Ahri had gotten pretty used to doing most jobs on her own. More often than not, when someone hired her for her particular brand of services, they wanted something discreet and fast. A face smashed in, a warehouse loading dock door sliced to leave it prime for pilfering, stuff like that. This job though was a little bit outside of her wheelhouse and as such, there were two others with her onboard her ship.

Ahri had offered her own ship for the transportation mostly because she didn't trust anyone else to drive and a little bit that she didn't like leaving her cat droid alone for extended periods of time. Sure, he was just a droid, but he was also a cat and as such Ahri treated Oolong better than she treated most people.

Their destination was Bespin, a world unclaimed by any of the current factions that were waving their dicks at each other. A planet rife with resources that any one of those factions would love to get their hands on, though with rising tensions doing so might become more difficult. Of course, the Crimson Dawn were more than willing to step in and make it easier, massive upcharge for their trouble more than implied.

Of course, they first needed to get their hands on a reliable source to siphon and sell which was going to be the tricky part. But that's why they were going to Cloud City, one of the biggest hubs on Bespin. A little bit of research had given Ahri ideas on a couple of different options to achieve what they were looking to do, each with their own possible pitfalls.

As she landed her ship in one of the public hangers, Ahri would look to convene with her compatriots to discuss what their next steps might be.

We should probably decide on a course before we continue, Ahri said, pulling out her Nav-Phone and airdropping some of her notes to Acklay and Aaisha. Option one is we get our hands on a tug and a registered cloud car to pose as a police escort. We can use siphoning balloons to peel off some of the tibanna from a mining platform. It would probably be the fastest way, but siphoning balloons are a common crime around here and the operation would probably be disrupted eventually.

Pressing a few buttons on her phone, Ahri shrugged her shoulders. Second is a little more risky, but could be a lot more secure in its payoff. But we'd need to get access to one of the mining corps offices, probably a supervisor's terminal. We slice in and create a dummy account and fake funds, and just let the idiots think they're selling to us but we're just getting everything for free. Higher odds of having to deal with cops if we get caught, but what's life without a little bit of fun?

Taking out a cigarette, Ahri would light it and take a couple of hits before looking at both of her quote unquote partners, expecting them to have an opinion on which they wanted to do and not take forever trying to figure it out. She was the kind of criminal that wanted a plan before they started, much less chance of fuck ups that way.

Well? She asked, doing little to hide the impatience in her tone.

Time was money and she didn't want to waste any more of either.

Mars was also used to working alone. She didn't really need another pair of hands in her slicing escapades, especially the ones that just involved infecting systems or getting in and waiting until the time was right. But not all missions could be done alone, and she'd grown used to working with others again as well. Partners could be useful for many things, like causing distractions or dealing with opposition while she worked.

"I'm partial to the plan that involves slicing," Mars stated, a smile curving her lips upward under her mask. She glanced between Ahri and Aaisha, her gaze lingering on the Morganian for a few moments before trailing up to the ceiling. She leaned back in her chair, kicked her feet up, and procured her datapad from her pocket. "Their systems are probably pretty secure, so getting in on elevated privileges is a must," she added, referring to Ahri's suggestion of an administrator's terminal.

"If we create a fake identifier to use for whatever transport we use, it'll give us another layer of protection if the ruse is found out," she added.

Unlike her companions, Aaisha enjoyed working with amble company. As a smuggler, the Morganian often dealt with intermediaries and middle men during the course of her job - transporting illicit goods from one location to another. Under the banner of Crimson Dawn, that work had continued by furthering CD’s grip on the lucrative Spice trade. The fact that her two companions were somewhat antisocial - hopefully - wouldn’t be much of a problem. Though she certainly had no problems working with ‘Acklay’ again. The Morganian offered the slicer a smirk and wiggle of her fingers in greeting - before turning her attention onto Ahri fully.

She crossed her arms, listening to the options presented.
The smuggler was dressed rather casually - sporting a blast vest, jeans and pair of boots. Her blaster was holstered at her hip, while an additional vibroknife was strapped to outside of her upper thigh.

“Siphoning balloons are too predictable,” She said after a moment. The Morganian had entirely too much experience with that sort of method, and knew that the additional scrutiny on Bespin would make such an operation difficult. “More importantly, we’ll have a more difficult time securing any large amount of Tibanna going that route.”

She shook her head. “If we can slice through security and pull off the deal, we’ll be able to secure a much larger payload - and is less likely to draw attention to ourselves.” The Morganian drummed her fingers against her bicep, listening when ‘Acklay’ spoke.

I can handle local transponders for a transport. Should be more than enough to avoid scrutiny.”
