Ted walked around at the temple side by side with Vulcan. He always wanted to use a lightsaber and get revenge for everything that happened to him. Now, he finaly had a master who would teach him the ways of the dark side and how to use his anger for his advantage.

"So, my friend, time has come, wait there" Ted said pointing at a corner "and don't interfere". The animal did as told like he was understanding the human language.Ted threw the old lightsaber near his pet and started looking around for his master.

High above the courtyard, on one of the rooftop ledges a cloaked twi-lek looked down watching the boy. Curious it seemed to have a bond with the beast. Was this because the boy himself was beastial? It would be fitting. He shook his head, best not to make assumptions, lest he get his hopes up only to have the boy dead in a week. That would be terribly annoying.

He drew his cloak up over his lekku and head, then leapt down landing lightly, using the force to slow his fall perceptively. He landed with one foot, then the other on one knee, not a sound made except the flutter of his robes in the cold wind of the planet. "You're to be my apprentice yes?" He said looking the boy over again, reaching out with the force to get a sense of the boys power. "Hmm...well, this should be interesting. I am Mirrik, your master. I trust your beast will be of no problem, if it is I'll kill it. There will be no distractions, am I perfectly clear?"

Ted looked his master. He was surprised by his sudden appearance but didn't show it. "No master, Vulcan won't disturb us unless i say so or i die. So...there is no way of him to fight".

Vulcan was watching them the whole time. The animal took the lightsaber and walked away as he knew his master well.

The boy was still looking his master and prepared for hard training

"Good, then we shall begin. That lightsaber you gave your beast, is it yours? Do you know anything of how to wield one propperly? What do you know of our ways, those of the Bogan. I need to know where to begin, after all, lest I give you to much credit and think you actually know something."

"No, that was a lightsaber i once found, i learned some moves from the wielder and used them in tight situations". He looked down as the memories of the jedi's death came to his mind but then he destroyed these thoughts. He looked his master and answered to his other question "I only know the code of the bogan, nothing more than that" he paused to think and continued "i have some knowledge on lightsaber crystals too" and then he stoped

He paused in his stride as he saw the flicker of a jedi, for the briefest of moments. "And you learned all this from a jedi...curious, why didn't they take you in?" He asks, then looks at him, his face grim, though smiling. "Or did you perhaps kill the jedi yourself somehow? While he slept perhaps?"

"No, this jedi wasn't killed by me but from the bandits that killed my family. The jedi order can't give me the satisfaction of revenge". Ted felt that a fire in him was starting to burn. His anger fed him all these years

"Even if that jedi tried to save us, i'm sure it's his fault the bandits were there. I only want revenge and death, and only as a dark jedi can accomplish that." The boy felt a lot of hatred for everyone. "They took whatever i loved, my mother, my girlfriend, that's enough, they will not resist their fate. Complete annihilation"

"No peace, only suffering." he said echoing the first tenet of the code nodding. "Very good, I see you've learned this...I can feel your anger, which is also very good. It will give way to more passion, which will give you no rest, but it will give you strength." He says inhaling, feeling the darkside of not only the boy, but the temple surrounding him.

"I'll start with rudimentary basics then." He said picking up a pebble from the ground and walking over to one of the larger rocks. He lifts it with the force and places the pebble under it, then places the rock back as it was. "Bring me the pebble, but don't touch it, nor move it with anything that is touching you. You'll not eat, nor will you go back inside till you do this." he said, then as if on cue, the cold weather broke into a light snow, that began to coat the ground.

The cold weather surprised Ted but he had to worry more about the pebble. (I can move it a little but it won't help at all) he thought. Then he looked the builder his master had lifted before. He raised his hands and tried using the force on it. He first tried pushing the big builder and then attract it. The builder was standing in front of him no matter what the boy tried. "You won't be an obstacle to me" he whispered and pushed harder. After some minutes, he was furious of his inability to move the rock and was trembling from the breeze.

"Enough" he yelled and raised his both arms forgeting about the weather. The builder started moving. After some seconds it was floating a bit above the pebble but Ted was furious. He started closing his right fist. Parts of the builder started getting off. If the boy had enough power he would break it but he didn't. Ted used his other hand to get the pebble. When it floated into his hand, he opened his right fist and the builder fall down. The boy stood a little breathing deeply and threw the pebble to his master "There" he said without looking at him.

His master smiled and picked up the pebble, looking at it. "Very good, very good indeed." He says nodding. "Now take off your clothing for your upper body and shoes, then get the pebble, but do not move it to you, and do not climb to it using anything that is not strictly of yourself." He said, levitating the pebble with the force to the spot where he was perched before dropping down, high above them.

"Again, you will not eat, nor go inside till this is done." He said, knowing that it had taken the boy nearly half an hour in the cold to move aquire the stone, and the exhertion it had taken him. Now this would be compiled with the cold. He watched most interestedly, a sadistic smile on the twilek's face as he brought his hood up and pulled his robes around him more, to keep out the cold. He wasn't cold by any means, but he knew this would cause his apprentice much annoyance.

Ted looked his master and took off his shoes and his upper body clothing. HE stared the pebble a while. He had to take it quickly because the breeze was really bad and he felt his whole body trebling. He had his arms close to his body to protect from the weather but it didn't have much difference. He raised his right hand and and tried to move it but the wind showed no mercy. He looked his master for a while. Mirrik was standing there, in his clothes, his warm clothes.

Ted lost his focus. His master was really annoying. He was thinking the reason why was he trained this way. Then he whispered "Anything that can't kill you, makes you stronger". He looked the pebble and aimed at the space under it. Then he quickly punched the air using the force. He thought that by taking the pebble he would be one step closer to his goal. "Revenge" he whispered and used the force push. The space under the pebble exploded because of the sudden push sending the pebble to the sky. Ted raised his both arms and attracted the pebble towards a rock next to him. He couldn't feel the breeze anymore. He smiled. He let his left arm fall down and closed his right fist. While falling down, the pebble broke to pieces and scattered. The thought of doing to a jedi what he did to the pebble passed threw the boy's mind. Then he realised what he had done and turned towards his master. "Sorry master.i wanted to do this so much" and he looked his fist.

Mirrik walked over to his apprentice and raised his hand into a fist, he picked him up using the force and threw him into a snow bank some 10 yards away. "You wanted to do something. I don't care what you want. I'm to train you. Now, you'll start over." He said picking up another pebble and placing it under a larger boulder this time.

"Again."

Ted stood up and clean up the snow that was on him. He was feeling like a thousand needles piercing him. He had allready found a way to keep his focus. (I feel cold, i won't ignore it) he thought and turned his attention towards the pebble. He was hungry and cold but he tried to focus on the rock. he raised his arms and started trying lifting the builder. The big rock fell down as the boy lost his focus from the pain. He made some steps towards the builder and moved his arms violently towards the sky. The builder was moving upwards slowly. He used his one arm to stabilise it and the other to attract the pebble.

He needed some time to get it right but eventually he did. The pebble was in front of the boys hand so he decided to let the builder down. The buildr fell on its previews position and the boy caught the floating pebble and showed it to his master. At the meantime, Vulcan sat in some distance from them and didn't look annoyed by the weather. His fur protected him. In contrast, Ted felt the snow piercing his body and he barely could feel anything else.

"Good, now again, you'll get the pebble, but you will not bring it to you, you will go to it as I said earlier." He said, using the force once more to levitate the pebble high up onto the building's roof. "Remember, you must purge yourself of weakness before you can be strong, use what you have, if you think right now you have nothing then you're not worth my time. Now, fetch." He said once more, though this time he did aid the boy visually. He gathered the force into him and used it to propel him high into the air landing next to where the rock was on his feet. He turned looking down on his pupil waiting for him to complete the task.

Ted memorized what his master did. A force jump was difficult, at least for him. He forgot the cold once again and tried to jump using the force. Unfortunately, it wasn't too good so he could only reach the edge. He knew that his master wouldn't be satisfied with that and neither would he so he fell down breaking the fall using the force. He looked up, made some steps back, cleaned up his body from the snow and jumped. The force jump was succesful since he landed in front of his master. He took the pebble from his feet and offered it to his master "Now what?"

"Now we go inside before you die of pnemonia." he said sounding appeased. He jumps down, then waits for his apprentice. "Don't put on your clothes as they'll be freezing cold and filled with snow by now. Take them inside and change and meet me in the dinner hall." He said, then headed inside.

Ted fell down breking his fall again. He picked up his clothes and cleaned them from the snow. Then he headed inside. Vulcan yawned and followed his master. He made a move to take the clothes but the boy's cold movement made the animal understand that Theodore didn't need anything.

After some time, Ted putted on his dry clothes and rubbed Vulcan's head. The boy left the room in a hurry walking towards the dinner hall while the panther relaxed near a chair.

Ted stepped in the room examining it and trying to memorise the details. It was a habit of him to do that. An entrance like this could end up in a very good escape. As a thief he had learned and used that millions of times, never against jedis though. The boy focused in finding his master after that.

Mirrik sat eating a bowl of stew, fresh out of the pot, there was another one cooling infront of him as his apprentice eventually found him and sat down. "Eat, you'll need the energy for what's to come next." the twilek said chuckling as he downed the rest of his bowl. Then stood. "I'll be in the training platform on the roof." he said heading back out.

Ted was feeling really hungry after the training but he decided not to eat too much, that would have terrible consiquences after more training. Fortunately, he didn't forgot to feed his pet earlier so he didn't have to go back. After he consumed a big part of his food, he stood up and got ready for more training. After several minutes and various thoughts, he was on the roof and was looking at the view while waiting for Mirrik's orders.

On the roof there was another acolyte standing beside Mirrik, he was going over lightsaber techniques with a training saber as Mirrik watched. Feeling his apprentice appear he turned and looked at him. "You said you were taught some basic moves. I wish for you to show me them. You'll use this blade." he said, tossing a training saber in Teds direction. "Warm up, then when you're ready you'll face this acolyte."

The acolyte turned and nodded to Mirrik, it was unclear if he was another apprentice or just someone pulled from the various ranks in order to have some time with a master that was not his own and absorb outside knowledge. Such things were not unheard of after all.
