Hello all! I saw Sidon's thread in this forum (spooky link). Unfortunately Sidon's computer died and as far as I can tell his/her soundcloud account is no longer active.
So, I'd thought I'd like to give his idea a try. To whoever is interested, I'll be happy to try and compose a custom orchestral theme for your character/faction/location. Now, to avoid any disappointment I'd like to make a few things clear:

If you're going to submit a request, please provide as much info as possible! For example, if you'd like me to try and compose a theme for your character, tell me as much as possible about that character! Where did they come from? Where are they headed? Are they sneaky? Brave? Cowardly? Sleazy? Feel free to specify particular (orchestral) instruments that you think would fit the character or would like to have incorporated in the theme. Any hints you can provide about the desired mood and/or pace are also appreciated. In short: the more you can tell me about what it is you'd like to hear, the better.
With all that said I just want to reiterate that what I end up making may or may not fit your taste, and that's fine. For me, this is a good way to practice my own skills and (maybe) make some people happy, that's the underlying intent at least!

- I'd be making these themes on my own time, so please be patient and please understand that I'm not some kind of music genius. If I get a lot of requests this time will only increase. Furthermore, I got a whole bunch of other RL stuff to do in the meantime, so my time spend working on these requests will be sporadic at best.
- Adding to that... I do not provide any guarantee that I'll take on your request. There could be a variety of reasons why I might not be able to meet your request, either because it's beyond my skill, or perhaps because I can't cater to the specific wishes you have. Please don't take it personal if I don't take you up on your request.
- I'm not some kind of musical genius. Keep your expectations low and you'll be less likely to be dissapointed.
- I'm not great at doing epic trailer kind of stuff, largely because I'm a bit ambivalent about the genre. That said, I'm willing to give it a shot if you've got an enticing request.
- I'm not Williams, not by a long, long, looooong shot, but my style leans much more towards Williams than it does toward Hans Zimmer. Just so you know!
- Constructive feedback is welcomed!
