Welcome back! Not sure when you left but the big things I can think of have been:

-Mandos got hit big time after they couldn't get it together at a peace summit. Entire sector was turned to glass, surviving clans are now scattered and whatnot.

-Jedi Temple on Anoth was attacked, and they're abandoning their one one Arbra. The Light of the Force was also destroyed so they're going to be without temples for a while.

-The Sith took Thyferra from the Hutts without a fight, and now the Sith-Hutt War is kicking into gear with the Battle of Klatooine going up today, along with signups.

-Rebels are floatin' along, building up assets, and whatnot.
