Credits.

I saw that a new charecter starts out with 1000 credits. My question is are these useful? Is there a way to earn more? Do you spend them on anything?

Credits have no purpose in game.

We were going to have a Credits system, but for unspecified reasons it was abandoned. So long as you don't go around saying you have billions of credits from the start or whatever, it's all good. Though we just try to be realistic sorta.
