Crystal Vambrace​

The Crystal Vambrace is a make-shift piece of armour created from the crystalline bones of a Twi'lek possessed by the spirit of an ancient Sith Queen, uniquely suited to defend against lightsabers but not much else.​

Overview​

The Crystal Vambrace was created by stacking several crystalline bones under layers of leather and stitching. Though the finish is not entirely professional, the Sith Acolyte responsible for its creation used what was on hand at the time to create a truly unique piece of armour.​

​

Unique not for the construction itself so much as the main materials used, the crystalline bones of the Twi'lek used in the vambrace are the result of Sith magics blending kyber crystals with other precious gemstones, under the direction of an ancient Sith Spirit connected to a Force Nexus.​

Due to the nature of the materials used, the Crystal Vambrace is forever likely to remain an utterly unique artefact. The spirit responsible for the creation of the crystals used did not leave instructions on how to create them and has since passed.​

​

It is worn as a vambrace, obviously, and is lightsaber resistant, intended for this sort of combat. The crystals resonate with the energy given off by lightsabers, taking in the energy to mitigate damage dealt by them. After combat, the energy will slowly leech out of the crystals into the surroundings as heat, allowing them to be used again in the future.​

Due to its unique structure, the crystals used in the vambrace can resist up to TWO lightsaber attacks completely. This is similar to the defensive nature of beskar or other spelled metals/materials but it can ONLY be used to defend against lightsaber attacks - other forms of damage just damage the crystals and bleed through to the wearer.​
