DESCRIPTION
The CSR-2A blaster pistol was a weapon favored for its sleek design by many law enforcement agencies in the Core Worlds, such as those found on Hosnian Prime and Corellia, though they could be found elsewhere as well. They were particularly favored by bounty hunters due to the pistol's stun feature, which allowed targets to be captured alive when the bounty called for it. The CSR-2A was also favored for its dallorian alloy body, which made it naturally resistant to heat, allowing it to withstand repeated fire which would melt models made from other types of metal. Its compact and sleek design allowed it to be easily concealed for undercover missions, as well. It could also be easily modified, the most common of which was to hollow out a portion of the grip, lowering the weight of the weapon for quicker draws.
The CSR-2A was not made for prolonged combat, but for short, intense surprise attacks or duels. As a result, each was capable of firing twenty shots per power pack.
LEGALITY
Legal. Though obviously restricted by some planets and systems with stricter weapon laws, the CSR-2As are legal and even common, particularly among the Core Worlds and those bounty hunters hailing from the Core Worlds..INTENT
To be honest, to give a blaster pistol that looked similar to the more sleek Naboo royal blaster pistols used in the movies. It was also made to give bounty hunters a blaster pistol with a stun function, allowing them to capture their targets alive. The design is an amalgamation of Jango Fett's WESTAR-34 blaster pistols and the Naboo royal blaster pistols.ADVANCED TECH
No. Though expensive, due to the alloy they are built from, CSR-2As are fairly standard in terms of what they can do in comparison to other blaster pistols.
