Crux’s Armor

Bought from a retiring bounty hunter with the credits from one of his missions, the red and black five-piece armor set has belonged to Crux ever since. It features a fully enclosed helmet, chest and back protection, gauntlets, and leather coverings for the upper legs. Not too heavy, but not too light either.

LEGALITY

Legal, but may draw unwanted attention.

INTENT

To provide a custom set of armor for Crux that he will probably be wearing 99% of the time.

Type and Coverage

Type: Medium Armor

Coverage:

  • Head: Fully enclosed durasteel helmet
  • Torso: Durasteel plating for the chest, armor weaving for the stomach
  • Back: Durasteel plating for the back
  • Lower Arms: Susurra weave gloves
  • Upper Legs: Leather “plates” covering the thighs
  • Lower Legs: Leather boots

Functions

Function 1: Filter

  • Filters are bulky attachments to a helmet, or function as part of a mask, that filter out environmental contaminants such as smoke or most toxins. They are susceptible to caustic substances and damage.
Function 2: Computer Spike

  • Computer spikes are used to forcibly decrypt or unlock computer terminals. Most civilian systems can be cracked in one posting round, while most military or hardened systems take two or more.
Function 3: Armorweave Accessory

  • Most often in the form of a heavy cape, skirt, or underlay beneath armor, armor weave provides some protection against the penetrating effects of shrapnel from explosives and other unpowered high velocity impacts, with only a small amount of bleed through damage (bruising or very minor wounds). It offers no protection against kinetic impact or energy, vibroweapons, or similar "powered" weapons. Having more than one accessory (example: Cape + underweave) provides no additional effect.
Function 4: Scout HUD

  • Scout HUD - Contains a 4x magnifier and Compass.
Function 5: Vision Modes

  • This Allows a Helmet HUD to cycle to low-light OR thermal vision modes.

Just an FYI, the grapple line and dart launcher are force user restricted, so can't be used by your character as they're Force Sensitive.

Does Force-user restricted mean it can’t be used by any who are Force-sensitive? My character isn’t aware that he‘s Force-sensitive and doesn’t use any powers directly related to it. That being the case would it still be alright? If not I’d be happy to make some changes

Yeah, the rule is that if they're force sensitive then they can't use it. Will have to be switched out unfortunately.
