEN] STARS' END

Emperor Malon escaped Moff Luxina's machinations on Bonadan, much to Luxina's chagrin. The traitorous Moff has fled to the Corporate Sector's fabled prison, Stars' End. Hundreds of prisoners populate the prison, among them imperial nationals. Moff Luxina and her cohorts in the Corporate Sector have taken over the prison and unleashed the prisoners as her unwitting soldiers. Chaos reigning in the prison, imperial agents infiltrate the prison and fight through the prisoners. However, the Stars' End community is diverse, and a few Jedi and Mandalorians are among the freed incarcerated.

[ASK] THE GUNGAN POISON

Naboo has become one of the strongholds of the Jedi heretics. The planet has a rich history that also includes tensions between the human settlers and the underground Gungan natives. The Gungans generally keep to themselves unless affected, keeping to themselves and their traditions. Several Gungan traditions employ the intoxicant plant chak-root, a plant not only found on Naboo, but also on the Corporate Sector world Erythes. During the imperial invasion of the Corporate Sector, Erythes was among its acquisition. Securing a sample of the plague on the quarantined Corporate Sector world Jerrist VI, the Empire hopes to weaponize the Jerrist plague by turning the chak-root into a carrier of the virus then send the chak-root to Naboo, to infect the planet on the Mid Rim world. The Empire needs proper facilities to accomplish this task, and Davirien contains a Chiewab Pharmaceuticals research facility, home to the proper tools needed to make this wonder. However, other bioweapons prowl the jungle world, and these abominations will not take kindly to intruders.

[OPEN] THE INVASION OF ETTI IV

The fall of the Corporate Sector is almost complete. The capital Etti IV remains the last bastion to stand in defiance to the empire's forceful annexation. Securing the other CSA bases, the Empire now surrounds the Corporate Sector capital and attacks it from all sides. However, Luxina's betrayal bred hope in the Executive Directorship Board that the Empire could be stopped, and as such sought aid from the Empire's enemies, some answering the cries for help. The Empire believes these trespassers will be of little threat and continues its assault, one taskforce assigned to neutralize ExO and the Executive Directorship Board, guarded by outsiders hopeful to exact revenge against the Empire for its atrocities.

Anya Sevchenko for the Empyreal Fleet. Sounds like something right up her alley.

@Dawnrider, this mission pack makes the perfect segue into my plans beyond our current thread. If you want to join up with the good Admiral again, that'd be just great. And if not, that's fine too. Just seems like impeccable timing that this mission pack rolls out just as we're discussing the Corporate Sector in our thread.

It's about to get so dark in here it'll be like 476-1453 AD #historymajor

Sal for Invasion of Etti IV, though if someone wants that slot badly I'll take 'Kill la Emperor' instead.

The Emperor is obviously in "Let's Kill The Emperor!"

Put my General, Baell, in for the "Invasion of Etti IV." Sounds right up his alley.

I'd love to sign up Nassana for Battle of Datooine.

And Calpernia for Star's End.

These all sound amazing though. Excellent pack.

To make note, just to make sure people are aware, Stars' End and Invasion of Etti IV are Open, where Mandalorians and Jedi can enter to try to thwart imperial efforts.

For the next 2 weeks my ability to respond to threads will be a bit limited, but if that's no issue I would love for my Marauder, Jax, to be involved in some way!

I think Gellart would be the most useful in Empyrial Fleet.

A good turn-out. Currently the following have signed up for the following:
1. Empyreal Fleet: Anya Sevchenko (@Gamov ), Daedalus Ryker (@Dawnrider ), and Gellart (@Shalken )
2. Battle of Deltooine: Nassana (@Cainhurst Crow ) {who according to profile is an Indie}
3. Let's Kill the Emperor: @Malon, Darth Trepidus (@Crim), Darth Scarr (@Ecclessey ), Tenrin (@Bastilo Marshall ), Asadon Tricson (@Vosh Deo )
4. Stars' End: Calperna (@Cainhurst Crow ), Kann Beroya (@christhebarker )
5. The Gungan Poison: No one yet
6. Invasion of Etti IV: Sal (@Hol Horse ), Baell (@Malon )

"No preference"-ers: Jax (@Kyber Krystal), Solomon Lok (@Zaphod Norblebrox )

Empyreal Fleet, Stars' End, and Invasion of Etti IV are good and I'll work on getting those threads up. We need people for Battle of Deltooine and The Gungan Poison still. I can sign up wherever needed, but will let others take priority.

Let's Kill the Emperor is overfilled. Malon has immunity from being bumped (because he's awesome and supah cool and interwesting). Asadon as the Dark Honor Guard of the other candidates makes the most sense being there, as he would be part of Malon's security detail. Crim, would you be chance be game to leading Gungan Poison? Looking at the profiles to see who is best suited for Let's Kill the Emperor, your character has degrees in biology, and also being the lead anti-Jedi inquisitor, you make the most sense to being part of the Gungan Poison's mission to formulate a poison to strike at a Jedi's stronghold. Split on whether Tenrin or Scarr should be at the summit.

Jax and Lok I'll put where needed after the Let's Kill the Emperor fills things out.

Let's Kill the Emperor is overfilled.

Darth Scarr has been called away to Coruscant during the transit from Korriban to Bonadan and will no longer attend the summit.
